This theater is very clean which is important to me. But I just can’t get by the price! Bought«2» tickets to see the Gambler. She said, «That’ll be $ 21″. I immediately said, » I only want 2″. She said there $ 10.50 a piece. I almost fell on the floor. Then she’s says, «There half price on Tuesday»! And that helps me how? I drive an extra 10 miles to go to this theater and then get«Ripped Off». We go to 2 movies a week all year round and the average cost is $ 6.50 to $ 7.50. The Newburgh theater is $ 6.50 all the time. The theater isn’t the cleanest one in the world but then it is Newburgh! And the price of pop corn and soda is great no matter which theater we go to. «$ 0» because we NEVERBUY a thing… And to all you who do, «SUCKERS». You wanna bring down the price, then you know what to do, Don’ t buy it you bunch of Morons. What did PT Barnum say? There’s a SUCKER born every minute. That’s all of you standing in line to buy stale pop corn at a jacked up price of about 250%. Gotta go. Going to see a movie for $ 6.50 period. Love it …

A decent movie theater close to where I live in the area. It great to go during the day when the kids are in school and the parent are at work. The lines might be short, but you may have to wait a bit if you have senior citizens in front of you. You pay right at the concession stand for tickets and if you want drinks and candy/popcorn just movie to the left to buy some. They use to have an arcade room, but now its a party room for kid’s birthday parties. While they do have some arcade games most of them are outside of this new party room.

Half price Tuesdays! Clean and quiet, only ever seen two employees at a time working, never been a problem though.

The Regal franchise is a rip-off! The only time I visit these theaters is only because someone gives me a gift card to use otherwise I don’t bother with this brand. I’ve been to the Poughkeepsie location which is easy to find. This location is not so easy, as I blew past the RT9 sign on the road after I got off the highway. If you miss the sign by the highway & have passed Walmart then you blew past it like I did. To add insult to injury after I found the correct entrance to drive thru I was circling around the parking lot wondering where the front door was which is smack dab in the middle of this very small shopping center that doesn’t even look like a shopping center. This is a really confusing shopping area. Long story short, after I found the place despite getting in free(from gift card) a water and box of candy cost me a whopping $ 9! One might think I’m a cheap bastard but that same exact combo across the river cost me $ 5. As for the theaters themselves I must admit are massive in size(at least the one I went into). Seating could hold about 1,000 people; no exaggeration. I found the seats to be very low with me looking up toward the screen as opposed to stadium seating where I’m looking straight ahead at the screen. Also don’t expect the seats here to recline even just an inch because they are completely stationary. Overall it wasn’t a complete nightmare except on my wallet as I could only imagine the damage it could cause taking the entire family out to the movies here. If this is the only option I’d say go for it but if you have better alternatives I’d suggest go elsewhere.

Old fashion is the phase for this theater. From the entrqnce to box office to the theater seating. Stale air because there is no fresh air flowing. Lucky no one else is in theater. lol Came to see ESCAPE on 17 Oct 2013 while visiting in N.Y.

Firstly, the location is called«Fishkill», not«Fishkikk» lol. But regardless, this location has not been renovated like its sister location in Poughkeepsie. The lobby looks exactly as it has since I was in high school in the late ’90’s. That didn’t bother me so much until I realized I was paying basically the same for a movie here as I was in Poughkeepsie. The problem with that is the sound quality as well as the seating are in desperate need for an upgrade. My suggestion would be to make the trek up to Poughkeepsie for any action film or related blockbuster, because you will be disappointed seeing it in this theater. Otherwise, enjoy yourself on a hot summer’s day or a cold winter’s night with your sweetie or your BFF(or both!) at this very basic, run of the mill, clean theater.
