No frills. Just a simple, comforting beef soup. What is it: A traditional korean beef soup with rice.(Sogogi gukbap). Literally, «beef soup rice.» Just a tad spicy, with lean pieces of tender beef and some cartilage. They also have thin rice like noodles with a dumpling. Lots of goodies in there. And thats the only one thing to order here. Only 3 side dishes but they are good: –Green chili pepper with fermented bean paste(don’t eat the seeds!) –Fried eggs cut up in strips –Pickled radish cubes. Not too sour that they have a bite. Just right Prices as of 2⁄2016 is $ 11.99 for the soup. We ended up paying $ 14 – 15 after tax and tip.

The beef soup was so good! I took my BF here and he ate two big bowl of rice and 3 side dishes of eggs LOL the eggs tasted like homemade eggs which made us ordering 3 refills. Nice owner :)!

I couldn’t find the menu when I arrived at the restaurant and nobody was taking my order. Then I noticed the sign on the wall Menu: park San bai beef soup with rice $ 11.99…and that was it. No other choices and no need to order. 2 minutes later it showed up in front of me in a hot stone bowl. The soup was excellent. I will definitely be back. Love this place!

Only have one item on the menu which is the beef soup. Warmed and filled me up; good proportions! Food+tax+tip is roughly $ 15. Not bad for authentic food. Will come here again.

Sat down. No need to order. They already know you are there and will bring out the banchan and rice first. They only serve one thing and one thing only(at the moment): the best homestyle-gookbap-piping-hot-and-oh-so-good-you-won’t-know-you-burned-the-bejesus-out-of-your tongue-until-after-you’ve-finished-the-whole-bowl. The first taste brought back memories of korea, grandma, family, almost got me teary eyed. I left fully satisfied and very happy. Will be back for more. I have yet to try the place in New Jersey but this place will do for now.

The weather has turned cold. Brrrrr. I have a bad cold(sniff sniff cough sniff). I pass this place many times on my way to Leiser’s Liquors on the corner. Yesterday I didn’t need wine or liquor. I needed HOTSOUP. I parked right outside and needed to go to three parking meters to pay. Even with quarters two meters didn’t work.(Not cool NYC Parking Dept). I went inside(it was warm inside). I told owner lady«Soup». There isn’t anything else to order. It was about 3PM and every table was filled with customers slurping away and eating kimchee and fried egg etc. When my soup arrived it was BUBBLINGHOT. I dumped in the rice. The steam from the soup warmed my face. Another single guy walked in and saw there were no other open seats. I gestured that he could sit at my table. Why not? It’s a small friendly place. We’re all in there getting our«fix» of hot soup to warm up. I’m a nice guy(with a bad cold.) He was a nice guy. We ended up talking while we ate. We both commented that the soup was very good. We also noted that I was the only non-Asian customer(I’m good with that) and that the owner lady is Korean… but her kitchen staff(women)…who are also waitresses… seem to be Mexican. America is amazing. New York City is amazing. Queens is even more amazing. Flushing is even MOREAMAZING. Look at this: A tiny Korean restaurant serving ONLY(great!) hot beef soup… filled with(mostly) Asians and one Italian-American(me) owned by a Korean lady with a few Mexican ladies(they might be from another Spanish-speaking country) and we’re all doing just fine.(Political Comment: Screw you, Donald Trump.) Price: Soup $ 12+ $ 1 tax = $ 13 + $ 2 tip = $ 15 Sure…you can eat a can of soup for $ 2 but it won’t feel like this. I know… this is a long review for a tiny place with only one thing on the menu. Sorry. Bottom Line: I liked it a lot and I’ll go again.

Korean food with two items on the menu, beef — cabbage soup and cold noodle kimchi soup. Comes with sides of radish in a spicy paste, roasted seaweed, eggs with scallions, and Korean hot long pepper. The place was packed and the food looked pretty authentic. It tasted very good too.

Just two things on the menu. Simple enough. Walked in and sat down. Didn’t need to order since they weren’t serving the cold noodles that day. The soup came out within minutes with a side dish of kimchi. The beef soup was delicious! Great for a cold winter day. I remember saying«I wish I could have this whenever I get sick» I’ll be back to try the cold noodles

Small place with about 6 – 7 tables. It does get busy at times and you do have to wait but oh is it worth it! They only have one thing on the menu now which is the beef soup. The price went up couple dollars too but still not a bad deal for what you get. Came here on a chilly day and the beef soup is just what I needed. Soup was flavorful and it warmed me right up. The portions are just right too. Def will be one of my fav places to eat on a chilly day. If your in the area and craving something hearty that will warm you up, check out this place. You won’t regret it. =)

There are only two items on this menu: cold noodle soup or beef broth. This is the best menu ever. Update: the beef broth increases to 11.99 from 9.99.

Delicious food. Winter time menu is only the beef soup. Price also is increased from before. Well worth the trip, very humble establishment and workers as well. Warms the soul.

When I first tried this spot, I was hooked. The beef soup has great flavor and comes with good portions of beef and noodles. The side dishes are peppers with gochujang dipping, Korean rolled omelette, and kimchi and they give refills if you ask. The soup gets placed before you bubbling in a hot stone pot so please be careful not to burn yourself. I came to this spot at least once every two weeks for a good fall through winter. The soup used to come with a dumpling inside which they seemed to have discontinued. Also, I once asked to have some leftover soup and meat wrapped up to take home and was pleasantly surprised that they added more soup in the to-go container!

Cam here on a Saturday around 1:46, it was moderately filled. The owner signals us to sit down. We wait at the table for 5 minutes with no interaction with anyone. Soon the waitresses bring out a piping hot beef and dumpling soup with a little spice With a side of fried eggs and radish Kim chee and spicy jalapeños It was a unique experience. As they only have one item. And the owner speaks Korean to her non Korean waitresses. The owner looks mean but I saw her interacting with some Chinese kids she was very kind . The newspaper on the wall says that they have been open for 3 family generations . The food was very authentic . I would stop by again if I was in the mood for Korean beef soup.

Ordered the beef soup to go for dinner tonight. I picked it up 10 minutes after placing the order and it was waiting for me at the counter. That’s a good thing since I was not able to find parking on that busy street. The Korean lady was very nice and just told me to leave $ 11 on the counter. Brought the food home and was a little afraid that the soup would be spicy. But it’s actually not and tasted delicious with a nice beef broth flavor. There were a decent amount of tender beef pieces and noodles in it as well. The order also came with side dish of kimchi radishes, egg and rice. Everything was delicious and will definitely go back again and try their kimchi cold noodle.

Really awesome traditional Korean food. I love the beef soup so much! Came here in a cool rainy day, it warm me up. Small place but a lot of people coming. Only two items on the menu but I saw someone else order additional food. I don’t know if they have a secrecy menu or not lol. Anyway, you really should come to try their soup, will come soon especially the weather will getting colder.

Hole in the wall. The soup is very good and soul comforting. I was having a cold and feel much better after it. Almost every one eating there is korean and customers keep coming in while we are eating. The best part? They serve hot omelette as appetizer

Whole in the wall and that’s an understatement. Only 2 items on the menu. In my opinion/experience, the shorter the list the better the food and this place was no exception. The soup is simple yet very flavorful and light. Wife and I started our all day eat-a-thon here and it was the perfect spot to wake up our tast bugs for another one of our all day food tour in NYC. Simple home cooking no bs.

It’s awesome how one restaurant with one dish(beef soup) can last this long without closing up(given the high rent prices). This makes me wonder how yummy the dish can really be, tried it with my friends and it’s actually very fulfilling; feels like home cook. It’s self-service so you’ll have to get the tea/soup/order.
