They need to train the staff better when taking order for people. The guy at the cash register didn’t ask me if I wanted sandwich or panini and chose sandwich for me. And he didn’t ask me what side that I wanted and picked something else for me. The bathroom only has two stalls. I have been to plenty of Panera Bread with much better experience than this.

Walked into this place now on to separate occasions where the restaurant wasn’t particularly busy but the order line was 5 deep and only one slow order taker. Waited 5 min and only one order taken. Irritated so walked around the corner to Starbucks and although busier order taken right away. Panera team should walk around the corner and take a lesson.

I just got turned on to the on line ordering option. I order from my phone and in ten minutes my meal is sitting with the other to go orders. I just take my bag and I’m on my way. No waiting in line, orders can be customized and each bag has napkins and utensils. Their salads are amazing, large and low in calories. The flat breads are also good. After so many orders, I get a «reward«I can use towards my next order. So quick and easy… Never wait in line again!!!

I really want to liked this place but the service is terrible and i feel i have to wait so long for food even when i am doing take out. To be honest the food is just being heated up and put into containers so it should not take long. There may be an issue with limited staff especially at night.

Fresh simple food. You can really taste the ingredients. Hearty soups. It surprised me how good is the food. Excellent service.

Beating the lunch crowd is tough… When you’re not working, then lunch is time to spend with friends and loved ones, leisurely… No rushing, no stress… Basically carefree. However, if you are trying to beat the rush of the office crowd, where one may have between 30 – 60 minutes for lunch, which may include clocking in and out, driving, falling in line, ordering and waiting for food, time becomes precious. Well, thank God panera has online ordering where you can order and(customize it), there’s also an app for the iPhone, and pick it up at their designated section. Such was my day today. I ordered online, told them what time I wanted to pick it up. I walked in at 12:10 and of course the lunch crowd was in line all the way to the door. I walked in, excused my self thru the hungry queue, picked up my order and left the scene. I must tell you, I felt like VIP. No lines, no waiting, in and out under 10 seconds…

As a first-timer to this Panera location, my expectations were already set. The staff was very friendly, particularly considering we showed up at about 8:15pm and they were closing up shortly. Bearing that in mind, we took our order to go and headed out the door. The wait for the food was short, and the order was accurate. What more could one ask for? Ah, the food was prepared well and tasty. Always a plus.

If I could give this Panera location 0 stars I would. We have been traveling through this area for years & have always stopped here. This place has gotten progressively worse each time Today was my final visit. The bathrooms & dining area were filthy. No napkins in the dining area & no TP in the ladies bathroom. This location is always busy & they don’t seem to have enough staff for the customer demand. The staff that was there moved like zombies. Definitely the worst Panera location I’ve ever visited.

Horrible service tonight waited 25 minutes to order tables were dirty and garbages were overflowing. Waited 25 minutes for our food. Crazy, worse experience ever at Panera.

Service is TERRIBLE!!! Want your sandwich? Be prepared to wait 20 minutes and your food is cold because the runners are talking about their weekends behind the counter! Not only are the workers not prompt with bringing out the food but when they bring it out your order is wrong! Panera bread is great but not worth the horrible service in the Fishkill venue!

the food is as panera good as panera good can get but what impressed me the most today was their customer service, I accidentally sent my online order to the poughkeepsie location but ended up in the fishkill location, they accommodated me and made my order right then and there instead, the manager and employee were so polite and nice! thank you!

I always enjoyed my meal at Panera until I ordered the Grilled Cheese sandwich. This way the worse sandwich. absolutely tasteless. There was too much bread, too little cheese and the sandwich was dry.

Standard Panera and on par with others that I have been to. The location is pretty large with lots of different kinds of seating: tables, couches(the fireplaces are especially nice on cold days!) Service was quick and although the line was long, the cashiers kept the line moving pretty well. Came with two friends and our order came out pretty quickly. I got the turkey chili bread bowl – warm and hearty, and perfect in the cold weather. This isn’t specific to this location, but I wish they would scoop out more bread in the bowl so that there could be filled more!

This is seriously the nicest Panera Bread ever. It’s crazy. Great customer service. No one screaming at you. Clean. Just very nice. Very fast service. It’s expensive but you should already know that. It was absolutely delicious.

I am a college recruiter and let me tell you, we are VERY familiar with Panera. It’s our go-to place as it offers variety, comfort, good prices and good food. I was hesitant to bother writing a review based on one bad experience, but if you don’t get feedback, how would you improve or build upon what you do well. I went in for take-out at around 6:30 pm. I ordered half asian sesame chicken salad and cup of french onion soup. The Positive: The salad was excellent. I have not had this one before and was very pleased with the quality. The young woman who took my order was very pleasant and even called attention to the fact that I had perks to use on my Panera account. The negative: The order took a little longer than I would expect, but that isn’t a huge deal. As I stood there, though, three people behind the counter were talking and one made a comment about having to mark sunflower seeds. Not many people are aware that sunflower seeds are often produced on equipment shared with peanuts and therefore could pose a risk to people with nut allergies. I just didn’t like the fact that she was so loud and rude about it. Finally…how do you screw up soup? I returned to my hotel to find my french onion soup was just that; soup. No cheese and no croutons included. The soup was inedible. After 2 – 3 spoonfuls, I came to the conclusion it was concentrated and threw it away. Too strong and salty to eat. Pay more attention to detail.

Still waiting for food after a half hour… Again. Two sandwiches… Wow. Never go here.

The Mediterranean chicken flatbread sandwich was mediocre and just a notch above flavorless. Our grilled chicken salad came without chicken. The employees were perfectly reasonable in responding and adding chicken to it, but really? It came with an apple that was mealy and dry. The kids menu includes yogurt(strawberry or blueberry) but I was surprised to see that it came in a plastic tube. Our 22-month-old toddler already uses utensils, so I was not a fan. Finally, there were no drinking straws to be found. After more than 10 minutes, someone put out jumbo drinking straws(like the kind you might find for tapioca-ball tea in Chinatown), which were fine. But how do you not have straws available? Next time, I’d try the pizzeria(or Five Guys) across Route 9, or the diner across Merritt.

Every time I come back I notice things are going down hill. They’re out of many things, no one is keeping up with the coffee, supplies and today the garbage was over flowing. By the time we left there was no room for anything else. I was stunned and had to take pictures.

This is the best Panera Bread I’ve been to, so I give it 3 ½ stars. The service is fast, and they deliver to your table. Had my first Panera Lobster Roll here. It was terrible, and you pay the price too. It was expensive and tasted nothing like a lobster roll is suppose to. That experience aside, the soup bowls and sandwiches are well made. Love their bakeries too to fix that sweet tooth of mine. It is usually packed when I go here on weekends, so if you’re not wanting to be seen, go else where. Love their IBM employee discount… wish I had an IBM employee ID card.

Wanting to encourage the option of vegan offerings for those who choose a plant based diet, The L. and I headed into our local Panera for lunch recently. I had seen on a website a list of options and decided to at the very least give them a try. I ordered the Mediterranean Veggie sandwich on three seed(minus the feta) with an apple and a freshly brewed unsweetened iced tea. The sandwich was fine just the right size and obviously made to order. The veggies were fresh and crisp when they needed to be and the bread was quite tasty. I had originally ordered what they called a Green Iced tea but it was a sweetened juice drink which I swapped out as it was not really my thing. The ambiance was fine, the employees friendly and the facilities clean. I would certainly go again when famished and running errands in the area. It was AOK in a good way, no bad really.
