Nothing special about the food. The interior of the restaurant is gorgeous– I wish they put that much effort into the food. Waiter was an absentee. Took my order quickly, dropped of the bill a while later and then I didn’t see him for another 10 minutes– mind you this was lunch time and I needed to get back to work. 10 minutes after you’ve dropped off the check is a long time. I was border line walking out on the bill because I had to leave and only had a credit card. He showed up in the nick-of-time but too close for comfort.

3 of us ordered a vodka martini and when it arrived the glass was less than half full. We mentioned across the street at Salernos they fill them to the top. The bartender came over and explained that management directs the measurements and after talking to them decided to bring a shot glass more for each of us. If your charging $ 10 for each drink(almost the cost of an entrée) it should be filled to the top. If not then get smaller martini glasses. This was one of our favorite places but now our business will go across the street from now on.

The bread and the house dressing is to die for. I could make either a complete meal. The remainder of the food is just average Italian fare. It’s «ok», but nothing great. Didn’t like their style of pizza, and it just didn’t taste good to me. The middle-aged guy(who usually waits tables mid-day) is rude and unfriendly. Very consistent with all the other comments on Unilocal about poor service here. If one of my co-workers asks me to go here, I go. Otherwise, it’d never be a place I would choose on my own.

While we were seated quickly, the service was slow in getting us our main course. We ordered Eggplant Florentine and Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo — both were fine, but nothing special. Overall it was an OK meal.

We visited on a weeknight, actually pretty early, about 5:30. Love the décor and ambiance. Our waiter, Seni, was pleasant, although a little rough(a Southerner observing a Northerner). He didn’t hear my father when he placed his order and when we asked where his food was, he almost got a little argumentative. He did bring a salad for him on the house. But as the place filled up for dinner, we lost his attention completely. Maybe they need more help here? Manicotti and Canilloni dishes were very good, as was my Caesar salad.

We recently had a bridal shower at Bari’s in there back room dining area. The ambiance was great. Ozie the owner’s son assisted in the set up which was very helpful for me. The waitress Sonja and waiter were also very helpful and eager to make sure everyone had what they wanted to eat and drink. It was a great time had by all! They have the best Italian food and atmosphere in Flo Mo!!!

This was our first and last time in Bari’s. First clue was that at 6PM on a Tuesday evening the place was virtually empty. I’ll just say that cleanliness does not seem to be a priority for them. We decided not to stay and won’t return. BTW, we did alert the Management.

This was not my first visit to Bari’s, but it’s been a long time. It was remarkably slow for a Saturday afternoon and dinnertime. That was nice since we were there to catch up with friends and could easily speak to each other. Our friends go there a lot and say that they used to have a very busy happy hour. They still have happy hour, but I’m not sure why it’s now slow. I had a pepperoni calzone. It’s huge for 1 person, 2 of our friends finished off my leftovers. It was delicious. I asked for their pink sauce instead of tomato sauce and that was wonderful. Attentive bar tenders, friendly service. The atmosphere is quaint and nice. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Yay! I’m a fan.

I’ve tried this restaurant several times and just always find it sub-par. They have a few other locations, one being in my hometown which I always loved. It seems this location’s food just isn’t as good. On a positive note, the service is always nice and the atmosphere is great, always very clean.

First time at Bari’s…we were not impressed. Bread was good. The other food and service were just so so. We won’t go back.

I am originally from New Jersey/New York, so I know what a good pie is. Upon arrival in Texas, I have learned that many pizza places around here leave much to be desired with their fake pizza ovens. However, my family and I greatly enjoy Bari’s pizza as well as their hot subs. The atmosphere is also friendly and pleasant so I heartily recommend this restaurant to those who like New York style pizza.

I had better hopes for this place. I came here with my Kids. The place was nice, and our server was great. We ordered 2 Chicken dishes, and the Chicken was WAY over cooked and completely dry. I wasnt impressed at all. My kids had the lasana and that tasted pretty good.

Just love this place. Running like crazy today and just had time to pop in for a quick lunch. Excellent pasta, meatballs, rolls, salad served quick and friendly. In and out in just over 30 minutes and cost less than $ 10 with tip. Clean, classy and consistent!

Don’t bother. Nice décor is all I can say. Ok so we were given menus covered in food on the inside. Only 6 customers there when walked in. No mood music. Waitress delivered 2 rolls and when they were gone was there super fast to remove the basket but did not offer any more rolls. When we received our food we were hoping for higher quality. My chicken looked to be pounded flat on the inside. I realized after cutting in its a chicken breast from a frozen freezer bag. Angel hair was from the box and mushrooms were canned. My husbands lasagna we swear was stouffers just reheated in the microwave. Again superb fast removal of plates and desert was offered. Service felt rushed. We could hear every phone call the waitress took up front. Including a call about an employee not coming into work today followed by her call to the manager. We sat in the middle of the restaurant. Another bad sign is seeing the owner’s boat parked behind the restaurant and seeing the goody’s truck there delivering alcohol not a distributor. Now we know why the wine is so expensive.

We eat at this place often so i was excited to go with my friends for a Xmas get together, we were a large group of 16+ we sat for a while to het someone to come for drink orders then it took for ever to get them. My friend was over charged for her wine bottle. The dish i normally order was not as great and cold i already purchased gift cards now i am skeptical to go their again. I hope they do not screw up again.

Okay so… Bari’s gets mixed reviews and I get it, the service is not always the best. However there is one thing Bari’s does better than any Italian place in the area… Sauces their sauces are amazing, so make sure to try a dish that features a sauce of any kind and you will not be disappointed. The cheese bread is good too, and they have an acceptable wine selection. Me and my wife prefer Bari’s for Italian close to home.

Food wasn’t bad, lobster ravioli was pretty good. Service was definitely the worst part. Server was obviously new and management did nothing to help. Told the server it was our celebration dinner for both my husband’s birthday as well as mine. He said he would check with management. Gave us our check and I said guess you guys don’t do anything for birthdays? He said the manager was supposed to come talk to us and he would go ask. Then comes back, drops the check and says we don’t offer discounts and walked away. Not to mention my husband was almost done with his meal by time the pizza came for my Mom and me to share.

Happy to review a great Local place in flower mound. Bari’s is great American Italian food. My family and I have eaten here and carried out pizza here a number of times. Last time was in may of 2014. We ate in and got 2 pizzas– The first was a large sausage and jalepeno(My oldest and I like the same thing). The second was an onion, pepper, spinach, black olive mushroom, tomato on one half(My wife likes to put every vegetable known to man on her pizza) and the other half was a Canadian bacon and pineapple. Each person gets their own half in our family. The crust was a thin crust that was crispy on the bottom. Which is very had to do when there are so many veggies that have the potential to make it soggy. All of the items on the pizza were large and fresh. It was absolutely delicious. The food comes out quick! And you can get a cold beer to wash it down. Last time we were there, I swear– it looked different. Was there a remodel? The décor looked different to me somehow. The booths were a deep, dark brown. This neighborhood restaurant has become really classy and Godfather like! Go Bari’s! I won’t add pics, since there are so many great ones.

I must agree with other reviews… The Caprese salad was awful! Do not waste the $ 8! The service was overly attentive and rushed — we ordered wine — had a salad and entrees and the check all in 40 minutes… Not exactly a relaxing experience. The waiter stopped by the table constantly! At the end of dinner we paid and signed the check — but still had a glass of wine — that we planned to enjoy. Two minutes later the waiter came in a literally grabbed the check from under my husband’s arm… But he didn’t bother to clear the dirty plates. That all being said — the gluten free pizza was great! ;) my husband enjoyed his pasta dish. My advice… Food is good — service is rushed and awkward. Get takeout and relax while you eat at home.
