Fabulous! We are here as a family of 4 and everyone’s meal was wonderful. Highly recommend for authentic Mexican food.

Truly delicious food. Great friendly service. Great value. We ate combination plates and quesadilla, and both were tasty and filling. On plates we tasted the chili rellano, chicken, ground beef and cheese enchiladas, ground beef and chicken tacos, and guacamole. Everything was seriously savory. The beef was spicy but not over taking; the chicken was all white and packed in the enchilada and the taco. The refried beans was also great. We usually huge a place by guacamole and salsa. The Salsa was okay because some like it prepared the way it is here. For me, I like it chunkier for the onion and cilantro flavored strong. They also bring a green tomatillo sauce that is very flavorful, and I liked it better. We had the niece is the owner wait on us, and she was very friendly telling us she was here to make money for the summer because her husband was deployed to Afghanistan from Arizona. Wonderful late lunch place.

Love, Love, Love their Chile Rellenos! Moved to Oregon from Southern California, and this is by far, one of the best Mexican restaurants around. The staff is wonderful and the food is above my expectations! Prices are more than fair! On a sunny day, try out the Patio and do some people watching while you’re there!

Went there twice on the way down the Oregon coast, I absolutely recommend stopping there for a taste of their delicious meals. You get a plate of complimentary nachos every time and their staff is just lovely. Their wet burritos are amazing and the prices are more than fair. Top place!

Not the best Mexican food I’ve had but certainly not the worst. This spot is pretty small and during my visit it was packed. I had the chicken burrito and man, it was filling but bland. The pates we got were not very clean. The chips and salsa was pretty good and fresh.

My family and I wanted to try something new while visiting Florence. The service we received was amazing. The wonderful individuals working here were very personable, genuine, and vibrant. My wife and I both ordered the Chicken Enchilada and Tamale combination plate and it was delicious. Very comfortable feel. Something we were really looking for and were fortunate enough to find. Don’t sleep on Los Compadres — you won’t be displeased.

Date of service: May 23, 2015 Meal: Dinner, dine in All Ratings out of 10: Quality of food: 8 Food to Spend Value: 9 Quality of Service: 7 Overall Rating: 8 I am consistently disappointed by the lack of great Mexican food in the Pacific NW, but every now and then I am pleasantly surprised. When traveling to Florence for vacation, I read some great reviews for Los Compadres, so I decided to take the family there for dinner. The restaurant was small and could definitely be classified as a «hole in the wall», but I generally find this to be a good thing for a Mexican restaurant. Burritos are generally one of my measuring sticks for how good a Mexican restaurant is, so I decided to order a carne asada burrito. The burrito was quite large and was stuffed to capacity with marinated skirt steak, beans, rice, tomato, onion, guacamole, and sour cream. I had the option of ordering it wet or dry, and I went with the wet option which meant it was served covered in a red sauce. I can’t imagine not having it wet as it was so good smothered with sauce! The steak in the burrito was very tender and quite flavorful, and the melding of all ingredients delivered a punch that made my taste buds jump for joy! I would definitely recommend this burrito to anyone. My son ordered shredded beef tacos. They are essentially Mexican street tacos, complete with the double corn tortilla, shredded beef, tomatoes, onion, and cilantro. The tacos were fantastic, from the tender beef, to the amazing corn tortillas, to the freshness of the rest of the ingredients. I liked the burrito better, but the tacos definitely held their own. Though the place was small, the owners made sure to seat us all comfortably, though this did require splitting our group of 7 into 2. The service definitely felt family-like, making the entire dining experience very enjoyable. The food was fantastic, the prices were reasonable, and the portions were great. If you are in Florence and looking for a Mexican fix, I can highly recommend Los Compadres.

I don’t know what everyone is raving about with this place. The food was bland, salsa was NOT salsa, and the margaritas tasted like watered down, kool-aid. Yes, the service was fast, staff were very friendly, but I wasn’t there to mingle. I was there to EAT great Mexican food. VERYDISAPOINTED!!! I have had better Mexican food at a Japanese Sushi Restaurant. Don’t waste your money!!! Keep driving!!!

I honestly feel like all these reviews were faked… it was horrible. Not even the margarita was good. Food was soggy and unseasoned. Chips and salsa was literally disgusting. I’m sorry people, you’re doing it wrong.

Bomb Mexican food! Super authentic, GREAT service, and a huge selection of burritos, enchiladas, tacos, and more! I would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for Mexican food or just a delicious lunch/dinner in town. Chile verde burrito — so good!

Los Compadres Taqueria is a wonderful restaurant. The atmosphere is diner-esque and intimate, there are about six tables set up total, but it isn’t too noisy or crowded. The service was not only prime, but also fun and entertaining. Joking around with the waitress was one of the highlights. As for the food, it was all delicious. The refried beans tasted great, and so did the chimichanga I ordered, the spicy enchilada sauce was flavorful and not TOO spicy. They also serve the best mole I’ve had in a long time. THATSALSAWASAMAZINGTOO. I love it here. This deserves all five stars.

The food here is phenomenal. Don’t listen to anything else. We are from Southern California(near the Mexico border) where authentic Mexican food is abundant. This place is literally one of the top 3 Mexican places we’ve ever eaten at(and we’ve had a lot of Mexican food). Come here for delicious authentic eats, fantastic margaritas and warm friendly service. Leave your fancy clothes at home, this is a comfortable family feel restaurant.

I am super picky when it comes to Mexican food. Los compadres luckily met my standards. I got the enchiladas de jaiva(crab) and ate every last bit. Others in my party tried the carnitas, carne asada, and the chile verde and no one left hungry. Delicious food and friendly service. si está buscando comida mexicana riquísima, tiene que comer aquí! Las enchiladas son buenísimas! Esta restaurante no falta nada. Gracias los compadres!

To begin, I ordered Margarita’s made from scratch and was specific that I did not want bar mix. Well got bar mix. Enchilada’s were pretty good as was chimichanga. But chips were not fresh and what they call salsa was in squirt bottles. Not my idea of salsa. Not sure how this place gets 4 star reviews. We last ate here quite a few years ago and would not have gone back except it was getting very good reviews. Not sure why except there are not really any good mexican restaurants in Florence.

Got there late 8:35pm but wanted to try it because of the great reviews. It was excellent food just like it said, and the people working there were extremely friendly and helpful. My son had 2 tamales and my wife and I split a Camarones aka Crema — top quality but the Crema sauce was unbelievable — best I have ever had. Creamy and so rich, it tasted like it had cream cheese or something in it. Lots of fresh green peppers, mushrooms, and big, delicious shrimp. Wonderful!

We are in town for two weeks and Los Comprades was recommended by a local. It’s a little hole in the wall place that serves some of the best Mexican food we’ve had anywhere in the country. My wife’s tamale and chili relleno combination plate was huge and delicious, and my crab enchiladas were worth a trip to the coast all by themselves. The great chips and salsa just added to the experience.

Very good. Excellent service. Very tasty food. We spent the day hiking and sand boarding and we were looking for a casual restaurant with good food. This fit the bill perfect. We started with the chicken nachos they were very good. Fresh chicken, cheese, sour cream, and guacamole. Excellent. The carne asada dinner was excellent. Both my wife and daughter enjoyed this dinner. My son had the chicken burrito and described it as the best he has ever had. Don’t forget the margaritas they were deciduous.
