My dad was excited to try this buffet out because it had just reopened after being closed for a couple months. We came here back in the day for dinner before it changed its name and it was pretty decent for dinner but extremely expensive. We came back here for Chinese New Year for lunch and it was absolutely disgusting. No variety whatsoever. The food was only mediocre or terrible. The sushi and sashimi station had nothing. No fish or anything. The salad station had jello and fruits like regular Chinese buffets however the«salad» was just lettuce with mayo as the sauce which is already pretty disgusting but what made it worse was the mayo sauce had a fly and a random grape in it. I lost my appetite after that. Ate some ice cream from this random refrigerator in the middle of restaurant which only had a bucket of vanilla and a bucket of chocolate but the chocolate was all gone. The restaurant was pretty empty. I didn’t go back for seconds because I didn’t enjoy anything except for the string beans. One star for the string beans and the clean bathroom.

This is based on the sushi I had today around 2pm. I didn’t touch anything else because they didn’t look appetizing to me. The quality of the sushi is great compared other buffets. They were mostly empty but enough when I went up the bar. The chefs were probably preventing waste or food sitting around for too long. They must have more sushi earlier during the beginning of lunch to accommodate more people. Well, this is a good thing because you know when it’s empty they are prompt to make more so they are fresh when you get another plate. Yeah, the sushi chef does stare when you take sushi but I told him sorry for taking all the food and he smiled widely and said not a problem at all as I will make more. That is a good feeling when you know food on your plate was made by a nice person. Even had he been the opposite, I could care less as I would as much of anything I want on my plate. I am a paying patron and I will feel satisfied when I leave the place. The place is super clean and modernize and they played some great Chinese music. The ambience is really nice. I have read many not-so-great reviews about buffets but don’t expect extremely high quality when you pay a descent price range. Much fancier food are at those places where you pay mush more per head. I would definitely come back when I am in the area. It beats compromising with people on what to eat when you can go to a place with a wide selection and everybody can choose whatever they want.

Another fail attempt to revive a fail buffet location. Why, why, why do people keep on investing money into a restaurant but fail to do the research why the location failed in the first place. I came in for lunch. I noticed half the restaurant was empty and half the buffet table was empty a sign I should have walked out. They do have a sushi table which was empty or not edible. The food was subpar and at 13.95 plus 15% mandatory tips and tax my bill came to $ 18. For that much please don’t make my mistake and go somewhere else in flushing. There are better choices maybe not AYCE but why go to a AYCE when there is no food or edible food. The thing that is pissing me off is the 15% gratuity added to bills… when did this shit became a tax? It is a buffet i think 15% is a little excessive. I’ll be surprise this place last especially in Flushing where people expect more than what they pay for. Please see pictures for proof.

so my bf and i came here last night even though we read some bad reviews. before we ate, we decided to look at the food to see what they had before we decided to eat there. we arrived at 5pm so it was still a bit early for dinner service. when we looked around ½ of the food area was empty so that immediately turned us off. we were about to leave when one of the waitresses used her magic and told us that they were going to have other dishes out in about 10 min and we were at the beginning of dinner service. her magic worked and we stayed. there were some other people that looked at the dishes and were about to leave and were flagged down by waitresses as well. basically, based on my 4 star review you can tell that we pretty much enjoyed it. they did have lobster(Canto style), crab legs, a good variety of sushi/sashimi.(my bf said that the sashimi was pretty fresh) they had baked mussels with mayo?, clam shell with the baked mayo/corn/scallop and stuffed clams. those were my fav lol wished they had more of a variety instead of having like 2 – 3 trays of different fries(potato wedges, reg french fries and the ones with the ripples in them) i would say that their food wasnt too salty because we found ourselves having to add a bit of salt to their soups. they also had korean bbq ribs, chinese style chicken wings, frog legs(gross! lol), some dim sum dishes such as beef tripe, chicken feet(GROSS!!!- idk how it tasted but i dont like chicken feet lol), and some chinese cold dishes such as pork, pig ears, garlic with cucumbers etc. the price is $ 25.95 per person for lunch and lunch was $ 13.95. i dont think they have diff prices for weekends and weekdays but im not sure cause the sign was 100% in chinese… so i couldnt read it… i think theres 2 hours of free parking at one of the parking garages around there but then again, i cant read chinese so idk what it said… so it would be a good idea for them to make signs in english… soda/tea is included in the price. YAH! waitresses are super friendly. a plus. they were very quick with taking away our dirty plates and filling our drinks. our drinks were always at least ½ full. even though they only had vanilla and chocolate ice cream, omg, it was good. super creamy and not fake. would we come back? yes. (we were debating to either get river or try this new place out but they got our business for the night)

This place had minimal selection of food and that disappointed me. Shouldn’t buffets have heaping piles of food?! Sushi was non existant when we got there at around 5-ish, which was when they opened for dinner. At around 7(yea my family sat for a while) they still had literally two rolls of sushi out. So I wouldn’t expect much of the sushi here. Though, they had oysters which my sister said was pretty fresh(I don’t eat them). The baked cheese mussels were inedible, but the baked cheese clam was pretty good. For dinner they had ginger scallion lobster and crab legs, though there were so many people staring those dishes down it was like The Hunger Games. Highlight: the momo chacha and the fruits were really fresh. Never ever returning to this place, even my mom apologized for even suggesting this location. We now know better, let’s hope they do take Unilocal comments into consideration and revamp this place, then MAYBE I might just return.

Three years ago I remember coming to this location under a different name but now its a grand opening called Flushing Buffet. My mom loves all you can buffet so we stayed to try it out. The food is tasty but the temperature doesn’t hold up as you walked back to your table and take your first bite… cold and not even lukewarm. I was happy that they covered this plates with the food wraps which was a plus till they removed it as it got busier and more people dine in. You can’t trust kids or people that they aren’t going to pick up the food with their fingers as there are tongs. It doesn’t leave my tastebuds in a wow factor but eh if you like buffets… try it out!

As cheap as this place is during lunch time, I will not be returning. The food is poor and the selection is quite limited. I did not try the sushi and I hope you won’t either.

Another reincarnation of a struggling Asian buffet location. New name, probably new management — same problems. This buffet collapses under its own lofty expectations. The grand and huge space is more suitable for special events than a buffet and the many empty tables show that. Not to mention the huge overheads must eat into their food investments. The food is plentiful and of decent variety, but the freshness leaves a bit to be desired(I wouldn’t touch the sashimi). Also they probably need a new lobster and snow crab leg management system considering its never available. You can blame the selfish diners but add a server then. Good tilapia and service but overpriced(~$ 28) for what you get.

Food smells bad, not fresh, the number of multi-operator time afterwards, after we pointed out the problem, the new calculation, the tip also secretly entered in, very dishonest, not satisfied, never go!!!

So hard to find parking in flushing now days when you just wanna have a decent dinner. It was really great knowing that this new place provided parking on prince street. O ray, free parking! I love the sushi, it was so fresh. Had quality from Japanese restaurants, which is really hard to find now days in buffets. Had variety of seafoods, which I was really surprised in regards to, and the long lasting supplies. I didn’t have to wait in line like some buffets for oyster. Great service and atmosphere. It had a lil bit of everything, I felt it was a modern mixture of Asian fusion sort of type of buffet. I would definitely be back again with my group of friends, we had a great time. One negative part, they didn’t get their liquor license yet –_-, so no drinks for alcoholics out there lol. Hopefully they get it soon!

No need to write. The other 3 reviews explained it all. Ice cream machine still broken. Haha.

Horrible, the food selection was both limited, mediocre, and not properly kept warm or cold(depending on the food). The price is outrageous for the obviously packaged desserts, noodles and fries. The ice cream machine was still broken at this point. The fried rice had CANNED vegetables in them. CANNED.

Not even worth mentioning as a food experience. Not surprised to other bad reviews on it. Very limited selection of food. The quality of the food is really close to none. Hot food isn’t warm. Most of the food looks like it was bought prepackaged then fried/cooked. Sushi was stale. The buffet literally tasted and looked like the owners just picked a few random dishes and hired amateurs to cook them. Oh yeah, the ice cream machine is broken. Pretty much like a buffets style Chinese take out restaurant. except you paid close to $ 33 per person. For a grand opening you’d think there would be much more effort put into it. Not sure how long this restaurant would even last. It’s so bad that I feel bad for them. At least the staff members were diligent.

This was hands down the worst buffet experience my family and I have ever had. There was such a limited selection of food. There was only one buffet island, and patrons literally circled around island with empty plates and annoyed, confused faces. Plates, cups and utensils were not well cleaned; they had residue of soap and particle here and there. I had to wipe every plate just to make sure. They didn’t even have proper chopsticks; they gave us disposal chopsticks. For the price we paid, it seemed ridiculous. The restaurant could not even offer the essential staples found at every other Chinese buffet. First, the food was not authentically Chinese. The fried dishes were too brown and too crispy. The sauce was too thick and too sweet. The soup was bland, and the assortment was lackluster. The clam was not cleaned properly and had sand particles, which I unfortunately bit into. The sushi was poorly made. The rice was crumbling, and the sushi rolls could not hold up. The fish didn’t seem fresh and so I stayed away from the sashimi. There were very few desserts. The soft serve machine was broken(even though it was the second day they were opened), the ice cream they tried serving had thawed and become a soup, fruits were limited in selection, no cakes or pastries. The price for all of this was unreasonable. My family of 6 paid close to $ 200, and that’s considering we had a coupon for 10%. $ 33 for such a disappointing experience was definitely a rip-off. I regretted my decision to dine there the moment I sat down. The lack of a crowd spoke for itself. There were so many open tables during the prime dinner time(~7 p.m.) and that should’ve been a warning, but I didn’t realize until I sat down. The only good thing about this experience was the wait staff. I, like many patrons, were not happy, but they were still very courteous, understanding, and good at staying calm.
