I’ve eaten here several times while waiting to depart LGA. This place has great food and a great location. Yes, it’s expensive, but what do you expect from an airport restaurant? If you are flying out of one of the nearby gates, this is a perfect place to relax, eat, drink, play iPad games. The pork belly sliders and Croque Madame are YUMMY. Each comes with a plain side salad(just lettuce with lemon basically). The vanilla buttercream cupcake is also AMAZING. It’s huge, so definitely a good one to split with a friend. Service is usually very quick and friendly. This last time, the music was a bit too loud — I felt like I was shouting at my coworker sitting next to me. But I’ll be back, I’m sure. :)

I ordered through the iPad about 15 minutes ago. I even paid already and all I got was a long island. Just received it while I was typing. Not that busy that it should have taken so long but oh well. Despite the horrible reviews I decided to give it a chance after asking one of the employees in the airport where he recommended I go for a drink while waiting for my flight. Well you may want to go somewhere else. On a positive note they have outlets and USB ports to charge your decides so I just have them 1 star for that. I didn’t try the fold but no one next to me is either.

Despite the low reviews, I had a very positive experience. Of course the higher prices almost made me skip breakfast at the airport. But upon approaching the counter, a young man with a funny lil mustache came from behind the counter to invite to explore the menu using the ipod at the counter. I don’t what it is about ipods at the counter that makes me intimidated but I doubt I would have ordered if it wasn’t for him. Anyhoo… in order a standard breakfast sandwich on country bread with eggs and bacon. It was delicious! But what stood out was the coffee! I drink coffee daily and most times I’m disappointed in the options available at airports. This coffee was so smooth and yummy! I wish they gave free refills on a basic cup… but this is the airport and no… that wasn’t happening. If you stop by and meet the guy with the funnt mustache, tell him I sent you :)

Expensive, sub-average food — decent by airport standards but definitely not great. iPads and charging stations are a nice redeeming touch.

Mimosas are mimosas. Croissants are croisanntie. IPads are fancy. It’s a great place to stop for a quick eat.

I did not like this experience. It was unfriendly and the food was below par. I had a tomato bisque soup with a Mediterranean salad. It was not busy at all but my soup came out like warm. It tasted okay but who like eating cold soup. I liked the salad until I noticed two cherry tomatoes that looked rotten. I was almost done so I tried to ignore it. The ‘waiter’ got my plate and asked how everything was. I pointed out the cherry tomatoes to him. He took it to the ‘chef’ and the told me they were suppose to look that way. They come in all colors as he indicated. I know they do but usually they are the same color lathe way through and not pink on the outside and dark brown on the inside. Unfortunately, they ask for the tip when you order and so you can’t change your tip when you get bad service and low quality food. See my picture of the tomatoes and let me know if you think they were bad.

Yes, 4 stars. It is not fine dining but a million times better than the stuff at the food court. It is right in front of gate C 31 and has a pretty large selection of foods and drinks including duck tartines, salads, quiches, cheese plates, truffled Mac and cheese. And the list goes on. I had a mocha with an added shot of frangelico and an old fashioned donut. This is what all airport joints should be like. Just watch it so you don’t miss your flight.

It’s a cool concept where there is an IPad at every seat. It’s on a fixed stand and you use it to order your meal or snack. Then, you can use the IPad to surf the web. There are also credit card readers at each station. In essence you don’t really need any human interaction except for accepting your food. This isn’t to say people are not available. There were a bunch of staff behind the counter. The concept is ok, but it seems a little stilted. After all, someone with an order-pad and a pencil would seem to work just as well or maybe not as well, but with more human-to-human interaction. I’m not complaining really. This might simply be a matter of humanoids getting used to the digital interface before we have our chips inserted. This latent anxiety over autonomation is much like when they stopped having gas station attendants fill up your car. People hated it at first. Now people hate it when someone tries to fill up your car — like in Portlandia where self-serve gas stations are outlawed. Anyway, the food and service were fine. They a little disorganized behind the counter and it seemed like it took a while to get my order. Or maybe it didn’t take very long but it just seemed like it because my pecan roll was under the glass counter top just inches away. A little pricy perhaps($ 7.50 for coffee and a roll), but hey it’s the airport, free surfing and only 10 seconds away from my gate — so why not.

They’re still new and might be improving over time. The customer experience is definitely unique because of the iPads. The interface was straight-forward, although I had to search for the card swipe for a few seconds. My order came within 15 minutes, which seemed reasonable. The establishment is very chic and feels elegant. I didn’t experience any but there seems to be a few kinks to work out of their processes. However, everyone around me seemed to have a similar, positive experience.

$ 18.46 for the driest, most poorly made chicken sandwich I have ever had. thats right, sandwich — no drink, chips, nuthin’. Stuck between flights at LGA(why else would someone eat here?), had to grab something quick. There’s no «quick» about this place. IPads all around a bar with seating — just needing a sandwich to go so I could make a flight, i tried to order from the«cashier». Though not sure why he was there — told me I had to order thru one of the iPads. Then he couldn’t find the chicken sandwich, told me because of the menu change? I found it for him — classic case of not taking responsibility for his own error. Anyway, no sense of urgency making the sandwich. Not an easy to use app for ordering — AND they automatically add in a 18% tip(welcome to NYC)! Not even a «thank you». Horrible experience. If you find yourself stuck here, walk to he nearest Hudson News shop and buy a prepackaged something or other — you will be glad you did and will save $ while doing it ! LGA as a whole is a joke, difficult to navigate, unfriendly staff accords the board — I guess this place fits right in.
