Jade River Acupuncture

Don’t waste your time like I did! Wound up with a hefty bill & she didn’t help me one bit! Besides that… don’t be surprised if the only statement you get is…“pay the total amount or get sent to collections”. I NEVER received a statement prior to this one! Crappy way to do business & will NEVER go to this place again! And… I will make sure I let everyone know how they conduct their business! What a waste of time & money!

Lory was a delightful acupuncturist and made me feel at ease immediately. The room was beautifully decorated, calm and inviting. Lory spent some times discussing my issues and then worked on my meridians to help me with my fibromyalgia… it was awesome! Will be going in a few more times over the month and recommend her highly!

I’d never had acupuncture and it was recommended by my doctor. I’ve had ongoing shoulder back pain and massage wasn’t giving me much relief. Jade River was on the (short) list of insurance backed acupuncture places. I was skeptical, but went in with a open mind.
Nice office, shared by many associated service providers, but was never crowded. Comfortable waiting room, all areas clean and neat. The acupuncturist lady was really nice, on the first visit she explained everything she was doing, how it was going to relieve my pain, and what our ongoing session schedule would look like. Room was very nice, I laid on a comfortable heated table on my back and she stuck the needles in, and NO it does not hurt a bit!
After everything is in, she leaves the room and let me rest with them in for about an hour/​45 minutes. There was always soft music playing, the whole office was quiet and the room comfy. Really relaxing!
I did see a huge benefit after a few sessions. I think we did about 3 a week for a month. After the first one, I noticed my shoulder hurt less. After the month of sessions my pain didn’t really come back, and if it did, it was a dull ache versus sharp shooting pain. It was a huge improvement! I found the sessions relaxing and appreciated how they listened to my feedback and adjusted the treatment, ALWAYS explaining what they were doing throughout. I can highly recommend their services and they are on the list of approved acupuncture for Group Health with a referral.

Lori worked with me to relieve pain from a shoulder injury. I love the fact that her schedule is online for appointment bookings. After just a few sessions, my shoulder felt significant relief from the pain. As we continued, we discussed other health related issues that I was having, my goals for long-​term fitness and general health.
