Goatea

Came here for the first time on Sunday. I am taking away one star, because they opened late so I had to wait outside until they arrived. Taking away another star, because they advertise that they have the skewers and to my disappointment they stopped selling them.
I got an iced mocha milk tea %75 sweetness. I was told that %75 is what people usually get, but I was nervous, because I don’t particularly like really sweet foods or drinks. I was surprised by how perfect the drink was. It was not too sweet! The owners that were working were friendly and welcoming, the place was clean and the pricing was very reasonable! cheaper than most bubble tea places I have gone too. I just moved to a house not too far from here so I will be back and after a couple of visits, update my review :)

Finally, a good bubble tea place that opened in Federal Way!
So far I’ve been here two times, and my second time I got a Royal milk tea hot with a 75 sweetness, and oh my god it was super good! It tastes just like the milk tea I had in New York Chinatown. The first time I had the Jasmine milk tea and that was good too.
Service was good as well!
My only complaint is that they are located so far away from me and so hidden, a place like this would have better business if they were located somewhere better.
But other then that, I would totally recommend this place! :)

Customer service is actually pretty decent. Which is why I’m giving them a 2 instead of a 1 star rating. Communication was a lot better the second time around than the first so that was a plus. However I came back to order the lychee slush with lychee jelly and tapioca, which to my surprise they actually got right. I then ordered a avocado smoothie with lychee jelly, I watched as the person taking down my order write it down.
The wait was 15 – 20 minutes for bubble tea which would be understandable if it was packed but there was only 4 people waiting, and again its bubble tea not a meal. Oasis is usually always packed but I’ve never actually waited 20 mins for two cups of bubble tea.
When the drink came out the avocado smoothie came out with tapioca not lychee jelly; feeling super disappointed I told them that they got he order wrong but you know it’s fine. So they apologized and the lychee slush with lychee jelly and tapioca came out and it was disappointedly still super sweet. The tapioca wasn’t cooked all the way so it was still hard in the middle.
Overall customer service was decent but not good enough to surpass the quality of the bubble tea maybe I’ll come back after a decent amount of time to see if it gets better because in all honesty I really want to like this place.
