The cuisine and service was excellent. I ordered the salmon and fried green tomatoes for an appetizer. Delish!!! The fried green tomatoes were very flavorful with a spicy taste. The bartender was also amazing. My bae ordered the cucumber and some berry martini. Of course I had to taste it because I can’t help but eat and drink everything he orders. He always makes great choices. The martinis were superb!!! We will definitely return because this place is now his favorite restaurant.

What can I say, when you know a good place you always return and when it comes to Antebellum no other restaurant in the area comes close. I know when to make reservations for the proper time to garner great seating, though Anthony left in December my wife and I lucked out and had Brandon. In short, SERVICE! WITHOUTMISSING A BEAT! Brandon is definitely a restaurant professional. A Georgia gentlemen he reminded me of a New York City professional server. He treated my wife and I with first class service, paired a great wine for my wife and her plate of scallops and maintained full attention throughout. I had the duck, but before we had the cheese bread appetizer, now that is some goooood stuff. Glad it is a small app as the taste could bring trouble. I could have a loaf of bread and 10 pounds of the spread and still go for broke. I have many accolades for Antebellum so I will leave it here. If you want to have great service with great fare, at one of the Open Table Top 100 locations in the country then make your reservations now. Yes, make your reservations as in a couple weeks out. You do not just walk in and grab a table here as it is always full. Enjoy!

Great food and service. Been going here for years and received great service and an excellent meal. Great for anniversaries or other special occasions. Be sure to make a reservation early before they fill up on weekends.

My husband and I rang in 2016 with a wonderful meal at our favorite restaurant. I love the complex flavors and creative combinations. The seasonal menus keep us coming back to try out the new dishes.

Fantastic Meal celebrating a friends birthday. Service from Tyler was exceptional. He had the right mix of attention without«over serving» us. Scallops were excellent! In my opinion, the special of the day was a tad on the salty side but then again, I am a bit picky. Loved the concept of Chicken Fried Steak with collard greens for a savory meal. The meal was pure perfection! Thank you for a great night out, close to home!

Our favorite restaurant now, after several visits. The atmosphere is delightful, some nights there is live acoustic music, and they have wine specials during the week. Nothing better than finding a unique local restaurant, where quality is the number one priority. See you next week, again!

This is the best restaurant I have been since ages. Excellent customer service and expert waiters. They explained about each dish we ordered. Still wondering what a gem in this small town of flowery branch. Thanks to my friend for taking me to this wonderful place for a great southern comfort food.

This is going to be the gum in the works of all the glowing reviews. Sorry. Wanted to like this place. Food was overly pretentious and just down right weird combos. I think they are trying too hard. All the other side stuff on the plates did not seem to taste good or didn’t taste right in combo with the main course. Admittedly we didn’t order their fried green tomatoes which was their signature dish. Had the arugula salad– ok, mushroom appetizer was ok, duck-didn’t like it was dry and could have used a sauce, steak –ok, finished with dessert of Brown Betty and pot de crème which were ok. Did like the bread they served and liked that the food is locally sourced. Cute that it’s in an old house, and has that country feel with the mason jar glasses. It may be 1 of the top 100 restaurants but it really felt like a kid was in charge of the menu and was experimenting with ingredients sort of like«hey wouldn’t it be a great idea to pair such and such with this meal cuz it’s different and maybe never done before and I’m being creative» not that it actually taste good together. I’m sure others will have fallen into the rabbit hole and think this is the elevation of gastronomy and if I don’t like it then I simply don’t get it. Ughhhh no. And no I don’t think of myself as a foodie at all. I just like good food. Would not recommend and we will not be back. Just not our type of food.

Ive been here twice now for special occasions and they totally make sure you feel special! The service is great and the food oh good grief the food! With the menu changing seasonally it’s always different, always fresh, and always inspired and delicious! From the apps to the drinks, everything plays off each other in a magical way. I’ve had a duck dish which was cooked to perfection and recently a play on country fried steak that was so good I didn’t share with my husband. Not even a bit. Staple items you must try are the fried green tomatoes, the pimento cheese, and the pot de crème. You will not be disappointed!

My wife and I have gone to antebellum many different times. It has been great for date nights and celebrations(New years menu is always amazing). The food is amazing from the starters to the dessert and the cocktail selection is great as well. This is a hidden gem tucked away in Flowery Branch. I recommend antebellum to anyone looking for a great experience and top quality food.

Great dinner alone with no kids, steered over from shogun to have a more«quality» meal. Greeted by the hostess, sat at the bar, Josh controlled my evening, Tom Grimm provided soft jazz guitar. The charming old house atmosphere quite relaxing. Started of course with the fried green tomatoes and frozen mimosa —(sorry, after a couple Stella’s !!!) The tomatoes are a perfect grouping of flavors from the Fried egg to perfectly fried green tomatoes over a crisp toast. Very good. Went slow and enjoyed. Then on to the seared scallops in a bed of greens and roasted peppers in a curry and pea purée. 5 to the plate, a symphony of taste to the palate. Again took my time to enjoy and these were wonderful. Enjoyed a fine Pinot with the meal and off to a double espresso and grand mariner. No desert, perfect background music by Tom. Josh was a great server, atmosphere was very chic, meal was superb. Expensive if your doing the math, but read the reviews. This is Atlanta upscale cuisine in Flowery Branch. Thoroughly enjoyed…

This was our second visit to Antebellum. It was a wonderful date night close to home. The hostess was friendly and accommodating. We both had the cucumber lemon drop –was the perfect summer cocktail. Best fried green tomato app– the over easy egg on top soaks down onto the egg, brioche, and bacon with just touch of Tabasco– I could have had this for dinner. The mushroom salad was divine with a wonderfully flavorful lemon vinagrette. I can’t decide which entrée was better– shrimp and grits or the salmon with corn grit cake. This place will not disappoint. Go check it out!

This restaurant was recommended by friends, and we were surprised how out of the way it was, but boy was that a wonderful surprise. The food was exquisite, small portions, as it should be, but packed with flavor. The scallops were divine, and the pork with cuscus and mushroom was superb. Cocktails and desert were also magnificent. If I could give them 6 stars, I would!

Not quite what it is cracked up to be. Very expensive, very loud and not very comfortable. We went as a table of eight, were seated right as our 7pm reservation and were there in the middle of the week. Weekends are apparently popular and rushed, so go during the week. This is an expanded country– or farm-style house just off of the Flowery Branch downtown. Amazing that this high-end restaurant would be located in the rural countryside of Braselton, but the area is certainly growing. I had difficulty with the menu. Lots of fur-fru descriptions and sides. At first glance they sounded good, but the execution was disappointing. There were five appetizers, five salads and five mains offered. Mostly seafood. Portions were minimal. The kind of meals that make you look for a hamburger stand when you leave. I read the reviews and am amazed at the raves. I think this might be hype driving the expectation that what you are getting is really special. It ain’t. I think as a lunch place it might pass except for the high prices. We could barely hear each other from the noise. Hard wood floors and walls reflected noise. Service was OK, but the waiter was quite pushy as to wines, appetizers and desserts. A bit much and after I kept myself from gobbling down my four 1.5 inch slices of beef shoulder and 9 squares of warm, vinegared potato cubes I was far from proclaiming this a five-star gourmet dining experience. Drop by to check out the menus as they change three times each year. You might find something that will draw you in, but don’t expect much more than a sampler portion which will be priced at a full portion.

I’ve been telling my husband to take me since we moved to flowery branch in 2013. He finally granted my wish for our anniversary this year. It was great! I had a salmon appetizer which was perfectly balanced and delicious. For the main course I had scallops with a lobster ravioli. The scallops were perfectly cooked and all the flavors on the plate complimented each other. The service is outstanding. A great place with outstanding food.
