Very tasty food ! This is my first time in his restaurant and I was really pleasant with quality of food and pricing as well. Our server Bryan was very knowledgeable and gallant. Highly recommended.

If i could leave a 0 stars i would 1 star is too good this is the Worst restaurant i have ever experienced in my life
The waiters do not communicate with each other it took me 45 minuets go get a coke
I asked for sushi to be cut in 8 pieces the lady brought it in 6 pieces and told me i never said anything about 8 pieces when i asked to look at her note pad it did say in big writing cut in 8 pieces she took it back and cut 2 pieces of the sushi in half at this point i don’t know what to do she stated the sushi man didn’t understand but they both did not understand the sushi tasted like vinegar and the rest of the food wow so bad i didn’t let them give me a fountain coke because some how they would mess that up can’t go wrong with the can but i guess when you wait 30 min for ice that it is possible to mess up a can of coke
Now i have to go get something else to eat

My gf family brought us here for birthday dinner, and we were nothing but pleased with everything this place has to offer, we all started with combination salads plate — served with 4 oven warmed pita which I would highly recommend for open dish, right after we finish we got the steaks and the baby chickens that were cooked precisely and made of fresh delicious meat. The only thing I would recommend them to change is the amount of waitress.
They were too busy and quite inpatient for any questions about the menu probably due to the fact the the restaurant was packed

Very good kosher steak. Came with family of 4. 2 got steak, 1 pasta, and 1 sushi. All were happy with the variety on the menu. My steak was cooked perfectly. Very juicy and flavorful. The process were easy lower than places of comparable quality in Manhattan and it was easy closer to our home. There valet parking was appreciated.

I came with a party of nine with an advance reservation. When we got there, they seated us on a table for 7 and told us to slide over and they are very busy and don’t have room for a table of nine. I asked to speak to the manager and they said ok, they will get him. Half am hour later and appetizers served and still no manager. At this point I was sitting off of the table and trying to lean over to eat my food. Finally after I asked a third time, the manager comes over and «apologizes» and says he is sorry but they are very busy and there is nothing he can do right now. I asked him why he said he could accommodate a party of 9 if he clearly could not and he said sorry and walked away. Did not even offer to comp a desert or appetizer or anything (mind you we had a 400 dollar bill). Food was decent but customer service and managers were very rude and I will not be going back. There are much nicer places with significantly better customer service that I will go to next time.

Good kosher food– has a big menu and the waiter was very nice and service was quick. No complaints, clean nice atmosphere. A bit over priced for what it is wouldn’t call it a steak house but it’s consistent place to get good food… Nothing spectacular

Lets start with saying that I usually do not like Hummus. so I dont really go for it but the person I was eating with said this place was known for hummus. so we got it. We got the mushrooms with hummus and oh my god, it was so good, we couldnt stop eating it!
We got chicken and pasta, another person had salmon, we also got the house steak
Lets start with the entrée dishes over all, when we asked for string beans, I expected wonderful sautéed string beans no, it was cold string beans in this weird red sauce, I would say I was the most disappointed in this.
Also thought the house steak was good but for a small size. it was like 54 dollars… yes steak was good, but it was so small. and too expensive. But since the place is a steak house we knew we had to order and try it.
Pasta was good, entrée was a good size, nothing extra ordinary but definitely not terrible.

The best steak house in queens and service was very professional. The setting is very calm and friends/​family were please of the choices of food and wine. Highly recommended!

I came here on a Sunday with a pretty big party to celebrate the birthday of a friend. Let me say that I honestly didn’t expect the service I received.
Usually with a big party we wait around because it takes much longer to service 15 people than if its just 2 of us, however the way the waiters were moving and trying to make everything perfect was a great plus for this place.
That tall guy, whose name I think was Sam, really knows how to take care of the customers. This guy was all over the place getting me my specific orders just how I wanted them. Try this guy out, ask him for a drink while he’s just running past you working on someone else and he actually wont forget unlike most of the waiters in New York. But seriously, the other waiter was great too, Sam (tallest guy there, I swear he’s a giant) though you are something else, keep up the great work.
Now the food. I’ve gotta say the steak I had was amazing, add in that humus that came for God himself and you’ve got yourself an excellent dinner. My friends all ordered different items from the menu and I was told the chicken was to die for as well. Love the fact that they have a bar as well, just makes the night more fun if you know what I mean.
Overall I had a great time with my party. Will definitely be coming back and requesting that waiter everytime and I’ll definitely get his name and update my review if I was wrong. Great job with the employees and food here!!!

I came for lunch, ordered salad sampler (babagunus, hummus, avocado salad, spicy eggplant), chicken kebab, and house steak, it is okay, nothing is special. House steak is pretty good, almost like Peter Luger, but it’s boneless, but i don’t thinks is potter house, it’s pricey, $ 42 for 14 oz, add mushroom sauce for $ 3, may be it’s just me.

Love this place great food good ambiance, I have been coming here for years and have yet to be disappointed. They have the best sushi and their chicken mix is to die for. I am going back soon.

Not as good as it used to be. I ordered a burger with fries and my husband got the steak. Quality and customer service has really went down.

For a kosher steakhouse, this restaurant is excellent. In between being over crowded and a almost nasty non smiling hostess, the food and the good service made up our evening.

This is my 4^th visit so I had to quickly review it so I won’t forget again. I like the service here, today’s waitress seemed like she knows what she’s doing. Sundays are busy at this restaurant because it’s a kosher steakhouse so it’s the day every family meets… and eats? Hapisgah has a few sections on their menu: sushi, chinese, american and some mediterranean style cuisine. I ordered pepper sizzling chicken. Hubby ordered combination steak and chicken kebab. Mommy shared with us. This is to show that the portion is pretty big here. My chicken was sizzly-​done, with all the smoke got into my eyes and I couldn’t see for a minute, boy it’s worth it! I thought I would go blind but when it comes to food, I see clearly, my vision is ²⁰⁄₂₀ *8) They come with 2 side dishes, so I had rice and string beans. I don’t prefer overcooked vege! I’ve encountered a few restaurants that serve overcooked string beans and this place is one of them. Aside from this overcooked string beans, my sizzling dish came out good. Four-​star for the service but not into their vegetable much. Kosher poultry and meat were good. Although it was extremely busy, we didn’t have to wait for the table because people come and go all the time. Avocado salad looked good, we ordered it to go for hubby’s niece. The check wasn’t so bad, quite reasonable. Try at least once if you like kosher steakhouse.

Gotta admit the food here is impeccable, worlds best. And freshness comes standard.
A regular here and it’s perfect every time

Great food with great service. It’s good for groups and family. be sure to make reservations. The food was good for the most part, great appetizers. My favorites were the hummus with chicken and mushrooms, get a selection of several salads like matbucha, babaganosh, avocado and potato salad, Moroccan cigars. The kibbeh was dry and tasteless. For entrees your best is to go with the steak which were great. The chicken is good also — baby chicken or the Persian chicken.
Overall i Had a great experience and I will be coming back

I ordered house steak medium well with the special mushroom sauce. the food is amazing. i would recommend this place and I will come again.
