nice people but awkward haircut by a sweet young stylist who was convinced she did a great job but in essence gave me a bad haircut which was covered up with products and blow drying… somewhat unprofessional environment as well with the other young hair stylist chatting and telling my stylist how wonderfully she was cutting my hair and overselling the haircut to me, smoke and mirrors type deal
they told me to come back if i needed anything changed… but i think not, i do not want to add another «layer» to the awkwardness
right now im looking to grow out the hideous layer bump at the back of my head (sigh)
and go elsewhere in dutchess county in the future for my hair needs

I have curly hair so I’m always hesitant to try someone new since I have a hard time finding anyone to give me a good cut, but I’m glad I gave them a try. Allison was wonderful and I could see before she even dried my hair that she did a good job cutting it!

Roy and his new staff are fantastic! I have never had a bad cut, color or style with this salon. Roy has amazing skills that he passes along to his staff. I have never received so many compliments on my hair before I went to Roy.
I have been living on Long Island for over two years and I continue to drive the 2 hours just to get my hair done… with Roy.
Give this salon a shot, you won’t regret it!

I went for a gel polish manicure. I didnt like the atmosphere of the place at all and didnt feel like I was a welcomed customer — either for my first try, second try or my final third try (I like to give everyone a couple of chances before I write them off).
My manicure was substandard — the gel peeled off within a week — Ive had them elsewhere and I know they last 2 – 3 weeks for me, so I was pretty disappointed.
