Came in with my husband and kids 7 and 9 never having been here before. Staff was professional and courteous. They have a simple menu of soups, salads and sandwiches. They offer full service bar and bottled specialty sodas. We ordered chicken sliders, which my husband says were 20x better than any he had ever had before. We ordered all 3 soups they offered today, Bean with ham, their take on clam chowder and a Tomato soup. All were unique and delicious. I ordered the Turkey avocado bacon sandwich and it was like nothing I have ever had. Very tasty. Our kids got the Grilled cheese and Kosher Hot Dog. Our daughter wasn’t thrilled with the grilled cheese, but only because she likes cheddar and this was a mix of gouda and white cheddar. I tried it and think it was tasty. Son loved his grilled hot dog :-) Price was common for this part of town. With 2 sodas and 3 alcoholic beverages the total bill was $ 55 for the 4 of us. We will be back!

Holy wow! I created a Unilocal account to write this, my first ever review. Old Town Florence has always been somewhat boutique and somewhat antique. This includes the food, where Moe’s and Beachcombers have settled upon their reputations and mediocre service. Enter Riverside to save the day! Riverside’s menu could easily be found in a trendy area of Portland or near campus in Eugene. They had 3 soup options, a big a cheap beer list and it is obvious everything there is made with love. If you go to Florence and you’re thinking chowder don’t think Moe’s think Riverside! You will find yourself having a new experience that you will want to come back and tell your friends about.

Wow! What an extraordinary restaurant to discover on Bay Street. It’s not often you find healthy, delicious food when dining out. Well, this is it! The homemade tomato ginger soup made with coconut milk was superb, and the clam chowder was one of the best I’ve ever had (not pasty). The lamb gyro was very good with amazing seasoning. The owners and staff are friendly, and the whole dining experience here is definitely five stars. Don’t pass on this restaurant. You won’t be sorry.

I just had the best cup of ham, bean and veggie soup, followed by chicken pesto sliders that were so tasty. The pretzel bun makes the sandwich. The service is awesome — everyone was friendly and I will definitely be back!

Every item on the menu is a taste extravaganza! Wonderful combinations for herbivores and omnivores. This is a family run restaurant– from Pa’s garden fresh veggies and Julie’s wonderful desserts to Blaise’s perfect martinis and Melonie’s salad creations. Chefs Kory and Airole keep the quality consistent. Add in the view and ambiance and you can’t go wrong!

Very family oriented restaurant with a full bar and a pool table … I’m not sure how they pulled this off but it’s nothing less than brilliant !!!
