I really wanted to find a delicious bowl of beef noodle soup. I tried this place on the recommendation of a New World Mall food court vendor. The beef noodle soup was just okay. The noodles were pretty good, but the soup didn’t have a flavor that stood out. I did enjoy adding as much pickled mustard greens to it as I wanted. Not particularly memorable or good.

I’m glad to see that Happy Beef Noodle reopened in the New World Mall food court and it appears that the business is doing fine with the same quality food. I love their crispy chicken as it’s the closest thing to the street vendors of Taiwan that I’ve found here in NYC.

I still love this place. Best noodles in Flushing. You’re not going to find a better place than this.

Can this be the Happy Beef Noodle House that was on Prince Street? I was so sad when it closed because it served one of the best beef stew noodle soups ever! Then I ventured to the New World Mall food court one day and noticed a new stand that was labeled«Happy Kenji Beef Noodle»; the English name was slightly different, but the Chinese letters were the same as the original place, and the menu looked almost the same. I decided to give it a try, and I am 99.9% convinced it is the original Happy Beef Noodle House! Everything was still as delicious as I remembered! A friend of mine also tried the pork chop with rice, and she said it’s one of the better pork chops she’s had. LaoMa, you have competition for my palate!

This is the old Happy Beef Noodle House on Price St( ). They closed the store in 2012 and now moved into the New World Mall Food Court. Same old good beef noodles and traditional Taiwanese side dishes with a reasonable price. The popcorn chicken noodle() is my new favorite!
