Went here last night with my family. We originally wanted to eat at the buffet *which i later found out is located at the 4th floor but i pressed the wrong button so we ended up on the roof. First thing when i noticed when i got off the elevator was a bar. Turned to my right and BAM floor to ceiling windows and a view of NYC! I am a sucker for nice restaurants, one look at the place and i knew i had to dine here that night. This establishment is located on the roof of the hotel and they welcome you to walk on the balcony. We took so many pictures that night because the sun was setting and the lighting was just right. From our plush seats we were are able to see the Manhattan skyline as well as the whitestone bridge. This place is a literally a breath of fresh air, finally a restaurant in flushing that offers a nice view while you eat. I ordered the angus burger which i think was okay. The patty and the bread tasted very commercial. It came with a side of fries which were okay as well. When I left i asked if they offered brunch and they said they did and they gave me a lunch menu. I would return here just to sit and watch the view and order drinks and appetizers but probably not for any of the main courses.

Place looks new and modern. Came on a Sunday and this place was sooooo empty. The location is so random, but there’s a free shuttle bus that runs about every 30 minutes from the hotel to main street flushing. The View de point is located on the 4th Floor of the hotel’s rooftop. Too bad there was too much fog and cloud on a rainy day, but the view would’ve been nice. I could only see the lights from Citi-field through the rainy fog. There was space for seating outdoors, however due to rain and fog, only the indoor seating was set up. Staff is very helpful and attentive. There was a choice of a course meal during dinner. It was more like two course charging $ 25 per person. You get a choice of appetizer and main, and coffee or tea with your meal. I guess they don’t really specialize in desserts which was why it wasn’t a THREE course meal. If you look at the menu, they offer Lady M cakes, I’m pretty sure they don’t make these on site, but they get it from a third party. Ordered salad while my significant other ordered the soup. When the soup came, I couldn’t tell if they used a can of Campbell’s cream of mushroom and dumped some of their own herbs and ingredients in, but it tasted almost too can like. Not bad not good, but it was alright. Salad was just normal baby spinach and some kind of balsamic reduction dressing. Main course was a rib eye steak and grilled chicken. I must say the rib eye was pretty good. It was moist and had plenty of sauce, but there was a lot of fat around the meat. The fries that came with the steak, I would not be surprised if it came from the Ore-ida fries that I usually get from the supermarket. Grilled chicken dish. three piece of chicken stacked on top of each other. Some of it was dry and some of it was moist, but the sauce next to the chicken made up for part of it’s dryness. It was almost tasteless without the sauce. Come here for the view, but you can try to skip the food. It’s not worth the $ 25. If you got cash to burn, this would be a neat spot to take a date on. It’s quiet, peaceful, and nice views when the skies are clear.

This restaurant definitely was not really a French establishment. This restaurant is on the top floor of a hotel in Flushing. I would assume that most of its clientele are hotel guests with limited options. My family wanted to check it out because of the«view». The restaurant itself has a nice airy feel with modern furniture and fixtures. There’s also a really nice and big outdoor space, which is great for the summer or big parties. We all tried different dishes on the lunch menu. Granted the prices aren’t that high compared to Manhattan restaurants, but this is in Queens and the quality of the food isn’t that great. The hanger steak wasn’t good at all and already cut into pieces. The burger was just a regular burger. I wasn’t really feeling the food at all. What really made irritated me more was that my $ 3 small cup of coffee did not come with refills. I really did not enjoy my meal at all. The service was ok though.

Terrible service and a pretentious manager. We waited twenty minutes after we sat down before even someone acknowledging us. The first thing the manager said to us was«we are busy, you should be patience with us.» Don’t bother coming here.

Came here for my wedding rehearsal dinner recently for a group order of around 30 people to include 8 kids. As previously reviewed, the view is extraordinary! The food was fantastic, especially the Salmon, WoW!!! The staff was exceptionally attentive and accommodating, we were thoroughly impressed and look forward to going back.
