This place is super fun!!! I came here with a boyfriend and our friend on a whim after running into each other. I loved karaōke and drinking while my bf and our friend played beer pong! It’s a super fun place to hang out with friends, although it has no food. Fortunately there are tons of restaurants around the area. The only thing I didn’t like was that we only found out when paying that it’s cash only. Other than that, I will definitely want to come back soon!!!

Very small bar/lounge/ktv joint hidden up stairs! Their bartenders are friendly, gets what you need and doesn’t take forever. This place is more like a personal spot and by that I mean the same people usually are there, friends of friends of friends! They do have have beerpong smack in the center; 2 tables. There are some seating around the bar and there’s also couches and sofas all the way in the back for a few parties(about 3 midsized). Drinks are as average as it can be, no specialization just usual beers. They also have karaōke rooms; I believe 2 or 3! System is unimpressive and songs are not up to date(last time I went). They DO have a karaōke at the bar which you may ask to do on request. I do not believe there is a fee, however it looks like its priority for the people that are usuals there! If you plan to make this hidden spot a «go-to» then keep hitting it up, otherwise it’s really not recommended!

One of the chillest lounges and bars you’ll find in Flushing. Everyone who goes is like family. The staff is all very chill and welcoming. Like a typical Chinese bar they have dice for their customers to play with as well as a nice beer pong section that they can use. The owners are also very nice and accommodating. Would you recommend this place to your friends? I bring them already!

This is a local bar where you can karaōke, play beer pong, play dices, and watch sports at. The last 2 times I’ve been here it isn’t overcrowded and has a nice upbeat atmosphere. The bar tenders and staff are very friendly and attentive. They’d always make sure your area is clean. They’d also help you pour whenever your cup is emptying. They also have specials here during the weekdays where the shots are $ 5 and the beer is 6 for $ 30.

My very first time here and I had fun. They have everything you can think of to keep you entertained for the whole night. Karaōke(in English, Chinese, Taiwanese), beer pong table, full bar, and drinking games. Compare it to the other more modern karaōke bars, this place may seem not up to term. But it has great environment and vibes. Upon entering, there is an U-shaped bar with a beer pong table in between the bar and lounge seats. The employees are friendly and polite. They also provide karaōke rooms if your party prefers privacy. They have great song selections in Chinese, Taiwanese and English. Even though the KTV system is not modern, but the song selections are countless and current. I am not quite sure how the drinks are at the bar because we ordered a bottle of Hennessy and green tea. But this is the first time I had Hennessy with green and water. Very interesting taste. They also provide you with drinking games. Overall a great place to hang with friends.

Good vibes all around for this place, and you have Jasmine(the owner) to thank for that! She makes sure you’re feeling comfortable and well accommodated. The drinks are decent priced for the amount of alcohol the bartender is giving and the songs are pretty up to date. A beer pong table is already set up if you’re up for a drunken challenge and there are 2 small/medium private rooms available if you have a slightly larger group on different sides of the bar. They’re nothing fancy, but it will ensure some privacy for your party. The KTV system is old, but the that’s no matter because it’s the updated music that counts.

Came here on a Saturday night, there was a beer pong table set up and Gamecube on one of the tables. They can give you die(dices?) to play with after you sit down. Ask the bartenders for list of songs that you can order on karaōke. People usually order a few songs so you’ll have to be patient with the list but overall lots of people, good vibe and plenty of fun.

This place is really cheezy. The furniture in the ktv rooms are cheap, the sound system is lame, and everything is antiquated(should have head for the doors when saw no touch screen for inputting songs). Pros: drinks are fairly priced, and no need for reservations. Cons: everything else, and not to mention they chase after you when you fail to tip. For god sakes, we were already in the elevator before the waitress came running after us, as if we left without paying for the tab. Hello people — tipping isn’t mandatory and your service sucked balls! At any rate, the main bar seems pretty decent looking, but the private rooms are garbage. I’d recommend Zebra Lounge 2, or some other place. BRU Bar wasn’t bad either, but now they’re closed :’(. I wouldn’t be surprised if this place closed next especially how poorly they treat their customers and how they fail in comparison to their competitors. Never again.

Cali Red Lounge is one of the few Flushing Main Street bars which I visit frequently. This Bar/KTV lounge is kept hidden within the confines of the building right next to Busy Mall however once you find the building, you just enter the elevator to the mezzanine level and you’re there. Upon entering, a U-shaped counter is in plain sight with couches and tables set-up to accomodate larger groups. Private Karaōke rooms were also available but I myself have never tried out their rig. An abundance of different liquors are displayed on the wall with a few select beer options in the refrigerators. The available cocktails are generally limited to their menu but the owner Jasmine and the bartender Valentina can whip up a custom cocktail, provided the required ingredients are stocked up. Depending on which of the many bartenders makes your cocktail, the drink can range from decent to spectacular. I myself am partial to Jasmine’s Irish Cream Coffee on the rocks. The prices are $ 6 for a beer and $ 8-$ 10 for cocktails. Non-alcoholic drinks such as coffee(instant) and tea are also available. The service provided during my numerous visits has been very accomedating. The bartenders ask you if you want another drink, refill your empty glasses of water or bowls of bar snacks, and even spark up interesting conversation; a perk not found amongst the other bars in Flushing which I have been to. The main lounge area has a selection of various American and Chinese songs where you can easily sing your heart out with a friend. The music is generally loud but not overwhelming, albeit having to raise your voice to have conversation. The incoming crowd is generally young and most of them are down to talk and relax. Based on my own personal experience, you can easily approach someone(assuming there is no language barrier) and just talk about anything or invite them for a game of dice or even beer pong. Because of its hard-to-find location, Cali Red does not get over-packed unless they have special event nights happening. All-in-all, Cali Red is a great place to go to solo or as a group to just unwind from the stress of everyday life. The great service, ambience, and great crowd have made me come back again and again.

Great place to hang out with a group, they have a lot of rooms and karaōke bar in the main area as well! The bartenders are pretty cute and owners seem cool to talk to. only thing i hate about it is this bartender named JING if you find her she is an evil witch who will make you drink your lungs out: P

Love this place! What a cool little lounge. We really enjoyed their special drinks. Cozy and cool vibe, lots of comfortable lounging area, and chill music. very opium den-like setting. the back area with long wall couches is overrated, and overrun with guys and gals who paid retail for thrift store like threads… i prefer to sit at the bar… with the old neighborhood locals and buddies of the bartenders… i used to come here lots when i was in nyc. Jing was an awesome bartender who made the best cocktail for me… Loved it! Will go back for sure.
