Stopped in here for lunch while we were in town, and so glad we did. I had the chili verde burrito which was delish. Service was awesome, prices aren’t too bad, and even the bathroom was clean. I’d definitely eat there again next time I’m in the area.

Great food. Quick service. Friendly staff. Clean & tidy place. Open on thanksgiving — it was the only restaurant open on the entire street. Definitely worth trying the super nachos!

I ordered dinner here to go the other night… I had carne asada Taco’s and my wife had chicken incheladas. It was the best Mexican food we’ve had in years!!!

Excellent service and more than excellent food quality. Best enchiladas I’ve had in a LONG time. Beans taste very authentic and salsa was incredible. Highly recommended for a Mexican lunch.

This place would always make my favorite burrito for me even though it wasn’t on the menu. They make the best Mexican food in town, no question.
I’m leaving this town and this will be the only restaurant in town that I’ll miss.
Not only is the food on point but so is their service. Every time.

We really enjoyed our lunch here while visiting Florence. A very comfortable and tidy restaurant with exceptionally friendly and attentive service. The salsa and hot chips were wonderful and our plate of cheese enchiladas were delicious.
Just as we finished our lunch, a complimentary dessert of whipped cream and cinnamon arrived at our table. Now, that’s a truly sweet surprise!

From having the perfect amount of change to letting us borrow a phone charger to staying open late for 4 sweaty, tired customers, Ixtapa exceeded expectations. And then they served our food.
I would absolutely recommend this location. Not just because of the delicious flavors and amount of food but because the staff was unbelievably friendly and so helpful and attentive to all of our asks– no matter how ridiculous they were. Chicken nachos with a quarter served on a separate plate? Done. Spanish coffee with extra whipped cream and two straws? Done. Split the check three ways? Done. $ 18 in cash to exchange for quarters? Duh.
We should’ve asked them to break a sweat.

Stopped here after a long hike around Heceta Head. We were promptly seated and served with a handshake and a smile! Chips, salsa and ice water were immediately served. Chips were warm and the salsa homemade (and it was good!). I ordered the Ixtapa combination plate, which had chicken crema and a chicken chimichanga. It was delicious and huge portions, so I had left overs! My friend ordered the shrimp salad and it was full of nice big shrimps! The only complaint is that we ordered smoothies and they tasted very sweet and artificial. They were more like a slushy with a dollop of whipped cream on top. Service was impeccable; our chip basket was never empty and our salsa never ran dry!
It was Mother’s Day so I was given a rose and chance to enter a drawing and I won a $ 5 coupon for my next meal there!
