First off, staff is very mediocre but everytime I went they did not give me any negative vibes. They do ID every weekend & there are no exceptions. Drinks; cocktails(flavored soju) seem watered down a tad bit, they do have a selection of about 6 – 8 beers. Not much to say except that it is your typical korean bar/food spot.

Okay. Here’s the thing. I used to come here a lot with friends, and I always had good time. I love the food here, and I love drinking here too! Right next to some good restaurants with an outdoor smoking area in the back. Love it. Convenient, no fuss nights kicking back shots, right? No! not anymore! All this place does is stress me out! I don’t know why the hell all the good waitresses/bartenders no longer work here… but the staff has really truly deteriorated. I understand that flushing is a small community, so the bartenders and waitresses often know their guests/and vice versa, but even so i expect a certain level of professionalism(is that too far a reach to ask for in a flushing bar? maybe?). It doesn’t seem like most of them are even working– it seems like they just harass the customers. Look, I can understand trying to be friendly for the sake of chatting up the guests in hopes of a bigger tip, but outright flirting with them and holding our food/orders hostage until we play along with your vulgarity is just disgusting. Just give us the damn kimchi fries!!! Come on! We shouldn’t have to argue with our server just to place an order! Our server only relented his nonstop harassment when we threatened to call another server. On another occasion, my friend’s wallet was stolen while at the bar, and we highly suspect one of the employees of being the thief. The next day, when another friend went back to the bar to confront this employee, she was only met with loud, rude and vulgar hostility. Like seriously… WHERE. IS. THE. DECENCY??? E-Dah seriously needs to make some changes. Their staff is out of control, completely unprofessional and petty. I truly question the integrity and age of the staff members here. The food and the drinks are still great– I just can’t stand the people working there. Check your personal issues at the door before you clock into work, don’t bring it with you. If you’re working and you want money and tip, try being mature and cordial, I’m not asking for the best bartenders in the world, I just want to be able to order food and not worry about the staff going through our bags and stealing our wallets.

Bartenders are generally clueless as to mixology — so if you’re planning to order anything that’s not on the menu or not a glass of some kind of liquor neat or on the rocks, forget about enjoying any well balanced/mixed drinks. They have a good variety in anju dishes to compliment your soju or beer, but it’s definitely not a place to settle on for an actual meal. I was in a terrible mood and since I had to stop by Flushing anyway, on a Saturday night(around 6pm), I decided to grab a drink before heading back to NYC or NJ(a question that I thought we’d answer while enjoying a drink at E-Dah). We were the only customers at 6pm — not surprising. We sat at the bar. Here’s a suggestion — TURNONTHEDAMN A/C. What’s wrong with you people? You have a GIANTFAN at the front that blows towards the bar area, which(1) ruins any styled hair(2) prevents you from blinking much(3) feels like I’m on a treadmill at the gym or a ghetto laundromat. TURNITOFF. I don’t know what the price of my drink was, so I can’t comment on the pricing. I’d like to note that I don’t know how old the cranberry juice used in my goose + cranberry mix was. The bartender pulled it out from the fridge underneath which, quite frankly, he looked surprised to find. Ah, feeling awfully irritated, I just downed the thing and ordered one more before heading out. My SO ordered two Macallans, and at first, the bartender did not know which bottle was Macallan — understandable… wait, no, that’s not understandable — you’re a bartender. AND It was staring him in the face. Anyway, I have no idea why they changed the name from Prince II because nothing’s changed. They have good karaōke/drink deals, but there’s so many karaokes nearby where you can BYOB. While I don’t care much about choosing karaokes based on their pricing or whether it’s BYOB, I sure as hell don’t want to spend more than an hour tops at this place. I’ve been in their karaōke rooms before and they’re unimpressive. I like bars dim, but it’s so damn dark in there, it makes me feel like they’re purposely trying to hide something — swiffer much? If you’re a smoker, go out the back if you’re too lazy to go to the front. Women’s restroom’s is upstairs(men’s is downstairs).

Thanks to Carmen for hosting the after party here! I didn’t know what to expect. We sat down at a communal table. Shots shots shots! In 15 minutes: We got to try soju, peach soju and yogurt soju. Yogurt soju is delicious. Nice to chat with Unilocalers that I didn’t get to meet at Arang!

The address should be 160 – 34 not 160 – 24. It is the old Prince II location. Menu is pretty small. We came on a Sunday at 8PM and had the whole place to ourselves. Fried chicken — not that crunchy and kind of fatty. Will not order again. Spicy rice cake — soft, not too chewy, normal Seafood pancake — amazing. The perfect amount of crispy and seafood. Yogurt soju — really good. Not too sweet and not too much or too little mix of soju v yogurt.

These are the same owners as Prince I and II. The menu hasn’t changed much and prices are pretty good. They’ve added BBQ and some combination platters that make it a pretty fun night out. I’m a little upset that we lost the Jamppong Noo Rung Ji Tang but they have something similar on the menu that had some Udon noodles in it or something. The staff was pretty attentive. I gave the bartender a run for her money as I was ordering mixed drinks like there was no tomorrow. This is where they earned the 4stars. I ordered a liquid cocaine and they completely messed it up. When I mentioned it to them they had no problem making the drink again to my specific instruction. Same went for this other drink that tasted like Robitussin. I said I didn’t want it and they quickly changed it out for another. I don’t know if they’ll always be offering service like this but for that night I was happy. FYI — There was a bouncer at the front checking for ID so make sure you come prepared. All in all, had fun and I’d try it again.

Strike 3 for this place. The first strike came after going to this place with a friend. My friend tried to be slick and pay for the bill early so it would be all paid for when it came time to pay. We ended up ordering more so when the bill came he thought it would be for the extra drinks. Instead the whole bill came without having taken off for the initial money my friend paid. A honest mistake or a silly trick thinking we were drunk??? They get it right and we pay. They come running out to say the tip is incorrect. Tip is for service you poofs. Its not an automatic given. Strike two! Last night was strike 3 and 4. A friend wants to go and against my better judgement we go. There was a hair in the salad… no real apology. No replacing the salad… nothing! Finally we ordered the pork jowls. Holy ish was it terrible. Truly if you wish to waste your money you can try this place. The server was nice but sheesh the manager doesnt know what he’s doing. At the end of it. I see them trying to make sure the tip is correct. They are definitely in it for the short haul.

I used to come to this place a few months ago and went to Europe for a while. Came home to a whole new staff. Tried the food im used to getting and it still taste great. I usually get the yuké(I think thats how you spell it in english) and the kimchi jjigae. The staff is great. Very polite and respectful. Im glad to see the owners are still the same and still involved in daily business. The new manager has made my visits the best experiences I have had with the establishment as he can hold a great conversation and work at the same time. Overall great experiences, excellent staff especially for being completely new.

The usual k-town spot for drinking souk cocktails ranging from the mid $ 20’s for a large patron bottle! Great to bring a group of friends and enjoy the soju! Once formally known as Prince II now E-Dah serves food as well! I’m not sure of their food is good but it can’t be wrong if your pumping your stomach up with alcohol!

As clean and pretty(?) as a Korean bar/restaurant gets in Flushing. The staff is attentive and the food is surprisingly yummy. With the $ 100 johnny black & fruit platter special, it doesn’t get much better. With three or four karaōke rooms upstairs and a backdoor smoking area, Edah is the go-to spot.

This was my first experience with Korean BBQ and I will definitely return. We ordered Premium Sliced Pork Belly and Prime Boneless Marinated Thin Sliced Short Rib, at the suggestion of our waiter. He did a great job making us feel welcome, since as the only non-Korean people there, we were a little out of place. Everything was delicious! It’s more of a lounge/bar atmosphere than a restaurant, which was great. It was laid back but I could see it being a really fun place to bring friends and just drink and eat until you’re wasted. I’ll definitely come back the next time I’m in Flushing.
