It’s easy to spend quite a bit of time exploring everything in this store. They have everything from furniture and art to postcards and all types of memorabilia. I chatted a little with the man working(not sure if he’s the owner or not) and he said they’re really careful to make sure their prices are reasonable(and I found that they really were). My entire time in Fernandina I was kicking myself for having finished decorating my condo because I saw a lot of items that I really liked but just don’t have space for. This is a must stop if you’re antiquing or just exploring the area.

My wife and two sons travel from Ohio to Fernandina every year. Last year we found this place and my son hasn’t stopped asking to go back since then. We finally made it back this week. The owners are very kind and willing to share interesting facts and stories about the items in the shop. The artifacts are amazing and the prices are more than fair. We can’t wait to stop back next year and see what they have. Truly good people with tons of knowledge.

Pretty awesome little shop. And the best part is the prices are great. Usually shops that sell minerals and antiquities like this price gouge the hell out of you because most people don’t know what those things really cost. So that’s a huge bonus! Adults and kids can both find something cool in here: old Roman and Byzantine coins, fossils from small fossil fish to fossilized horse forelegs to some really great trilobite specimens, various African, middle east and Asian sculptures and cultural items, boxes, jewelry, old Roman spear tips, etc., etc. Gems and minerals aren’t the focus of the shop but there are still some great pieces to be found(like the big slab of selenite) at good prices. So overall I think you can be confident you’re not getting ripped off if you don’t know much about the things for sale there. Check it out!

Coolest shop I’ve been to in a while. If you are in fernandina please check this place out. It’s super neat. This is not your ordinary beach shop. It’s so much better. From 100 million year old dinosaur teeth to antique coins from 300BC. After browsing all the cool trinkets, I bought a really pretty Tibetan bohemian ring. There’s something for everyone in this shop.

Yep, lots of fascinating stuff here. Not really a tourist shop. Has some beautiful fossils, a great selection of ancient coins, etc. Really a bit like a museum where you can hunt down some real treasures. Tiny little storefront but a lot to explore inside. I’m buying a really neat trilobite for my sister’s collection and maybe find an ancient Greek Athenian Tetradrachm for me.
