Local Fernandina Beach resident checking in. I brought my visiting Aunt & cousins downtown today to show them how gorgeous it is. Today was incredibly warm and we did a lot of walking, so naturally we got thirsty. Fantastic Fudge was packed. No chance of getting ice cream there. Bummer. We spotted Island Time Frozen Yogurt a few doors down. I hadn’t been downtown in a while & didn’t realize it had opened. My oldest cousin Jenna, who is a smoothie fanatic, and I went in. We both got a strawberry smoothie. They were delicious! The smoothie was about 20 ounces. Super tasty & fresh. Very friendly staff and the building was clean and cozy. Great place for a cold fruity treat. Two thumbs up Island Time!

Food: 3.5 Service: 3 Ambience: 3 Date/Time: 12/14/2015&12/15/2015 in the evening This is your typical froyo place with a variety of flavors. It has both indoor and outdoor seating with outdoor areas in front and back. The first time we visited, the lady was very friendly and accomodating for taste tests while the 2nd visit was much less of that experience as he was busy cleaning the place. The froyo is good and the texture is smooth, but the cost is more expensive than any other similar place I’ve visited. For the same weight, the cost was about $ 1.50 more, but the taste was no better, nor was there any more variety in the toppings. It seems to be the only place in the immediate area that serves froyo, so not really much choice if you have that craving. I’d still recocmmend trying it out especially if you’re in the area, but I wouldn’t make a special trip as it’s no different than any other froyo place, and it’s higher priced.

The yogurt was marginal — for the price I expected fresh and delicious. I bought a very very small bowl of biscotti and key lime yogurt. It was $ 3.50! No toppings. About equal to one scoop. The biscotti had absolutely no flavor and the key lime was fair– had a bit of a chemical flavor. Never again.

It’s good enough to keep me going back whenever I go onto the Island but it IS expensive(priced by weight of course) and they only have about 8 choices but many topping choices. However, it is a good treat and I’ve never had a negative experience. Clean place with nice employees but it’s never the same faces so I don’t know about future ones. I think my rating is fair at least from my experiences. If you’re walking downtown Fernandina after eating at Brett’s with your significant other at sunset then it’ll be worth stopping by to walk around with some frozen yogurt listening to the music and window shop with the horse carriages strolling by! ;)

My daughter had the banana kiwi smoothie — she thought they would use fresh banana. It tasted awful — I tasted it also. When I asked the employee if he could make her a mango one instead he said«no, she already drank from it and he wasn’t allowed». We threw it away full. That’s amazingly poor customer service. He informed me they use banana purée!

They claim to have diary free but it’s just super-sugary sorbet. If you can have diary then the yogurt is probably okay but don’t go here if you’re not allowed to have diary, the supermarket has better sorbet than this.
