Cici’s Pizza

Went in to this CiCi’s today with a friend around 5pm for dinner after work. We went up to order to an unfriendly face who didn’t say a word until I ordered a buffet and he said «Drink or no drink» I said what he said «drink or no drink» and I said drink, that was the whole conversation between me and the cashier. After grabbing my cup, and heading down to get pizza i noticed there was about 4 total slices on the whole table/​line up. I attached a photo, the lady informed me about 5 minutes and they’ll have more pizzas she put one pizza out and it was gone before I could get up by all the other patrons, I ended up waiting about 15 minutes for a pepperoni pizza to be placed up and I got a slice and I was so mad I didn’t even ask for them to make me a pizza.

My friend and I have been coming to cicis pizza for years for one reason only; the Mac and cheese pizza. It is the highlight of our week when we go, but this time around, it was awful. The pizza was bland, lacked cheese, and was an overall disappointment that ruined our evening. I would love to say we will be back, but if we experience a pizza like this again, it’ll be hard to come back to this store.

It’s a pizza buffet. Food is pretty good especially since they changed up but heir sauce and crusts. Now if they could only get rid of that old shoe taste in their Bavarian cream pizza. Or better yet, go steal the desserts from Pizza Inn.

When giving 5 stars, the wording is «Woohoo! As good as it gets!». Well I’ve been to many many CiCi’s location in the course of my life and THIS location with the current management is certainly «As good as it gets!» The service is impeccable, the give back to community is more than any other give back in this community (much of it happens behind the scenes, but I see it firsthand), and the love for people and serving people is remarkable. The food is good for CiCi’s and my kids LOVE it! But I just found out that this CiCi’s is now losing the most remarkable of leadership! If there is any way at all to keep him, we need to do that as a community! Nobody else will do what he does!

Went to Spirit Night for my kids. I’m reminded why I haven’t been to Cici’s in over 10 years. The pizzas taste terrible and the dough is tough.

Went there today for lunch. The place looks old. I was greeted by a door that is falling apart. Booths are falling apart and the walls could use a paint job. The pizza was ok. I haven’t been there for awhile, so I was surprised to see a soap opera on the TV that used to be CNN or Fox News. Now I know why there weren’t many little kids. The young guys behind the counter were as interested in the teen girls as helping at the cash register. Lights burned out and a dirty ceiling. Probably won’t be back.

I love this location. My son loves this location as well. Great prices, super clean and the management makes it a point to get out and meet their customers! The staff has gone above and beyond to help us out on every visit. Some restaurants around here should take notes!

I quit going to Cici’s pizza many years ago. The last time I went was to Main st Lewisville Cici’s and decided never again.
A couple of months ago, I reluctantly went to Flower Mound Cici’s after a lot of coaxing from my husband and kids. Guess what, it was amazing!!! The staff is very friendly and most important to me, a very clean restaurant.
How about the food? Good spread! The best part is you can have a custom made pasta or just meat and veggie casserole for no extra charge. Wow!!! My kids can eat all the pizza they want and I can have a healthy casserole.
I love Flower Mound Cici’s Pizza now. Friendly, Clean and great food!!!

I like places that give you exactly what they advertise. The pizza is good, the price is great, and they will make any pizza you ask for and deliver it to your table. The fact that it is a buffet is helpful in filling that vast hole in my kids stomach. The staff is efficient, friendly and the place is always clean.

Tonight my boyfriend and I went to this Cici’s because of a Groupon deal I had purchased. The Groupon was $ 9 dollars for a buffet for two and two drinks, which was advertised as a $ 15 value. Great right? Well when we arrive the cashier tells me that I still have to pay $ 10.27 after I showed her my groupon.
After expressing my concern that my Groupon should cover both dinners (aside from tax) the cashier calls the manager over. The manager explains to me that the Groupon only covers 1 dinner and that I still have to pay for the other dinner plus two drinks. Ummmmm what? So I pay the $ 10.27 and go sit down to re-​look at my Groupon on my phone. It clearly states that the value of the Groupon is for 2 dinners and 2 drinks for a value of $ 15.48. Plus, not to mention that all together I ended up paying more for the 2 dinners and 2 drinks than it would have cost if I hadn’t even used a Groupon.
So once again I speak with the manager and I argue with him for a few minutes. He whips out his calculator and tries to convince me he is right when clearly he isn’t. Eventually he says he will go ahead and refund me the $ 10.27 that I paid on top of my Groupon. He then proceeded to explain to me that pulling up my Groupon on my phone is not the correct was to use my coupon. Overall I was blown away by the complete lack of knowledge of Groupon. It upsets me that this location of Cici’s probably ripped off multiple people tonight that used the same Groupon.
I will never go back.

Wear loose pants because their food and pizza is addictive. Best pizza buffet for the price.

Popular with the kids, i like this store because of their staunch support of the schools and community. They always give back!

They brought back the Alfredo sauce and I’m super happy about that. I agree with another review. On the Cici’s scale this place is great.

Very upsetting experience.
I got my pizza and went to the drink station. I slipped and looked down and was standing on some ice cubes. I pull my drink away from the ice machine and ice keeps coming out. I pulled the lever that the glass normally goes against, toward me, and the ice stopped. I took my plate of pizza and drink to the front counter where Evan the Manager, was taking a to-​go order. When he was through he asked if he could help me and I told him about the ice machine and that it was dangerous — somebody could fall and he said – I quote, «Yeah, we’ve been having trouble with it.» No thanks, or I’ll take care of it. I sat down and watched him. He tended to the buffet line, he went and boxed up the to-​go order and brought it to the front counter and opened each of three pizza’s for the customer to see. After almost 8 – 10 minutes, he went and picked up the ice, mopped and put a yellow sign up (slippery when wet sign).
The next thing I know I hear a blood-​curdling scream — -a child of about 8 – 10 years old is laying on his back beside the ice/​drink machine and screaming. The whole place is on their feet – the parents are there in a second, the manager gets a towel — –a male picks the child up and the group heads for the door with the towel wrapped around the child’s leg. The mom says to the boy, «Your leg is not broken, it’s cut honey.» Out the door they go.
Well Evan doesn’t waste any time with the buffet line or to-​go orders now — he’s got his cell phone out taking pictures of the area and calling someone, I heard him say…“I had the signs out.” I went up to him and asked if the child slipped on the ice and he said,“No, I went and mopped it up after you told me and the kid was running down the buffet line and fell.” Evan was in full «documentation mode» at this point. NOW he has an employee stationed at the ice machine.
There were plenty of employees available to keep one at the ice machine to manage this problem BEFORE the kid fell. The place was not busy. Even after I reported the issue, Evan could have asked one of the staff to go immediately attend to this issue but he didn’t. He was already aware of the issue and was letting the ice fall on the floor. Technically, he’s probably covered since he had just tended to the problem and put the signs out… morally, he should have given this issue his full attention much sooner and gotten the ice machine fixed and kept an employee stationed at the machine to keep customers safe.
I was not finished with my meal but when this happened, I was so upset I couldn’t finish.
**Update**The owner of this location has responded to my email and I am assured that the manager will prioritize differently in the future to ensure safety comes first. I appreciate the owners kind response.

I won’t bore you with a review of their buffet, we all have our own opinions on that. (But darn-​it, i do miss their cheeseburger pizza)
And I do agree with Richard, it is really clean and large and the folks are super nice.
I just want to point out that the have a pretty good «to go» pizza (not sure if the price is the same at all locations) that is cheaper and larger than Little Caesar’s across Long Prairie.
I do like choices…

Cheap and tasty. Simple pleasures, man. And they are always so friendly.

Cici’s Pizza? 4 Stars? You’re probably thinking, how in the hell did Richard give this place 4 Stars?!
Well, I’m comparing this place to OTHER CiCi’s Pizza Restaurants, not to some place like i Fratelli or something. So yeah, with that said, I’d rather go to this CiCi’s in Flower Mound versus the location on Main Street in Lewisville anyday. The one in Flower Mound is so much cleaner and the guy behind the register is really freakin’ friendly.
For a few bucks, it’s a pretty good deal for all you can eat pizza.
So yeah on the CiCi Pizza scale… 4 out of 5.
