It’s okay. I personally like the bada story across the street a lot better. Everything tastes like fish… Even the salad.

Horrible restaurant with a sorry ass excuse for service. Came in at 8pm and was told by the owner 20−30min wait. After waiting for 45 mins, we asked the waiter how much longer. they don’t know how much longer. At this point we were getting annoy as people kept getting seated while we sat there waiting. We also noticed that all the table are put together for groups of 4+. After 1 hr, we ask the waiter how much longer will it be and she replied I don’t know we have reservations. Now What pisses me off is they are telling you to wait, giving you hope for a god dam table to free up but really it’s wasting your god dam time. If your fully book, don’t tell a customer to wait 20mins then 40mins then say idk we are too full. Also there is no reservation book in sigh This kind of crap service is unappreciated and they should burn in hell. Waiters are also very rude maybe it’s a race issue as everyone is Korean and we are Chinese. One of the waiter kicked my fiancée and didn’t apologize and when we comforted he just walked off. Went to baba story next door and got serviced immediately like a professional restaurant and food was amazing.

Fresh sashimi, great service, comfortable ambience!!! Watch out for the massive amounts of awesome side dishes if you order the sushi/sashimi sets. The variety and quality of sashimi surpass the other local Japanese sushi restaurants.

Wow. I visited this place recently for my sister’s birthday. We got the $ 100 sashimi set, tempura udon, and some rolls… now, this was way too much food for 3 people! The sashimi set comes with an ABUNDANCE of delicious side dishes. I think these were the stars of the show. All of these dishes together could’ve been our meal. Nothing else, I would’ve been satisfied! Some of the dishes included a WHOLE fish in a delicious sweet sauce, eel(yep…EEL!), huge clams, fish cake soup, Okonomiyaki(I believe), creamed corn, large shrimp, pork skin, deep fried stuffed pepper, spicy fish soup, sweet glutinous rice, congee, and so many more dishes I can’t even remember. They were all very good! Now, I’m not the biggest fan of sashimi, but the pieces I did try tasted fresh and melted in my mouth. The biggest gripe about this place is that they don’t have pictures or much clarification on the menu, so make sure to ask the waiters for help. They were very nice and looked happy to be there. Would def. come back!

As proud Flushingites we’ve been to every sushi restaurant in town. This is hands down the most fresh of the lot. Try the sushi, sashimi or mixed platter — you will get an endless array tastebud tickling sukidashi before being presented with the main catch. Five stars, highly recommended.

I have eaten sushi, sashimi and Korean food all over the world, including 1 week at some of the best restaurants in Seoul, Korea. The food at Hae-In was cooked to perfection with a wonderful flavor profile. Every dish that came to the table was a wonderful treat placed on a beautiful presentation. This restaurant brought me back to my week in Korea minus the 14 hour flight. I give this restaurant the highest marks and will definitely be returning.

Amidst the sea of Korean bars a new sushi/sashimi place has opened up on Northern Blvd; Cheong Hae Jin closed a while ago. Came here for my dad’s birthday today and ordered the sushi/sashimi combination deluxe($ 150). Was it worth it? I thought so. Between 5 people, we became full for the amount they served. On top of that, I love Korean sushi place for one reason though, the appetizers. Korean sashimi restaurants are known for their grilled/baked/steamed goods served before the actual meal. This place was no exception. For a total of $ 185(including a drink order of saki and tax), the price isn’t too bad. Meal was filling and and the fish was definitely fresh. I took a star off cause the waiters were all over the place. I saw three people serving one table…
