So far the food I’ve tried is good but they have a menu and half of the stuff isn’t even available to order because they claim the boss changed it up on them. If you don’t have the items than take them off!

Heard great reviews so we decided to try this on a whim. Hands-down the best food we have had in Fernley. There are a couple tables to eat at, but I would recommend getting food to go. They also do free delivery for orders over $ 20! The girls working there were SO nice and made our order very quickly as we sat and waited. we’ll be back for sure!

I wanted tandoori chicken but not a sandwich. Asked them if they could make me something. Owner said they could make it as a bowl. Very good chicken. Made it with rice and a salad. I will be back to try gyro plate too.

Every now and then I get a couple of Gyros from them. Always freshly prepared and tasty but I knock off a couple of stars because they use pre-packaged Gyro meat. Since they got a pizza oven they do offer for $ 1 extra to use pizza dough as the pita bread — a little doughy but not too bad.

Read the reviews and decided to try it. Everything was amazing. Some of the best sandwiches from a deli! We tried the BLAST, Reuben, and meatball calzone. The home brined pastrami was spot on, the meatballs in the calzone were full of rich Angus beef and some of the best I have EVER had. The bacon on the BLAST was delicious thick cut perfectly cooked and the flavor combinations great. Don’t let the 76 station fool you. The best part was the wonderful woman that helped us — gave recommendations and took such joy in making her delicious homemade bread, meatballs, and pastrami. Would definitely come back if this was my neighborhood!

I just ate what I’m pretty sure is literally the best Indian food I have ever had in my life, and I live in the bay area and have been all over the place. Everything made fresh, SUPER spicy if you want it, and the owners are incredibly sweet and charming. I wish there was an Indian restaurant this good in Oakland. No joke.

Fantastic gyros and pizza. They make their own sauce and dough, too. Very friendly folks :) They also deliver within Fernley city limits. We will for sure return!

I had very low expectations going into this but I do give them props for trying. I’ve had better gyros for sure. They do make their own pitas(which wasn’t cooked all the way and gooey in the middle). Meat wasn’t from a traditional rotisserie but from a frozen processed bag of «lamb» strips. I’ve had gyros in Athens, Greece so all else compares to those works of art. Nick’s Greek Deli, in Reno has the closest authentic Gyro.

Wow! What a find! Awesome Tandoori Chicken on Garlic Naan. Sauces are the real deal. Amazing but very juicy with fresh tomatoes and sauces! Lean over or wear it! Super nice couple run the place. Everything looked fresh and we will be back when in Fernley! Great selection of deli sandwiches also.

Stopped by here on the way to Burning Man on a lark, I mean Gourmet Deli at a 76? have to check this out! Glad that we did, had some of the best falafel I have ever had and the owner was a delight! Highly recommend checking this out, still thinking about it 3 weeks later and had to make sure I left a review so others can find this gem!

Attention Burning Man travelers: this place is HANDSDOWN the best food between Vegas and the playa. Don’t waste your time and money at Bruno’s…I will never eat anywhere else again on my way to/from TTITD! Short on ambiance(it’s a convenience store, with two plywood tables sandwiched between racks of NightBullet and cheap sunglasses) but extra-long on taste and value, this place serves wraps, sandwiches, salads and pizza — many of which are smelly-hippie-friendly: vegetarian, Indian, Greek, greens, etc. I’ve been here twice — once about 2 years ago, and then again today. I don’t remember what I ordered the first time(something with tandoori chicken, no doubt; it was great), but today I had the tandoori naan wrap. Fresh-baked naan, and lots of spicy juicy chicken. Not wanting to be TOO smelly-hippie, I also added a side of Jo-Jos(fried potato wedges). It was around $ 10 total, drink included(soda or water bottle). YUM! This place is SUPER conveniently located right on the 95 as you pass thru Fernley, and as a bonus you can gas up your rig one last time while you wait for your food to be cooked(it’s almost all cooked to order). Don’t be one of those idiots who gasses up in Gerlach — this place is cheaper, and way less crowded. As a final bonus, the proprietress was SUPER friendly and helpful… not even judging me for my sorry-ass excuse for a shirt(this was on my way back from Burning Man, and all my clothes were filthy, so I had to get creative with the only clean(ish) scarf I had left). I love this place and will definitely be back!

Unbelievable hospitality and some of the best gyros ever, using homemade bread. You wouldn’t think this caliber of taste at a gas station. Burner friendly and very accommodating, always willing to help.

I have to thank Unilocal for this one. I had no clue where to go in Fernley for good grub so I turned to Unilocal and I was not disappointed. Gourmet Deli in the 76 has the best gas station pizza I’ve ever had. It was fresh from the oven, loaded with melty ooey gooey cheese and the crust was brushed with olive oil and minced garlic. Minced Garlic! The pizza slices are so large(think Costco but possibly bigger) that they cut them in half and give them to you conveniently wrapped in foil. I flipped mine so the cheese was touching and ate it like a yummy wummy pizza sandwich. I didn’t make it through the whole thing but I came close and that’s a testament to the tasty!

Do not let the location or the initial first impression fool you. This place is FANTASTIC. The food is really tasty and seems to be mostly if not entirely home made. The owners and proprietors are unbelievably sweet and accommodating. They appear to specialize in their Greek dishes and seem to take great pride in them as well. I got their gyro which is flavorful and well made. My sister got chicken tandoori sandwich which she said was pleasantly spicy and that the tzatziki sauce and naan is awesome. My wife does not eat meat and the owner was all too happy to make her a specialty Greek style veggie melt that was not on the menu. All in all we would absolutely go here again.

Gourmet — Deli — Gas Station??? Not words you often see together at one location. I have been a here a couple of times when I needed to pick up some sustenance when working in Fernley. I had a deli sandwich with the traditional meat, cheese and veggie fillings on a bun. It was very large(good for two meals) with fresh bread, real meat and fresh veggies. Nothing spectacular, but good. For my most recent visit I ordered a «casadea». A pizza like dish using fresh Naan with your choice of cheese and meat baked in the oven and cut into wedges like a pizza. I got pepper jack cheese with Tandoori Chicken. It was really good and something really different. It was about $ 10, but the bread was freshly made(I watched while she rolled out the dough and shaped it) and the toppings were generous. Again, it was more than enough for two meals. The food is not«fast» and you usually have to wait five minutes or so to get your meal. Luckily, I have not been there when they are busy. There are a few tables at the front of the store to eat in, but not really the best option. I think the idea that this is «take-out» food. The owner is very friendly and takes pride in her cooking. So is it «gourmet»? Pretty close — for take-out food from a gas station.

I hate to go against the grain here because I love supporting local businesses. Been craving breakfast burrito for a while and have read/heard some good reviews about this place. But really, how good can food from a gas station be? I went and found out for myself. First visit, I ordered a bacon and sausage burrito. I was charged about $ 6 and change for it. Since I came in before 9am, I had to choose from the display case and it was reheated in a conventional oven for me. I don’t think they do made-to-order because there were a lot of burritos and other products in the case. I was asked if I wanted some salsa. Sure, why not? The salsa turned out to be pretty good, the burrito not so much. Second visit, I got the«extreme meat lover» for $ 7.99. Possibly the most expensive breakfast burrito from a non-sit down restaurant I’ve ever had. I had to choose it from the display case as well. It was enough food for two people so I guess their portions aren’t too bad…
