After a big let down by Lenscrafters, I practically gave up on glasses. Allow me to tell you that story first. Bought some glasses from LC. Went back several times for adjustments. Each time the workers act as if I was a nuisance. The pair they recommended were too small and didn’t fit my head. Went to Sears Optical last week. Staff member picked out a pair of carbon fiber Ray-bans. I got anti-glare, transitional, one year warranty and anti-scratch for half what I paid at LC and those glasses were basic. Went back today to make some adjustments. The lady there took her time and was very concerned about my comfort. After maybe 7 minutes she made them perfect. I actually can wear glasses now. I also want to add that I didn’t even use my insurance because the promotion they were running was just that much better. Four out of five members in my household wear glasses. I know where I’ll be taking them for now on.
