U.S. Bank

Needed to work on a transfer which required manager. Waited forever before the king to come to assist. Will definitely avoid dealing with this branch

I have no issue with this particular branch but US banks in general have horrible customer service. I had 2 incidents happen where they were no help at all. I had my account closed without my knowledge for an over draft less then 50 bucks. Then my direct deposit couldn’t go in because of it. I called daily and they said I had to wait 7 – 10 days before direct deposit goes back to my company they also told me they don’t just close accounts without notice! But yet mine was with no notice I did not get my paycheck sent. Back for 7 days! The lazy I talked to was rude and condescending. I had another issue where I used a cash machine to draw out $ 200 but never received the money but receipt showed it had come out. I had to wait 7 days for that to be corrected also! I would not recommend this bank to anyone unless you are wealthy and can go weeks without a paycheck!

I have been a long time US BANK customer … mostly in Tukwila and Burien. I find this store to be capable and courteous (and very helpful) from senior management to teller. When there is a line, there are typically 4 to 5 tellers helping people, and the line moves quickly.

Old US Bank in the Albertsons parking lot. Felt like I was walking into a bank in 1971 (and the employees also look they are right out of 1971…). They are super SLOW and the lines are really loooooooooooong. Definitely would never be my bank. Had to cash a check here written on a US Bank check. The teller verified the funds and then CALLED the check writer to see if he really wrote the check — REALLY? Thank god he answered his phone and confirmed he did. Hope to never have to come to this bank again…

Simply put, the service in this place is just awful.
The lines are always long. I’m not sure if the tellers are understaffed or just plain slow, but plan on a good 5 or 10 minute wait if there’s something you can’t do at the ATM.
Also, it wasn’t until AFTER I opened an account here — and dealt with the almost endless upselling from the customer service rep — that I was told that the bank places a limit on your debit card for the first 90 days. Bank policy perhaps, but important to know BEFORE you’ve rung up a bunch of computer parts and your debit card is declined (even though you have more than enough in the account to cover).
Top that off with a less-​than-​helpful attitude («Sorry, we can’t do anything, it’s bank policy, blah blah.») and you can probably see why my money is be better off elsewhere.
Really, with the amount of competition out there, I’m a little surprised at how little effort US Bank put into keeping me as a customer.

I’ve been using their coin sorter machine for free rather than the Coin Star machine at the Albertson’s next door. Noting I don’t have an account there they’ve been happy to help me. The other day I was told I wasn’t welcome to exchange any other money there since I don’t have an account. I called customer service and ‘Robert’ told me that was exactly right, ‘they need to reserve their monies for real customers’. Then why bother letting anyone use the coin sorter? Needless to say, I went down the street to B of A to exchange the monies I needed. When I told them about it, they said I was always welcome there. Honestly, US Bank, shame on you for not providing the best customer service possible.
