Convenient location with a parking lot… Parking lots are a major plus in flushing! This Duane reade location has quite an inventory and you can usually find what you’re looking for with ease. Pretty organized store imo. I’ve yet to have a bad experience checking out here as the cashiers are always pleasant. However they could move w littler faster to get people checked out. Lines are never fun.

I have been going to this location for like forever, unfortunately, this place has seen better days. The competition is fierce today with CVS and other mom and pop pharmacies in the area. The décor is dated and the lighting and general appeal is unimpressive. Duane Reade prices are not as competitive as the other pharmacies around the area. They have also changed there rewards programs for loyal customers, it used to be called«Flex rewards» before they changed it over to «Balance rewards» In any regard, it takes 5,000 points before you can redeem your reward, in other words, you need to spend lots and lots of money! The location is also a rendezvous point for many Asian blue collar workers who use the parking lot as a «bus Stop» for a pick up and drop off point. A very important thing to remember, if you park here, you better shop here. There is a private tow truck company watching every person that parks there car in this lot. If they don’t see you go into Duane Reade, they will hook your car up and wait for your return. Unless you got some«Benjamin’s» on you, you can kiss your car goodbye!

Not a bad place to go if you need to pick up something quick. Is big and busy but the line usually fast. sometimes you might find some good deals. Make sure to take weekly catalog and look what’s on sale. You will see it once you walked in.

I originally bought a battery in one of the Duane Reades in the city. I was in a hurry and didn’t really look at the voltage of the battery. When I got home I realized it was the wrong one and needed to either exchange it or return it and re-buy the correct one. I was passing by this Duane Reade in Flushing so I thought I would stop by and get it done quickly. The line was extremely long because there was only 1 cashier. The other workers were just standing around talking amongst themselves. One other customer ran in saying she needed to exchange the milk she bought because it was expired. Since the cashier couldn’t taken no exchanges or returns the manager had to be called. When it was my turn the manager tried to scan the battery but it wouldn’t come up. He looked at the receipt and then walked over to their battery section. He came back and told me I cannot take care of this transaction. You have to go back to the Duane Reade where you bought this from because the prices are different. I was extremely annoyed. It turns out this Duane Reade actually charges MORE than the Duane Reade in the city. The manager didn’t want to process my return because he was too lazy to punch in the price I paid which was less than what they charge. I decided to try the OTHER Duane Reade on Kissena Blvd. The manager was 10x nicer over there. She processed a return and sale without any problems. I would recommended everyone to stay away from the Duane Reade on Main St. and go to the one on Kissena Blvd. It’s much nicer and cleaner.

This is probably the 2nd busiest Duanereade in Flushing. This location is larger than the Main Street and Roosevelt location. The plus to this one is that there is parking compared to the other two. Generally the lot is also not full, so it is not too small for the store. This location is older and also might be ready for a renovation soon. The lines are not too long and there is a decent amount of products.
