This place is a hidden gem. The owners are so sweet and friendly. They have some good phở and also a mean coconut taro bubble tea. The spring rolls and egg rolls are yummy too. They have a super size phở which is a great deal for families and it comes with spring rolls. There’s also a mini bakery with Asian baked goods and white chocolate Mac cookies. I love this place for phở in fed way better than the bigger chain phở places around town.

So I’ve eaten here several times now and every time the food has been really good. I’ve had the seafood phở a couple times, and I think it’s very good. Last time I had the shrimp vermicelli and it was very good as well. The salmon spring rolls are incredible and definitely the reason I keep coming back. My only complaint, and the reason I’m only giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the boba tea. I’m big into my boba tea, but I don’t enjoy it frozen, I like it just as a tea… so one time I asked if theirs was just frozen or if I could have my tapioca pearls in a tea, and the waiter told me they could make it anyway I wanted it. Let me tell you, it was soooo good! The very next time I went I asked if I could have a boba tea not frozen, and the waiter I had that time told me no, they only come frozen. I was very disappointed. And then he brought us shrimp and pork spring rolls instead of salmon. My boyfriend and I don’t eat pork. Another disappointment. But that was just the most recent time. The other times have been good, so I will go back again.

This was our second visit. The vegetarian phở or noodle soup was/is good. We also got V8 and V11. Which were excellent. I also love the tofu spring rolls. My hubby and I are vegetarian so it has some good tofu choices for us.

The broth is tasty and hot. The portions are generous, even the medium(smallest option) is huge. The food came quick, even the egg rolls which were ordered halfway through the meal. The staff is personable enough and the one waiter(not the owner) was patient enough to explain things to someone having phở for the first time. I’ll be back.

2nd time here and the food is absolutely fantastic. First time had there Phở. Definitely a great choice. In the North West phở restaurants are common but most aren’t worth eating. This one is definitely top tier. I also wanted a quick bite of food and had a Vietnamese sandwich. Perfect. Great food. Try it out. You won’t be dissatisfied. I will go back again and again. You have a new valued customer.

We ordered Phở and a Chicken plate plus two Pork Spring Rolls. The meat is generous but the problem comes with the broth(extremely underseasoned) and one of the tendon came out very cold which I had to spit out. The Chicken dish my friend ordered was overcooked and chicken was pretty old. Neither one ate very much and we had to pick out our BBQ spring Roll and ate just the meat. The only good thing was our Diet Soda and our Vietnamese Iced Coffee. Raised our concern with the manager and made no attempt to correct the issues nor offered any apology for what happened. We will NOT return. The service was louzy as well with no check, refill. We had to walk up to the counter even to get the bill.

We came super late in the day, like 9:30 pm. Service seemed slow, but not bad once they realized we had sat down unannounced lol. I didn’t show up for a baller ambience, a cool environment, or even the world’s best service. I showed up for that phở, and the Phở was legit. We ordered a 1, 2, 3, a $ 4 banh mi, and an eggroll platter. I must admit, all the flavors were right and the portions fair/generous. We’re stuffed and sated for less than $ 40. Not bad at all. You ain’t no Golden Deli(in Los Angeles) buy you are a welcome flavor to a lost yellow boy in a sea of white. Phở Huang, you’re legit.

The place looked clean but the food was not even memorable. My order was also wrong but it’s not like I’m planning on coming back so it doesn’t matter. Go if you must and judge it yourself

I entered this establishment with high hopes and immediately found myself disappointed. After receiving a personal recommendation and reading the high ratings here I expected to have my taste for Phở filled in a pleasant environment. Instead I visited this establishment last night with my fiancé and left before eating. We seated ourselves as the sign indicated and had to wait 5 – 7 minutes to get menus in a practically empty dining area.(There were three other patrons in the restaurant the same time we were there.) As we perused the menu we noticed that numerous tables around us contained the dirty bowls and plates from previous customers. None of which were cleaned up before we left the establishment. After we received our menus we waited 15 minutes and never had our order taken.(The restaurant remained practically empty). In that same period of time another couple came into the restaurant received menus, drinks, and had their order taken while we received nothing. To add insult to injury we received a half hearted apology as we left the restaurant. Leaving me with the impression that they never intended to serve us. I won’t go so far as to say that no one else should never eat here in the future, though I would suggest that you consider if you would want to receive the same negligent treatment my fiancé and I received before you decide to spend your money here.

Out of all the phở restaurants I’ve been to in Federal Way, this restaurant is my most favorite. Whenever I crave for phở, I go to this restaurant. And what’s most important is that they have friendly workers. There is one server who cannot speak good English, he’s the one that cleans the table most of the time, don’t get upset if he doesn’t understands you. I love that they sell bubble teas and desserts including drinks in a can. They have a small bakery shop as well. My boyfriend loves ordering their Vietnamese sandwich! I love getting their spring rolls as appetizer too. I would give it 4.5÷5! The only problem I have is that their bubble tea can be too sweet like I’ve tried the watermelon flavor, it was too sweet, but I really loved their honeydew or avocado smoothie :)

I’ve had better, I’ve had worse. This place saves me the drive to Seattle for a noodle bowl salad. Decent food, clean restaurant… it’s a pass in my book!

Came here after my boyfriend raved about this place. The waiters are very attentive and love the Seahawks theme they have going throughout the restaurant. The phở can be ordered in 3 different sizes.(med, large and the Superbowl LOL get it??) They must really love football. Can’t complain, love the theme! Order 2 egg rolls, steak phở and vermicelli. My fave was the egg rolls. So crunchy, piping hot and delicious. Everything else was pretty average. We also order a green tea bubble tea with tapioca. A bit sour and too sweet for me. I will def come back and try the other items on the menu. Finally a new phở place I can go to with good customer service unlike phở tai.

I’ve been going here since I was in the 6th grade and they’re my favorite, most consistent phở spot. I recommend it to everyone, especially the spicy lemongrass chicken yummmm! Also a plus is the built in bakery section and the point card where you can accumulate points for free food. Love it here!

We’ve been in a few times and enjoyed their banh mi and bubble tea. Today we had the grilled pork rolls and bun bo hue. Both were just ok. The rolls were a good size but not very flavorful. The bun bo hue tasted ok and had a good amount of meat but it didn’t have the right type of noodles. It was busy considering it was 3:30 in the afternoon; but there was only one person working. We’ll probably be back to try other things on their vast menu.

When I got transferred to Fed Way from Seattle, one of the biggest bummers aside from having to go car-dependent was the lack of lunch options. Fed Way is one big strip mall, and nothing but big chain fast food that’s been test-marketed to death. Worse, vegetarian or fish options are mighty slim pickings. The star of this place? The sandwiches. Scrambled egg? Sardines? Tofu? Accounted for. Too bad they don’t have a way to order a side of broth to dip those baguettes into, however. Bubble teas are perfectly sweet, and good variety of flavors, including taro and avocado. Portions are pretty big; an order of phở and a sandwich can go for three meals. It’s not five-star dining, but it’s comfort food — the«they probably serve this stuff at home» kind. This is obviously a family business. Food Network’s on the big screen near the counter. Seahawks game schedule is on the readerboard behind the counter. Buddhist altar with offerings at the front. Glass case of bakery items(and thank goodness they have some things like white gourd drink and basil seed drink in addition to the Pepsi), seating is a little bare bones. The opening hours say 10: am, but sometimes, the family gets caught in traffic and rolls up at 10:10 or so. It looks like mom and dad run the back while their kids run the front. Bit divey, but certainly a nice change from the«test-marketed-to-hell» blandness of most everything else in the vicinity.

We waited a long time to place our order as it was very busy and only 2 people working. My son said it was the best egg roll he’s ever had. The phở was very tasty here. Good location right off the freeway.

Got here at 10:00 and they where not ready for business. One of the reasons I came here is because they where supposed to be open. I wanted chicken phở but they only had chicken noodle soup, go figure. So I decided on steak and I ordered two egg rolls. After placing my ordered I waited a very long time to receive my food. I got my order to go so I’m hoping it was worth the wait

The phở was great, the iced coffee good, the spring rolls could have used more than 1 shrimp inside, but the service was what really ruined it. The dude, who seemed too shy and quiet to be a server, just didn’t seem to know what he was doing. He didn’t bring any plates for the spring rolls, so the three of us just ate over the table. He never brought napkins(something extra important with phở). He never checked back with us or brought a check. Every time I went back to the desk to ask for something he was playing games on his phone. I would recommend this place only for phở takeout.

2.5 Stars. What helps Phở Hoang get rounded up to a 3 star rating really is everything else but the phở. I have eaten the phở and the beef stew bowls, they are bland and the meat’s chewy! The bakery items, along with their finger food items that you wrap and roll are much better(between a 3 – 3.5 star). Linh Son down the street may be a better bet for Vietnamese food.
