Been going here for many year. Without question, the best pizza in Flemington. If you like a crisp crust, a great combination of ingredients and a friendly staff; check it out. My favorite is the pepperoni pie, but if you are watching your calories, try the salad pizza. It’s great!

Stopped here on a weekend while out shopping. It was only a month ago, yet I had to put some effort into my recollection. I can’t remember what my partner had, or the reaction. I remember that I didn’t want to overdo it, or I’d be skipping dinner. So I went with the smaller size steak sandwich, no toppings/sauce/cheese. The portion size was pretty good, there was a fair amount of steak present. For the area, it was a decent sandwich. I saw some comments about the staff before visiting, expecting what I had read. Instead, I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. There are a lot of places to grab something to eat in Flemington. If you happen to be in the area, and are looking for something quick, I’d recommend giving them a try.

This is the best pizza in Flemington and probably Hunterdon County. I’ve been coming hjere on Friday nights for take-out for the past 3 years. My kids love the pizza and they always look forward to it. Other reviewers have said the service is blunt. Maybe this is true but the owners/workers have always been very, very friendly to me. If you want good pizza made by Italians, this is the place to go.

Awesome pizza! Everyone’s favorite is the salad pizza and it’s definitely a must have. Also they have great pasta – my personal favorite the penne vodka. There isn’t a lot of space to sit down inside, definitely a better spot for taking out food.

On a cold, grey, SPRING day at 32 degrees Fahrenheit, I was looking for lunch in the Flemington area. The biting wind, shortened my stroll and I came across Virami’s. The ambiance definitely the neighborhood feel. It was a weekday, so it was pretty empty. At first I was reluctant to make an order. But when my friend made an order for a slice of pizza and the guy behind the counter had an Italian accent, things seemed to be promising. At the same time, people seemed to trickle in and out to get a take out order. I decided to go with a stromboli and onion rings. It took a few minutes but it was worth the wait. The onion rings at $ 3plus come first and its done how I like it. I then get the stromboli but with no sauce?!. I’m hungry at this point so I eat half of my stromboli before I ask for the sauce. When I ask for the sauce, the guy goes to the stove and ladles it out of a big pot. This puts a grin to my face thinking, wow maybe this is home made or the kind an Italian mom would make. Now a fellow reviewer had said that the marinara sauce tasted like cigarettes while another reviewer said that the sauce put a smile on the person face. I am happy to say this sauce almost put me in the«Ratatouille» moment where the food critic gets whipped to his childhood meal when he takes a taste. This was close, but then maybe I was just hungry and this hit the spot. The stromboli($ 7.75 small) itself, had burnt sides, but did the job and the crust had the right amount of thickness which worked for me. If I am in the area, I am sure to visit again.

Stopped in last week when I was visiting a friend in the area. My boyfriend & I decided on subs rather than pizza, so I got the chicken parm & he got the cheesesteak. We were both happy with our food & the portion sizes. For a couple dollars more, we got an order of pretty good onion rings, too. The sauce on the chicken parm was tasty, not too sweet or too many herbs/spices, although there could have been a little bit more on it. The bread tasted fresh & was slightly crispy on the outside for that extra bit of crunch. The chicken in the chicken parm was not patties, but instead something like breaded breasts that had been fried & cut up into small pieces. My boyfriend ordered his cheesesteak plain… just meat & cheese. Nothing to hide the flavor under toppings or whatever. He took his first bite & gave me the«big eye» of pleasant surprise. He’s definitely a picky eater, but this was a hit with him. We sat at a booth, and I was surprised they brought the food to the table rather than just putting it up on the counter & calling us over, so that was a nice touch. They did not require payment up front, so I had to remind myself to go back & pay before we left. Just like the other reviews have stated, this is a small place with a small parking lot. We got there at a good time when there was not a full house. All in all a good experience. Maybe next time I’m in the area I’ll try their pizza.

Simple the best pizza in Flemington. Food portions are perfect. Staff is pleasant. Kitchen is CLEAN! When friends from North Jersey come here, they can’t get over that this is better Pizza then what they can get up north.

Tiny homegrown pizza joint that I discovered by accident while trying to find the bus stop at Liberty Village and realized I hadn’t eaten in a while. Very small parking lot, but the building looks cool, like an old log cabin. The inside is cozy and cramped with an open kitchen. Service was unfriendly and blunt, which was kind of a bummer, but the pizza was pretty good. Garlic knots were alright, for some reason the marinara sauce tasted like cigarettes. My girlfriend had a chicken cheese steak that was very tasty. I’ll probably come back at some point in my life.

One of the better pizzerias in Flemington. Everything is good, but my family and I usually get the salad pizza. Its the best salad pizza that I’ve ever tasted. Very fresh. Family run business, owners are great.

The pizza was great! The service was average. As soon as I walked in, I felt like I was intruding and since it was my first time I had no clue what the menu offered. The staff was not very helpful or friendly. I would recommend because of the pizza but the service was not as warm as other pizzerias in Flemington.

We stumbled upon this restaurant, after finding the business across the street had closed. It was a pleasant surprise and the pizza was excellent!

I went in there because I had heard that salad pizza was very good. I ordered that along with a slice of buffalo chicken pizza. I met the owner he was a really nice guy. They had a $ 10 minimum for credit card. My order came to a little over seven dollars and the owner let me slide. The buffalo pizza was very good. However, the salad pizza that I had come in there for was just not my style of food. I’m sure some people will absolutely love it. But I just was okay with it. It basically tasted like a submarine sandwich, but just on pizza. It definitely wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t for me. I would definitely go here again because the pizza overall is pretty good.

I am a huge fan of the pizza at Virami’s. Virami’s is located in downtown Flemington right next to Liberty Village and has been there for as long as I can remember. The parking lot is tiny, maybe 8 spots, so you may have to improvise. They make an excellent tomato basil pie with slices available all day, every day. This is one of the best pizzerias in Flemington.

Virami’s has been one of Flemington’s best pizzeria’s for almost two decades. The Illiano family have consistently worked to make their customers happy, ever since I can remember. Not to mention, the food is great. When I was a little kid, I lived on the same street as Virami’s, so I went there pretty often. Sometimes, I didn’t have quite enough money to pay for all my food, and Gino(the owner/head chef) would just smile and say«Don’t worry about it.» Those were the days. If you’re not in the mood for pizza(although I hope you are, because theirs is great), I highly recommend the Chicken Parm Sub. Virami’s makes one of the best I’ve had anywhere, and believe me, I’ve had about a hundred different versions of chicken parm. To top off the quality products and service, Virami’s is conveniently located in the heart of Flemington boro — Turntable Junction/Liberty Village. So, if it’s a nice day and you’re up for a stroll around a quaint little mom-and-pop style shopping center, Virami’s is the perfect way to top off the afternoon.
