Walgreens

I always end up at this Walgreen for one reason or another. This place is very well stocked and clean. Their prices are kind of high on certain items but overall not a bad place to shop. The worst thing about this store is the lines. During peak hours the lines seems to be mile long and it takes forever checking out.

This is the closest Walgreens to me. But I’d rather drive to the next closest than to go here again. The line is always long, they don’t have a separate person for the photo section, you have to wait on the general long line to ask for your photos. I ordered only 3 pictures one night. They were supposed to be ready that same night. When I go get them in the morning, they weren’t even ready.

Badly managed. Very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very long lines all the time.
Best plan, ¹⁰⁰⁄₁₀₀ times: Don’t go in.

I love that this is a two minute walk from my home and that the prices can be quite low on many things. They have prepackaged foods, fruit, and everything in the store seemed well-​stocked, especially the beauty section.
The only thing I really didn’t like was the subpar service, i don’t even need to go into that if you’ve been here any amount of times. So I took of two stars for the inconsiderate staff and cashiers, and the long lines.

Joan, the pharmacy intern, from the pharmacy was so nice to me, she kept the mood light while being very professional.

This is gonna sound weird, but this is my favorite Walgreen’s location. Sometimes the lines are long, but it moves fast and they’re open late. Always find what I want. Their beauty section is very well stocked. Some of the aisles are cluttered, but not too much. Also near a lot of the major Flushing bus lines. So it works out.

I love this Walgreens! Besides the fact it is a pharmacy I come here for these following reasons too.
Reason #1: They sell Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream! The only place that sells this brand of ice cream in the area.
#2: Ever since Walgreens and Duane Reade became one this walgreens sells premade foods. I sometimes come home late and wanting a wrap or salad so I come here to purchase whatever they have left. Though it is pretty pricey but it’s the price you pay for convience and laziness lol
#3: If the supermarket across the street don’t have frozen pizza sell I usually buy the walgreens brand frozen pizza. I know there are a few pizzarias in the area but sometimes its all about the convience.
#4: Their makeup selections are great and their beauty and self care aisle is huge. This is the only pharmacy in the area that sells beauty, bathroom, hoilday theme items, and much more.
#5: They carry Popcorn Indianna popcorn and Skinny popcorn brand, which are my favorite healthy popcorns that I turn to for snacks. Not a lot of supermarkets sells these brands. So far Walgreens and Waldbaums carries these brands. Oh and Boom Chicka Pop popcorn is not sold at walgreens but it is also good, healthy, and delicious.
Warning though their cashier lines are massive and slow. Sometimes they only have one or two cashier that’s open. Be prepare to wait, but if your lucky they may open up the line at the makeup section and/​or the photo section too.

I’ve been coming to this particular Walgreens for at least 15 years now, and it really has been a necessity for me and for my family. They’re open until 12AM, which is great if it’s late and you realize you need toiletries or other items. They Do offer parking in the rear, but you have to walk around to the front as they have sealed off their rear entrance. Granted, I live two blocks away, so it makes no difference to me, but it might to you. Metered street parking is generous though.
Ever since Walgreens bought out Duane Reade, the organization and design of this location has improved substantially. The selection is much greater, the prices are fair, and it is well managed. The only downside is that their cash wrap is usually understaffed, so you’ll find a line of customers about 9 – 10 deep for their one (sometimes two) cashiers.

Been going here for 10+ years! Great people, lots of pharmacy services, convenient location. Lots of sales, low prices, and the member Balance reward savings program is another plus!

This store is a life-​saver for me. Anything that I want and anytime of the day, upto midnight and I can just walk into the store. The only minus is the cluttered aisles and inconsiderate staff.
Not organized well either
all in all, its fine to get your stuff if you really need something.
