Great place place to eat great Sushi and other unique chef specialties. Fantastic live music on Wednesday and Thursday Nights. Two great patio’s and always great atmosphere to eat, socialize or watch sports at the bar or on the patios.

I love this place! It’s my go to spot if I want a sushi roll(Their Philadelphia roll is the best!), or just to grab a glass of wine with a friend at the bar. The service has always been fast and super friendly. Everything on the menu that I’ve tried has been awesome(except the desserts, they’re very sub average). The atmosphere and the vibe are just fantastic! I highly recommend giving it a try!

My daughter and I went to this restaurant for lunch today. There was only one other couple there having lunch(it was a late lunch) and we were seated right next to them. Strike one. Daughter ordered salmon sushi with a side of fried rice. I ordered teriyaki chicken, lunch portion. My daughter though her sushi was very good, the fried rice, not so much. I tasted it and it has a weird taste, not like most fried rice. My lunch consisted of approximately ¼ chicken breast and a bowl of white rice, which was $ 13. No veggies, just a big white plate with a tiny piece of chicken. We won’t be back.

Nothing but fried shrimp. A lot of rice in the rolls, you actually get all rice and no fish. Good drinks, but food was terrible. I have been there multiple and each time the the menu is mainly fries or cooked items. Will not go back!

Some friends have been raving about Piranha Killer Sushi. They asked us to join them for dinner there, and we are really glad they did. We started out with a Tuna Tower appetizer which had a very nice sauce that was the perfect combination of heat and savory flavor. I had the Wasabi Crusted Salmon Roll and two perfect pieces of Tuna Sashimi. My wife and the kids had a several varieties of sushi and other bites. They also had a nice variety of beers, wines and sake to choose from. This place has great food and a modern atmosphere that make for a nice evening out. The live music was a nice touch as well.

Came here for a date. Fish seemed old and had an unpleasant texture/toughness. Every roll was unnecessarily drenched in sauce. The spicy tuna/scallop rolls had a red sauce on top that most closely resembled ketchup. Both my date and I currently have stomach issues…(I’m writing this from a bathroom stall). Really wish I could get my $ 93 back… Will never be returning.

Moved to HV about 5 months back and I’m trying to find a sushi place that knocks my socks off, but I’m still looking. Piranha was good but it did not blow my hair back. I would probably not go back because if you want ok sushi you can get it for cheaper someplace else. The place was clean and nice.

I usually go about once a week, usually on a Thursday night. Always a good crowd and the live music is a real plus. I like the Tuna roll and there is plenty of cooked fish, if you don’t like it raw. Very hip place and the bartenders very professional and make great drinks. I believe they half price bottles of wine on Wednesday night.

I arrived for lunch and ordered a salmon bento box. It took forever to get my order in spite of only having 3 tables occupied. I tried the green tea and it was impossible to drink it was so bitter. I explained this to the waitress and her reply was that people that aren’t used to green tea experience this. I drink green tea almost every day and no, it’s not supposed to be incredibly bitter. The meal finally arrived and it had salmon, steamed rice, a crab cake(?), bok choy mix and a salad with minimal dressing. It seemed like an odd combination of things for a bento box and had no sushi. The salmon was ok, the crab cake was odd, the salad was tasteless, and all in all, none of it would warrant a return visit. Skip this place, there are better restaurants nearby.

Despite having a menu that includes Korean and Thai, it was a great Japanese restaurant. They have a fun craft cocktail menu, some creative rolls and plenty of cooked food for those who don’t like raw fish.

I absolutely was blow away by this place. It’s the best sushi I’ve ever had. All ingredients were very fresh and the prices were reasonable. We ordered from the Happy Hour menu both drinks and sushi, so we got an even better price. The service was very slow, though. And the waitress was all over the place. Other than that it was a great experience I recommend their Martinis. We tried a few and all were awesome. If you go before 7pm you can take advantage of their Happy Hour menu and get a price break. I will definitely visit this place again.

Under new management and it was amazing all around! The staff was great and accommodating and the food was the best I’ve had in a long time. The sushi was fresh and had a great assortment. The environment was SO much fun also. We will definitely be coming back and recommend it to anyone looking for a great date night or a place to go have a few cocktails.

The sushi is really good here. Every sushi that we ordered was prepared well, and delicious. With the food, my only complaint was the blue crab fried rice. It was just a weird combination, the mushrooms were a little overwhelming, and I didn’t think the cheese mixed well with it. Other than that, everything was delightful. Our server was Alex, she was awesome, so kudos to her and the other staff for a great experience.

Great sushi in Flower Mound. Love the sesame seared tuna and wasabi crusted salmon rolls. Attentive service and nice atmosphere and inventive drinks.

Gave it a shot today for lunch and I was pleasantly surprised. The interior had a nice décor, a bit hip and modern, contrasting to exterior façade. We ordered a sashimi bento and a sushi bento. The fish were very fresh and we loved the seared tuna salad that came with the bento. The sushi rice was excellent and had the right amount of vinegar in it, and it was sticky, not broken apart like most places. The seaweed tasted really fresh. A very clean and modern setting with great sushi. I would have given it 5-stars if we weren’t charged $ 7.50 for two cups of tea(not even green tea). Will definitely come back since it’s in my neighborhood.

Despite repeated attempts at eating here and the location in FW they just can’t do it. Nothing is fresh. Tuna is «fishy» and snow crab is old. Fresh crab has a completely different texture. Calling it done on this place. We won’t be back and it is officially off the list. We will drive further to get sushi instead of trying to opt for the convenience of this location. We sent our sushi and maki boxes back. No manager or anyone comes by to check on us. This after three bento boxes took 20 minutes at lunch to be delivered. Unacceptable all the way around.

Lemon Drop Martini, a must have! Loved the atmosphere and the service I got from my server! The bartender did a good job with my drinks! The California and their eel sushi were probably the best ones

Very disappointed. I’d been there two years ago and it was better. I ordered the Sushi and Sashimi dinner. @ $ 39 for one the tab it should have been quite good, but it lacked any creativity or interesting flavors. Service was terrible. My waitress enjoyed texting on her phone and talking to the hostess more than looking over to refill my iced tea or bring me sweetener. The fish was fresh and good so far as it went(the sashimi side) The Sushi consisted of the same fish on rice — nigiri(not what I ordered), a very plain tuna roll, and a ceviche that was OK, but also not what I would look for when ordering Sushi. Edohanna is only a few miles away, better and cheaper. I won’t make the same mistake twice.

DISAPPOINTED! I came here last week, and had higher expectations. Nothing seemed«fresh». We 5 – 6 rolls for the table, and none of them were even good. I was really hoping we found a new go to spot in FM/HV, but this is not it. I would give this place 1 Star, but my waiter was actually nice.

environment: clean, modern, inviting, but horrible music Service: not bad, but not that good Food: Ordered the dancing eel roll and the dragon roll. Both the wrong kind of cold and underwhelming. Very unimpressed with the quality of sushi provided.
