Loved the pizza! A little hard to find but very friendly staff and enjoyed our first time there.

First timer here. I have been curious and decided to try it with a Groupon. First, they offered me a burnt pie. They offered to remake and offered me a slice. I should have known better. This is the worst pizza I have had in years It was tasteless and greasy. We ordered a salad. It was just as bad. It was supposed to be a Ceaser salad clearly it was not that. Don’t waste your money. It plain socks.

Amazing calzone. Pepperoni and sausage were very delicious and the cheese was perfect. They even threw in a free soft drink some I was waiting. The Cesar salad needed more dressing though

The service was terrible. The waiter didn’t come to our table once, and while we waited a long time for our food, we saw a group of people leave that had been waiting to give their order for even longer than us. The pizza was a little greasy, but overall it was good.

Love this pie. Great flavor and service. Wood fire pizza is the best pizza and in Flower Mound, you can’t beat Tony. Try it and you’ll know why I keep coming back to this hidden spot. The Margherita is my favorite. I’ve also tried the Meat Pie. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. I always say I’ll try the wings next but never get to order them. Delicious, fast and very convenient since it’s 3 minutes from my house. Highly recommended.

Not overjoyed with the pizza here. The crust was soggy in the middle. The flavor seemed like there was something missing for the kalua pork. Rather bland. However, the mozzarella was nice on the pizza. Cannoli was alright but was plain cheese drizzled in strawberry sauce.

We were driving through the area and the«Wood Fired Pizza» sign caught our eye from the road, come to find out it was 2 minutes before closing but the guy at the counter offered to make us a pizza for take out if we’d like. It was so nice of him to offer since we effectively made them stay late and he even set us up with styrofoam plates, napkins, and to-go cups so we could eat in our car. They really went above & beyond in customer service! Our pizza was flat out AMAZING. We ordered the Crispy Prosciutto and everything was so fresh and baked to perfection. Absolutely the best wood fired pizza we’ve ever had in the DFW area. Looking forward to returning next time we’re in Flower Mound! Edit: Ended up coming back two days later, we couldn’t get this place out of our heads! For one, this pizza leftover warms up just as good as it tastes when you ordered it(tip: once you’re done reheating, crisp up the crust in a hot pan for perfection), we purposely ordered too much this time so we’d have some to take home. This time we had the Kalua Pork pizza and a Caesar salad to share – both were absolutely incredibly delicious and the flavors of both were perfect and creative. The owner also brought us some garlic cheese bread since we ate in the restaurant this time, I’d highly recommend it! The pizza chef was chatting with us as we left(these guys are seriously SO nice) and said they make everything fresh daily including their mozzarella and sauces. Boy, can you tell! I can’t rave about this place enough, if you’re in the area and looking for a mind blowing pizza check this one out!

Was in a short visit to F. M area. Stumbled upon this place by accident. a quick Unilocal look up sealed the deal! Ordered the ceaser salad and vegielicious pizza, both were so good! Ceaser salad was the best ever! Thank you to all you Unilocalers for the reviews, so I didn’t have to miss this place.

I’d never ordered from here before. My friend and I had the crispy prosciutto pizza and two small Caesar salads. My friend who is from the Bronx said it is definitely New York style. I can’t speak to the authenticity but I know it tasted wonderful! Will certainly order from there again! Glad to have found this!

The owner of the restaurant is a great man! He takes pride in preparing food. His presentation is beautiful and the food is delicious. There isn’t anything I have tried that I didn’t like. Chef Tony is always very much a gentleman and will insist on helping by hand carrying takeout to your car(time allowing of course). He has been heard offering waiting patrons something to drink while they wait. It is such a nice, pleasant place to come and have a meal! It’s wonderful to have something different here in Flower Mound. Also they deliver and their prices are very, very reasonable!!!

Tried this place out for lunch this week. I came with a large group of 10 and they did a great job taking care of us. Prices are a little high but the pizza is delicious and made with quality, fresh ingredients. We were all very impressed. Every person in our group enjoyed their food and said they would return. We ordered cheese bread(by recommendation of our waiter) to start and then I had the Wicked Chicken pizza.

Easily the best pizza we’ve had in DFW area! We had the BBQ chicken and we’re pleasantly surprised when I learned that ALL of their bacon was turkey! i also found out that we ordered after they had closed and they STILL took our order!!! Big fans!

We enjoy going to the Flower Mound Moviehouse down the road, but have become extremely burnt out on their menu. The next time we had tickets, we decided to look for places to eat at beforehand instead which is how we came across Chef Tony’s. It’s on the smaller side with around ten dine in tables, but all are covered in linens creating a cozy and welcoming feel. We were the only people there as most everyone else was calling for delivery. The employees were extremely hospitable, telling us to make ourselves comfortable as they handed us glasses for the soda fountain. We were starving so we ordered a Caesar salad and a large pepperoni and roasted garlic pizza to share. The salad was not what we expected. It’s presented like a wedge salad with the dressing drizzled over the top and crotons piled neatly on the side. It was almost too pretty to eat! The pizza was served piping hot from their wood burning oven and had fantastic flavor. We didn’t realize until halfway in that they forgot the garlic, but at that point didn’t mind because it was delicious. The bread was thinner than we thought it would be so we managed to finish the entire thing in one sitting. I would be a happy camper if we lived within their delivery area. The picture of the cannoli’s on their menu looked amazing too, so I hope to try one next time we go. Pro Tip for Unilocalers: They have a check in offer for 10% off your order

We ordered a large crispy prosciutto pizza and a medium pepperoni pizza and a large caprese salad. The caprese salad had nice firm mozzarella and the drizzled balsamic dressing had a pleasant, slightly sweet flavor. We found the pizzas to have freshly prepared ingredients and the crusts were crispy and had plenty of character. The pepperoni pizza was a little light on pepperonis and possibly a little heavy on cheese, but neither Pizza was greasy. The crust flavor was simple, and allowed the flavor of the sauce and toppings to be in control. I like that the place is BYOB, quiet and not owned by a conglomerate. Price was very fair.

Im suspicious of the reviews for this place. definitely will be keeping a look out. I went on a date here at about noon. Immediately I noticed THISPLACEISLOUDASHELL. There was a huge table of teenagers making a racket, but the staff at Chef Tony didn’t seem to mind. Whatever. OURFOODTOOKABOUTANHOURTOARRIVE. The table next to us asked if our food was taking forever too. I could tell they were just as irritated. And when the food did arrive, I immediately tried to spit it out. I’ve never done that but THEPIZZAATCHEFTONYSTASTESLIKESOAPANDDOUGH. «Cheesy heaven» has very little cheese. All I could taste was the cardboard crust and strong herbs. This was so nasty I said«I can not eat this, it’s inedible» to my date. The crust was burnt, the very little cheese that was on it was swimming in oil. I am VERY nice and didn’t ask for a refund. So it’s not like im being unreasonable. Here is where it gets really bad, we asked for a to-go box. NOT because we were leaving, but because I wasn’t ever going to touch my meal and my date wanted to take it home for himself. We put my pizza into it and my date sat down to eat his food(I told him this was fine, I’d get something on the way home). While he went to sit down, some people walked in and then walked out. An employee ran after them asking what was wrong and they said there weren’t enough seats. He then said«theyre leaving!!!» meaning my table. WOWWWW. MYDATEWASNOTDONEEATING. OURFOODHADONLYBEENSERVEDABOUT10MINUTESPRIOR. I NEVERSAIDWEWERELEAVING. We were basically ushered to pay and leave the restaurant, yet the table of teenagers could sit and eat as long as they want? As my date went to pay an employee handed me my to-go box from the table, basically making it VERYCLEAR that I was being rushed to leave so the other customers could have my seat. I was so confused. I just could not believe that employee would be so disrespectful. Getting their business yet burning a bridge with me in the process was not smart. It was unbelievably rude. I sent out a group text as I was leaving to a ton of friends in the area telling them about my experience and to never go there. They always ask me for recommendations — I’m glad I could help them avoid this place. My date took a bite of my pizza later and told me «you’re right… that is disgusting».

I love wood fired pizza and this place is good. The restaurant is small and nice. It’s a good date place. The décor is nice pictures of pizza and feels classy. The kitchen is open so you can see them making the pizzas. The staff were very friendly. They took good care of us. They were good about asking if we had any questions and made sure that we understood everything on the menu. The food was good and quick. They have some really nice ingredients like grilled zucchini and eggplant for their pizza. They make the mozzarella in house. Out pizza had goat cheese which was really good. The crust was nice and crispy. We also had a gingerbread cannoli for dessert. It was good but a little sweet. The prices are really cheap compared to other pizza places and they use good quality ingredients. I was very impressed with the price for what you get. This was a good outing and I would definitely recommend it.

I don’t get excited about pizza much, I have said this b4. It’s so simple to make yet so many places just screw it up royally. Usually, if I want pizza, I want neopolitian pizza. I love lite thin crust pizza with quality gourmet toppings. If I’m going for that amount of calories it has to be top notch gourmet pizza done right or FORGETABOUTIT! It’s not going down this New Yorkers pie hole. Everyone knows I have a love affair with Olivella’s in Highland Park/University Park in Dallas & that hasn’t changed. Their one of a kind imported straight from Italy brick oven delivers a crispy thin crust pizza like none other. I still LOVE Olivella’s it’s pure Neapolitan perfection ;) However, I’m ecstatic about finding Chef Tony’s wood fired gourmet pizza! Woohoo!!! :)‘ I was in Flower Mound recently & just happened to notice it. I almost drooled on myself when I walked by & smelled the aromatic smells that only a fresh pizza in the oven can produce coming out of this tiny gourmet pizza place. I took a peek inside & then, THEN, I had to pick my jaw up off the floor when I saw what kind of pizza oven this tiny joint has! Drum roll please… Chef Tony’s has DFW’s FIRSTREVOLVINGBRICKWOODFIREDPIZZAOVEN !!! Let me say that again, this pizza oven is BADASS! Lol Its a $ 30k Italian pizza oven. It’s DFW’s very first REVOLVING wood fired pizza oven. When you put the pizza in, it goes in a circle & cooks perfectly evenly all the way around. Holy macaroni! You know what happened next? I went straight to the nearest liquor store. I needed a drink after seeing that! Seriously, I went & bought a bottle of Tuscan wine bc it’s BYOB ;) I did not pass go, I did not collect $ 200 I hurried straight back to Chef Tony’s wood fired gourmet pizza & feasted on the most INCREDIBLE Gourmet pizza I have ever had. I drank the whole bottle of wine too. I have no regrets. I will never forget the first bite, it will forever be planted in my memory like my first kiss. This pizza is gourmet pizza perfection. The crust is gourmet in house made super thin, crispy, yet soft in the inside with a little chewiness. The sauce is also in house made. It’s savory with fresh herbs & has a nice fruity sweetness from the tomatoes with a nice acidity to it. Perfection. The toppings are all top notch quality toppings like sundried tomatoes, arugula, artichoke, Apple wood smoked bacon, smoked Gouda & Gorgonzola just to name a few. Plus in house made sausage & meatballs! Mama Mia! They even make their OWN sausage & meatballs! I’m drooling now & hope I can just finish this review b4 I head over there… That’s not all. They have the most gorgeous, fresh made gourmet salads & sides. The menu is small, they keep it simple & do everything to perfection. The salads all come with in house made gourmet dressings. The Caprese is made with fresh Roma tomatoes, basil, balsamic reduction, EVOO&FRESHINHOUSEMADEMOZZARELLACHEESE& watermelon while in season! WOW! :)… They even have several gourmet Mac & cheese dishes. You def want to wait till Friday & Saturday so you can try the Lobster Mac & cheese with fresh Maine Lobster!!! It’s prepared with spinach & truffle oil & only available then. I ordered a custom pie with crispy prosciutto, chicken, Gorgonzola, fresh jalapeños & roasted garlic. It was topped with EVOO& fresh basil. Mama Mia! It was perfectly cooked, sauced to the edge, had just the right amount of toppings & it was so divine I ate almost the whole thing by myself. I also ordered one to go for my hubby. I brought it home & heated it on my pizza stone @500 degrees till the cheese was bubbly, it was just as good as when I ate it there. The dine in is brand new, quaint, cozy &BYOB! It’s a walk up & order from the counter place then, they bring you your order. Nothing fancy, except the food which is the way it should be. Chef Tony’s does delivery, it’s a $ 15 minimum in a 3 mile radius. You can check out his website @ It’s not Olivella’s Neapolitan pizza. It’s not like anybody’s pizza. It’s Chef Tony’s gourmet wood fired pizza that is expertly crafted & prepared in the only revolving brick wood fired pizza oven in DFW& I can’t wait to stuff it in my pie hole again :)… Well done! Highly recommend.
