Horrible service in delivery. Pizza could take 1– ½ hours for $ 5! Pizza is cold delivered.

Wow! What a joy it was to try this branch’s delicious pizza last night. I live in Chicago, but I’m in town visiting some old friends. Last night, they suggested we get some pizzas from the Jet’s Pizza Ferndale branch on 8 Mile road. So, I went ahead and ordered a 8-​corner Super Special pizza and a large Pepperoni pizza for the kids. The pizzas arrived in absolutely no time, and more importantly, their taste was mouth-​wateringly good! The wife, kids, and I all agree that it was some of the best pizza that we have had. Will definitely be back for more!

These folks are RUDE, Inept and know nothing about customer service. Twice I have ordered from them through their online feature, they received the order but did not put it through so I had to wait another 20 mins once I got to the store. The 3^rd time I spoke to the manager who told me they call back to verify 20 mins after I placed my order mind you I was already in my way and don’t use my cell phone and drive so because I did not pick up they did not place my order. Not even an apology for the inconvenience or anything. Also had an incident where one of the cashiers would change the price of your order and pocket the rest. Brought it to their attention once that happened twice after we paid more but the receipt was not changed. Once again manager did nothing to her. Will take my business elsewhere. We deserve better in detroit!

Going back home … so i said let try this place. Honesty it was good i loved the way how they doing it was a nice service and clean

I am appalled at the service from this store. My husband ordered a large pizza online. An HOUR & 15min later, we called the store to inquire about our order. We were then told by an employee that there was a «technical error «and that they just finished making our pizza and that we would then have to wait another 45 minutes. There was no «I’m so sorry for the inconvenience!» Or «let me give you a discount for how long you’ve had to wait” — nope. We then asked to speak to a manager– we said it’s completely unacceptable to ask a patron to wait over 2 hours for pizza delivery and not offer any apology or discount. The manager then became defensive and asked «well, what do you want me to do” — um, how about some freakin’ customer service?! It was then «resolved» with them crediting our account with a whole $ 7… Um okay. Yeah, we won’t be getting out pizza here ever again.

I love jets pizza, however their online ordering sucks as does this location! I ordered a small deep dish square pizza, I guess they call to confirm your order? I missed their call but returned it immediately and she said I ordered a small round pizza. I said no I ordered a square pizza and she said well it’s already in the oven there’s nothing I can do about it. Then why even call to confirm the order? She could have had a new pizza made since I now have to pay for an order I don’t want. I own a business myself, if a customer is unhappy over something this small it’s a pretty simple and inexpensive fix. Starbucks does it all the time if they make your drink wrong, so do sit down restaurants! I won’t be ordering from this location again.

My family have ordered from Jet’s Pizza for quite some time. Everything was okay until today. My mother ordered a pizza and a salad with delivery. The pizza that was delivered was not the pizza that she ordered. She politely called and explained the situation. At first the staff argued with my mother and told her that her pizza arrived the way she ordered it. After a brief conversation, the actual staff person that took the order confirmed that it was wrong. The manager was helpful and offered extra toppings and a drink to make up for the mistake. The manager said he wanted the other pizza back and specifically said «do not touch the pizza».
A few minutes later my mother received another phone call to dispute this issue once again. After another conversation of explaining everything she was put on hold for 15 minutes. Finally she hung up and called back. She was told everything is fine a new pizza is on the way. A few minutes later she received another phone call stating that the pizza will not be delivered for another 2 hours and still «do not touch the other pizza».
At this point we have all decided to eat something else for dinner and will probably never order from this location again.

Don’t BOTHER! Gives jets a bad name! ID in order to pick up pizza that was paid on line? 1 driver on duty car broke down?! Really? Go to ANY Jets other than this location! HORRIBLE

Had 2 times in the past 3 months.
Both times the flavored crust was GREAT !!!
Group of us used coupons so the cost was a good deal.
The crust had the good caramelized flavor.
I have not had the salad or the bread stix from this location.

I love Jet’s, but this location’s customer service is the worst. I called to place a pick up order and wanted to pay over the phone because my boyfriend was going to be picking it up on his way home and I wanted to surprise him and pay for it. They proceeded to charge me for delivery and said that I would have to come in and bring my credit card and ID to be reimbursed for the $ 5 delivery fee. When I expressed disappointment, they countered with, «Well we can just deliver the pizza since we already charged you.» Ummmm… what??? The girl who I spoke to transferred me to a «manager» and I explained my situation: I didn’t want to be charged the $ 5 for delivery and never should have been in the first place and she goes, «ok.» and HANGS UP ON ME. I called back and had to explain my situation to who I originally talked to, who then put the «manager» back on the phone. She tells me that if my boyfriend and I don’t have the last name (lol, I know) that they can’t refund me, but they can just give him the $ 5 in cash when he comes to pick up the pizza. Sooooooo… they can refund me. Okay. Great!
This entire ordeal took 15 minutes and I would have been better off ordering online so I never had to interact with anyone.

The pizza is great, but this review is based on the service of the Ferndale location. I got delivery three times and each and every time, via their online service, they put me through different hoops. The first time I ordered online and the guy delivered the pizza — done. The second time I ordered online and they called to verify that I was a real person who wanted the pizza delivered even though I’m in their system — whatever, done. Third time I ordered online and they didn’t call to confirm, but instead the driver made me go get my card and my ID to check it was legit even though it was paid for already online. Now I GET all these checks, but I’m frustrated at the complete inconsistentcy of their processes — especially for repeat customers. I asked the 3^rd guy, ‘Hey, what gives?!” and he told me if that’s been my experience then his fellow co-​workers simply aren’t doing their job correctly and that they’re supposed to check the card every time.
Get it together Jets, and then once it’s together make your repeat customers who have to register on your website with a verifiable profile not have to go through all the security checks over and over again.

Oh my god, last night we had our annual pizza party, and the outcome was just fantastic! Last year we made an order from another chain, and unfortunately had a lot more left overs than expected. However, this year on the other hand, despite ordering plenty of pizza from the Jet’s Pizza Ferndale branch 8-​mile (since a friend of ours had suggested to give them a try) pretty much every slice was gone by the end of the night! Sure enough, the pizza was awesome, everyone was happy and to sum it all up: Jet’s Pizza rocks!

Order for takeout on my way from work and was quoted 20 mins. Upon arriving, I ended up waiting an additional 20 mins before my pizza was ready. There was no other customer in the store. I wouldn’t waste my time with this place

Reviews were a little mixed on this Jets. Ordered an eight corner. Pizza was done relatively on time and was very good. Will go back again.

I was looking for pizza and chicken wings for Tigers opening day, so I chose one of the closest options. The boneless wings were pretty good, but my wife found an eyelash in the pizza. I can’t go back after that. The pizza was just passable. I will drive the extra 5 miles for Loui’s or Nono’s from now on. Body parts in food means I can’t ever go back. It’s just too gross a thought.

Friendly and courteous customer service. The square pizza is the best, especially ordered well done. Fricken delicious. I live to order cheese with banana peppers and feta or veggies only. It’s never mushy, doughy, or greasy. The mozzarella is good too because its not overly salty.

Well I had a really good experience at Jets Pizza last night. We my hubby and I ordered a large pizza with a lot of everything on it and it was awesome! We had to wait a little longer then I thought we would but it was worth it. Everybody was nice and most of all the service was great! the order was the way we wanted it. So many times something is left off and you don’t know till you get home. Well in this case we could not ask for more. It was hot and delicious. They have a lot to pick from including cinnamon stix and there really good to.
If your out and want a really good pizza fixed the way you want it stop in Jet’s pizza you will be glad you did! there number is 248−584−2267.

Having worked at 5 different Jet’s in my youth, when I first moved to Ferndale I looked for a solid location that had quality product and that made their food as well as we did at ours. On my first couple orders from this location I was totally disappointed with what arrived at my house. It caused me to start ordering from the Madison Heights store which is a solid location FYI. But given that that my first attempts were years ago I wanted to give them another try. I got a hankering for Jet’s this weekend and after reading some of the reviews I decided to call an order in and pick up my pies. I got a standard pepperoni and mushroom square and a bread with ranch and pizza sauce.
I was really pleased with what I brought home. The pizza was well made, they used fresh tasting dough and it was cooked perfectly. The bread was the norm but really good and I liked their ranch a lot… it was thicker than most, kind of how we used to make ours.
I hadn’t picked up pizza here before but given the location the bulletproof glass didn’t surprise me. The service was quick and friendly and along with the food, restored my faith in this location. I’ll be back.

Jet’s pizza has been featured on AT&T small business commercials lately, but it wasn’t until I drove home with a full, happy tummy that I put two and two together. Jet’s from the commercial is the Jet’s I chowed down on while watching the season finale of Doctor Who. Who knew?
My fellow Who devotees and friends recommend Jet’s up and down as a great pizza parlour, and I was inclined to take their word for it. The hour long wait for delivery on a Saturday night attests that Ferndale is of the same mind. We settled in with a host of other nibbles and drinks to await our square veggie and square meat pizzas, and their arrival caused a flutter of anticipation in me and my dearest and nearest to descend like hungry vultures on a freshly keeled over corpse. My beau even deigned to pause in the frenzy to urge me to hurry up and join in before all the choice bits were gone.
My ideal pizza tends to be thin crust rather than thick, non-​greasy, and piled with variable but fresh ingredients. I enjoy white pizzas just as much as margheritas, cheese or cheeseless, and moderately sweet sauces. We went with one meat-​heavy pizza and one supreme, thick with peppers and tomatoes, a sprinkling of cheese, and a helping of crispy bliss. The grease factor was lower than usual, the flavour of the sauce sweeter than tart, and the crust chewy. I snagged two corner pieces rather than one of the softer inner belly, my favourite. Mmmmm…
Jet’s proved just the thing to watch fab British TV with, accented by a bit of sprinkled basil on top. As pizza goes, they are a simple, straightforward purveyor of square goodness. You won’t find haute flavours or odd pairings, but rather more traditional approaches. Sometimes the adventurousness is important, and for that, there are probably other restaurants excelling in fusion techniques. Sometimes you want a damn good pizza with the basics and their own twist: for that, Jet’s is the way to go.
This is a pizza a Time Lord would stop off for in between saving Earth and watching Rory get killed. Again. For the third time this episode. Man, I miss Rose!
