The pizza my wife had was tasty(standard pep), and the gluten free menu is great for my mother-in-law. I was disappointed in the price of premium toppings compared with their quality. The chicken was a poor texture and flavorless(I suspect frozen). It killed the pizza for me.

Z Pizza is now one of my favorite places for many reasons!!! I always ask pizza places to draw a jelly fish holding a samurai sword for me and they never do. Z Pizza drew me that JELLYFISHHOLDING A SAMURAISWORD! I also happened to enjoy the pizza, they have a nice selection! I recommend the Thai Pizza, its amazing! I hope to order again, but this time ask for a jellyfish stinging the samurai sword, or eating it! Great Pizza and I recommend everyone goes there!

YES!!! Another gluten free restaurant that serves great food!!! Amazing GF pizza crust and fresh toppings, and also some unique, delicious salads! One of my GO-TOs now for pizza delivery! You can dine in here too– nice cozy interior,(and then go next door to Scooter’s for yogurt!). For those with food sensitivities, they also have an option for dairy-free cheese… and I’m pretty sure thy use non GMO ingredients– bc who doesn’t want REALFOOD?!

Really good pizza — probably my third favorite pizza in the metroplex. The only things keeping it from a 5 star is the prices are a little high(although mostly justifiable given the quality ingredients), and the crust was a little more cooked and crunchy than I typically care for.

I do not require gluten free food, but I do order Z Pizza’s Gluten Free Pizza. It is delicious. The only problem with this place is that it is overpriced and I don’t feel like I’m getting the value for my dollar. I would rate this higher if the value was better and if they had some more standard pizza selections.

We live in The Colony, but were in Flower Mound for my son’s Tae Kwan do class. It ended at 6:30 and I didn’t have a dinner plan. I googled gluten free pizza options and found zpizza. I loved the way I could place my order online. I also love the organic ingredient options! I am of the mind that food quality is something worth paying a little extra for, and try to buy organic for almost all our food at home. My son, 5, is currently gluten free as well, which is tricky when eating out. I was thrilled to see the Tuesday coupon, which was automatically added to my online shopping cart. It saved us $ 13! The coupon was for«buy one get, one for $ 5, any size.» We ordered an XL Provence with no tomato slices, add chicken sausage on organic crust for my husband and I. The roasted garlic sauce was fantastic! And I love capers and artichoke hearts. My husband thought it was exceptional too, and he doesn’t care quite as much about organic ingredients, etc. as I do. For the kids, we ordered a large gluten free crust, organic tomato sauce, mozzarella and black olives. They enjoyed it too. My one, nitpicky, complaint is that when I ordered online, I saw the option for«gluten free cookies» for $ 2.25. In my head, I pictured freshly baked, in house made cookies(plural). I ordered chocolate chip. When I got to the store, I found that they were pre packaged and I got the last chocolate chip. They were mostly pumpkin flavored, which wasn’t on the online menu. Anyway, my sons still liked the cookie, but it wasn’t quite what I expected. I had to break it in half and split it between my two kids. It would have been more clear if they changed«cookies» to «cookie», put the brand name that bakes and packages them on the website, and kept the flavors current. All in all, we really enjoyed our food, and I’ve already posted good things about Zpizza in a gluten-free Facebook group that I belong to. The other Unilocal reviews complained about the price, and I’d be inclined to agree that it’s a bit more expensive than your average pizza shop, but for the organic options, gluten free options, combined with the Tuesday special, we feel we got a great deal! It would have cost more for poorer quality pizza without organic/GF options at the Italian place down the street. For the two pizzas, cookie and tip, I spent $ 30.99. Really not bad, it fed four people for two meals, plus the organic/GF ingredients. We will definitely be back, but it’ll probably be on a Tuesday!

I enjoy the lunch deal. The pizza is good and pretty fast plus I feel like it is a little healthier option to the greasefest of many pizza chains.

Very good pizza, more expensive but gourmet pizza w creative and delicious flavor combinations. I LOVE the fact that they use Organic ingredients and offer Whole Wheat crust. Many of their pizza combinations are vegetarian friendly. I am ALWAYS happy with whatever I have ordered from Z Pizza. Yes, its expensive, but honestly the old adage«You get what you pay for» has a lot of truth to it! I would deduct a ¼ star based on cost, but that still rounds up to a 5 star perfect rating in my book. The offer dine in, take out, and delivery service. I seriously feel like I’m a celebrity when I call in and order Organic Pizza with all these fresh, gourmet artisan toppings for delivery … like I am calling my personal chef or something. ;-) The rustica pizzas are interesting and tasty, especially if you want a variation from all their other traditional round pies. They are an oblong small, hand shaped dough pizza. They are not big, so I’d recommend ordering as a personal pizza or if you are going to eat with others, be sure to get more than one(unless its an appetizer, where everyone just needs a taste). My most recent experience was after a night of indulging in a few too many spirits. I woke up the next morning, feeling like absolute dog doo doo, and wanted nothing but a gallon of water or gatorade/powerade and PIZZA. Z Pizza was open when I called at 11 am, and there were out quickly with my pipping hot Large Pizza and Rustica. I ate nothing but Pizza for the next 24 hours, and honestly it made me feel SOOOO much better. Thank you Z Pizza for being the perfect hang over food! :-) I love Z Pizza, and while I wish they were cheaper so I could eat there more often, I understand why they cost more and I’m willing to pay it when I’m in the mood for some DEEEEE-LISH pizza.

Just had Z pizza delivered an was not impressed at all. First off it looks like pizza was dropped. The toppings had all slide off. Second 20 bucks for a two topping so so pizza is so not worth it. You can get better pizza from Cici’s. Also very greasy and sauce has no flavor. Nasty stuff.

I fell in love with Z Pizza when I was on Weight Watchers. My husband has an obsession with pizza, but turns out pizza tends not to be very healthy. I had seen Z Pizza but never tried it out so we finally gave it a try, when I discovered I could eat there and easily stay with in my points it became a weekly eat. I now have all of my co-workers addicted too. We go almost once a week and get there 2 slice & a drink special for $ 5.95. My favorite? The Provence which means I like to go on Thursday or Sunday when the Provence is one of the pizza by the slice options. They always have pepperoni & cheese!

OK, 1st of all, Im probably one of the few people that a) has eaten at many Z pizzas in other parts of the country before(washington DC area), and b) traveled from east plano just to try this location. That said, I was very disappointed, and in, and I hate to say it, Texas fashion, the quality was not on par with the chain’s standard for the rest of the country. The only reason they get a 3 instead of a 2 is because at least the ingredients are the same relatively high quality ones used in other locations. Now, if only they can train their cook, or find a much better one that actually knows something about cooking pizza. Specifics: 3 things ruined the pizza: 1) Overcooked. The cheese was brown and crusted. I saw other pizzas also overcooked, so specifically requested mine be «undercooked», but that had no affect. At 1st, I thoguht it was as simple as they just over cooked it, but after eating it, I realized there was a more complex interaction occurring from deviation fromt he factory franchise recipe relating to the crust(see next item). 2) Crust WAY too thick. In fact, the situation was that the cheese was scorched over cooked, while the crust was still white and even undercooked. At first I thought the problem was oven malfunction or misuse, but then realized it was as simple as an incompetent cook that made the crust way too thick. THe thicker crust needs more time to bake to get done, thus, the cheese burns, while the crust isn’t even done. You just can’t screw with the natural balance designed by the franchise and expect it to still work… One of the things I loved about Z pizza in other cities is the really thin NY crust! 3) Pizza is undersized. I ordered a Z14(14″, and actually measured it to be just a little over 12″ in diameter.) Not only did this P.O. me getting«cheated», but it also feeds into the thick crust syndrome. If the cook uses a certain amount of dough for a 14″, and doesn’t fully stretch it out then duh… the smaller pizza wil have overly thick crust! In fact, I calculate that to make for about 27% thicker crust. But in reality, it was a heck of a lot thicker than just 27%, so make that 2 thumbs down(not just one) to the cook. Here are some photos of what I consider thick crust and the measurement of the 14″ pie: All that said, back to the ingredients… Dough, and sauce are both excellent quality(though dough does not equal crust since makign the dough too thick and thus under cooking it makes for horrible crust. Cheese is decent(not fresh mozzarella, like some new places like Cavelli does), but decent quality processed mozzarella. I caulk this up to the same situation as Grimaldis or Sabarros(in malls) here in Dallas. Although ingredients are same as in NY, the cooks ability to inspire and put it all together DRASTICALLY affects the outcome, and thus the Grimaldis and Sabarros pies here are no relation to the chain counterparts in NYC. And no, it’s NOTHING to do with the water… lol. It’s the cook!

Our pizza choice in FM! thin crust and a GREAT wheat crust which is not easy to do. Great organic ingredients. It is a little pricey, but well worth it for what you get and they offer a deal on Tuesday’s. Great lunch slices & drink deal too. I love that all toppings are the same price — not extra for certain topping which are always the ones I want! Tony’s doing a good thing here –keep it up.

Expensive, but you get what you pay for. This is so beyond pizza. Instead of just full, you walk away feeling nourished. The combinations of ingredients are incredible. I find myself trying to eat slow to enjoy every bite and flavor. The personal pizzas(Rusticas) have especially extravagant ingredients like the Curry Chicken and Yam(mozzarella, curry chicken, yams, mango chutney, cilantro), and the Pear and Gorgonzola(mozzarella, Gorgonzola, pears, fresh thyme). Every once in a while you can find coupons which make up for the price. The inside does look very«fast-food», the two tables outside are sad and falling apart last I was there, but in this case it’s worth it to look past that and enjoy the food.

Our entire family loves this place and I feel good about letting them eat it! And although they are more expensive, they always have a coupon in the mail and on their pizza boxes. Lately we have been doing the z18 custom made like the curry rustica and getting a large pear and gorgonzola salad for free with one of their coupons. So for $ 22, that feeds our family of 4 a great organic and healthy dinner.

I can understand why some people may not like this place. I kind of want to hug Z Pizza for being so vegan friendly. You can order any pizza vegan and I appreciate that. The one note that I have on the vegan pizzas is vegan cheese has a strong flavor compared to traditional cheese. You can’t use the same distribution as a regular pie. If they halved the cheese, it would be a lot better. It looks very fast foodish inside. I think I’d probably get my pizza to go in the future. They sell beers and have an open view to the make line. All the veggies tasted good. They also offer this Mediterranean platter with hummus and sliced veggies. My kind of lunch! I’m a fan.

I may try the pizza as a slice during the M-TH happy hour, but ordering whole pies to go is EXPENSIVE. Stick to the local Italian restaurant pizzas if you want better ingredients/taste at much lower prices.

Great pizza at Z-Pizza. This pizzeria only opened for few month ago behind Life Time Fitness and I love this place. They fire bake their pizza instead of electricial roller oven you see in other pizza places. Because they fire bake the pizza, crust is very crisp and delicious. You can also taste real mozzarella cheese instead of processed frozen cheese that big franchises use. Definitely A+ pizza.
