— For a diner, this place beats many other diners. Server is attentive and food comes out quick! Best part is, open 24⁄7!

This is old school diner. I sat at the counter and ordered eggs, bacon, toast and coffee. Fresh off the grill. Coffee great and hot. Healthy portions. Quick and friendly service. Easy parking. All a true NYC experience

While I’ve eaten here a few times, I won’t be eating here again. It’s your basic diner menu, decent selection, but the food is just ok. They don’t always have items listed — i.e. twice now they’ve had no grits, which is listed on the menu. It’s a small dining area with the seating a little too close. Though it has an A rating, I’m not sure I believe it. After I ate most of my meal today I saw that the jelly packet that was on my plate, touching my food, had syrup and crumbs stuck to the bottom & sides of it — I didn’t have syrup nor did anyone at the table, and there wasn’t syrup on the table. It appears that this packet was on someone else’s plate, touched & dirtied but unopened, so they used it again, on my plate where it touched my food. No idea how many times this packet has been plated, touched, dropped, spilled on, etc… before it ended up on my plate. Ick.

The waffles with ice cream, sugared walnuts, whip cream, and fruits were sweet, nutty, soft and most of all delicious. The big breakfast with 2 pancakes, the beacon, the sausage, the buttered toast and the home fries were a perfect combination of sweet and salty deliciousness. If you sit by the booth you will be served by grandpa himself. He is friendly, quick and he always refills your hot chocolate and coffee instantly for free. Overall the cozy family diner is good food at a fast paced family service.

Oh Uncle Bill, Uncle Bill ! How amazing you are. If i only knew who the actually uncle bill is i would hug you so hard for bringing us this amazing diner. of course like any other diner this diner is 24⁄7 i think even on holidays also i am not sure, The food here is delicious no matter what you get. If you come here for breakfast be ready to wait a few minutes to get a table because the breakfast here is amazing, dont believe me? Go before 11 am and let me know how long you waited. This diner isnt huge but its a decent size but the important thing here is the food, the prices are that bad either and the parking is huge and free.

The staff here is friendly and I’ve been coming here for a few years, but the last three time I came the food’s quality has been going downhill. This time I came with friends and nothing was very good. The rolls were cold and almost frozen in the center, the spinach pie’s phillo dough was soggy and chewy and the eggplant parm actually had freezer burn. This place used to be good, but it seems they’ve gone to almost completely frozen food and don’t even store or heat any of it up properly. To top it off the milk shake had a very weird and chemically taste to it.

This is my first time here and I’m coming back soon. This is so far the best dinner food I’ve ever had. Before this honestly I don’t like dinners. I have been to a few dinners coz my husband likes them. Such as the what-hops all the time. Or some famous dinners around bayside. They r fine too but the problem is there is no food attracted me to go back. I can forgive the services or the atmosphere but I need to eat something that I feel like to eat again! Here the home style potatoes is one attract. The onion in it gives enough flavor as well as itself is properly cooked. Not soft till it soggy neither hard like it’s uncooked. The eggs are tasty the reason I say it because when it is just an egg it is harder to cook it just right. My scrabbled eggs came soft with moist but definitely well done and not juicy. To my satisfaction! We are at the bar and service is really welcoming and professional. We appreciate that. We will definitely go back again soon.

I’ve ordered some simple stuff from here before and it’s always been pretty good. I usually get the food to go but for the first time I actually sat down and ate at the diner. Very friendly staff and very accommodating! For my sit down– I just browsed the menu and the Philly cheese steak wrap sounded good so I ordered it. Definitely not a disappointment! Was very good! Sometimes it’s a hit or miss with these. You can get one that is really greasy or leaky– but this was right on the money. It came with fries too which I added cheese to– also very delicious! The diner is very clean as well. Prices are reasonable. I also like that they are open 24 hours. If you’re in the area check it out! You can’t miss it if you are on the highway either haha the sign is huge.

The big breakfast sucks, no flavor and the pancakes were some what rubbery. Stay away, there has to be a better choice.

Do not order hot water! They will charge you $ 1.25 for it and mark it on the receipt as «tea.» Food is generally overpriced and quality is mediocre. Go to Pop’s Diner on Kissena Boulevard instead. You get better food for a much cheaper price.

Good place to catch some fast food but slow on getting your checks. I guess I shouldn’t be complaining. Haha Good diner food, but slow ass service. Don’t ever come here hungry!

Best burger around flushing, everything else is ok. Service is decent, parking is ample, consistency of food is decent. Been coming to this diner for 5 years? lol, finally I am writing a review.

This review is for their eggs. They were nicely cooked(over easy), bacon crisp and french fries good. The iced tea tasted a bit strange. It’s located in a shopping center that could use some sprucing up. The service is fine.

Basically, a nice atmosphere. A decent option in a strip mall of fast food joints. Service deserves a 4. Décor also gets a 4. Food, however, was a bit mediocre so that earned a 3. Prices were average so also a 3. Mushroom omelet was okay. Mushrooms were a bit more raw than preferred. Didn’t even taste sautéed. Corned beef hash was good. But then again it’s CBH. It’s always good. Eggs were scrambled well and home fries for both meals were well done. Crispy on the outside, nicely seasoned, with slight burns here and there. Pretty good Disco fries were definitely interesting. Imagine regular fries, drizzled in a cinnamon-hinted gravy, with a few slices of American cheese on top. Overall a good experience. Wouldn’t mind coming back for a pre-movie quickie. But would definitely encourage some creative flair if possible.

Had to do a thing for work out here and this was about the only stop. I realize at 3am on a Thursday they aren’t quite ready for a rush, but my job has been doing a lot of training out here and there was one waiter for the entire place. Needless to say, it took forever to get our orders than our food. My coworkers grabbed chicken finger platters and I got hash and eggs. The platters looked quite underwhelming. A few pieces of chicken and a handful of fries, for $ 10. My plate was much better. 2 eggs, hash, potatoes and toast. It was standard, good, but nothing special. The place looked clean and all, but it wasn’t really a spot I’d go back to. The food was mediocre and the prices were high. The wait time was too long, and they are sorely understaffed for having an MTA depot and the NYPD academy across the street, along with all of the construction.

I’ve been here at least 20 times in my lifetime, and each and every time, I have a good experience. I’m not sure why the reviews here aren’t as good as they should be, but looking for a good diner around Flushing ain’t easy!!!(coming from an Asian who lives in Flushing) Their breakfast option is probably the most affordable and delicious option you can get. I can’t comment on anything else as I don’t typically eat their lunch specials or dinner specials here. Even when I come here on a weeknight at 10pm, I would still order the breakfast special, because it’s that damn good.

Does this place discriminate against redheads? I sat down at the bar here, though not really all that hungry & there was only one couple in a booth here. I saw them cleaning up in the kitchen & thought maybe they were closing soon yet they didn’t lock the door. I waited and then more people came in. I saw another couple sit in a booth & get served. Then more people came in, sat at the bar & one lady got served. Some of the people were the same race as me so I figured it wasn’t racial discrimination but newsflash for the guy working Sunday night: YOU are the server. I saw another customer have to go pester this guy to get another cup of coffee & he wasn’t exactly tied up with tons of customers at the time. I was not about to go ask the SERVER to serve me. I didn’t even get a menu. Obviously, I’m not coming back & can’t feel motivated to try the food.
