love love love! first time trying these out and not only am i so thrilled with how they look, but was incredibly happy with tessa, her communication when booking the appt and the instructions, her demeanor and expert hands! the time flew by (1.5 hours) and she was as gentle as possible — didn’t feel a thing! she is really a pro and amazing at her craft! highly highly highly recommend her! and on top of it, i called her monday and eventhough she had a busy week (coachella) she opened up early for me since i have a special event to attend tomorrow!

Tessa is possibly the sweetest and gentlest lady the universe could send to grace your face. Her warmth radiates the second she opens the door and welcomes you into her studio. Have questions or concerns? No problem, Tessa has tips and a wealth of knowledge to ease your troubles and doubts.
I was kinda nervous about getting extensions at first, since I tend to be clumsy and oafish in my daily life, my beauty routine is super minimal, and I swim/​am active. Tessa assured me that it would all be ok, that I could try them out to see how I felt about them. Also, that once I get them, I’d be hooked on the aesthetic and the ease of use. Allllllll. Soooo. Truuuuuuue!
After about an hour and half of comfortably slipping in and out of relaxed naps, I woke up to find the softest, natural-​looking, most feminine eyelashes. I could not believe it! We were both giggling with excitement.
I’s been a month now, and I’ve gone and done everything with these babies. Been blown in the face by windy rains in Seattle and just straight up wind in Chicago. Taken my regular showers and washed my face every day. Sweat, rubbed my eyes, worn eye makeup, cried through a wedding. AND THEY’RE STILL IN.
I love my lashes!

AMAZING! Tessa did a great job. I waited a week on purpose to write my review. The reason is that I wanted to see how my eyelashes would look after a week. Can you believe they are still full and pretty A week later? Thank you again and I will booking an appointment for a fill soon.

Hello Unilocalers, I want to tell you about my creat experience with Lux Lashes. I was refereed to Tessa by a friend. She was extremely happy with her eyelashes extensions and they looked amazing. I made an appointment a week and a half in advance. Lux lashes is located in the heart of Down Town Los Angeles.
I arrived 5 minutes before my appointment and Tessa greeted me with a warm hug. Right away she started a conversation and made me feel very comfortable. She explained the whole process before we started. The whole process took about an hour and a half. Time flew by quick and didn’t feel a thing. It was great talking to Tessa during the while she was attaching the eyelashes.
Once done I looked in the mirror and was extremely pleased with my results. These extensions completely changed the look of my face. I can’t wait for my next appointment.
I will definitely recommend Tessa to all my friends.

HIGHLY recommend! I am so thrilled with my lash extensions from Tessa. My experience with her was flawless from the moment that I called for an appointment.
She is really organized and thorough. After our phone conversation to set a date/​time, I received an email confirmation from her which included clear instructions on how to prepare for our appointment and what to expect. I really appreciated this since it was my first time getting extensions.
The process (including the discussion of my lashes and the look I wanted to achieve) for my first full set took approximately two hours. I knew that she was taking great care in applying the individual lashes. She was extremely conscientious of her movements, and I was comfortable the whole way through. The time flew by since Tessa’s personality is so warm, and she is fun to chat with. At the end, she provided me with care instructions and a spoolie in a cute bag.
The lashes look so ahh-​mazing! Usually, I wear my beloved liquid liner on the daily, but I do not wear any eye makeup now since these extensions really glam up my look on their own. They are lush and fluttery — perfection! See my photo for my results. My morning routine has been cut down thanks to these lashes.

I came to Lux Lashes for the first time before working EDC in Vegas. This was my first time ever getting lash extensions and they were amazing! They were long and beautiful, and Iooked great without having to wear any makeup. They lasted me about 4 weeks before I had to get them filled. Tessa is really sweet and her place of business is relaxing and cozy– highly recommended ! :)

Lashes are totally gorgeous. Lashes are totally addicting. You literally never wear makeup again. It’s insane. You can run out the door and never think twice. You don’t have to be a total glamour puss to love em. So all of that said, Tessa kills at this.
Her studio, in the heart of DTLA is super cool. Great vibe and profesh as the day is long. She’s adorable and makes you feel right at home. The table you lay on as she does your lashes is like a CLOUD. I had trouble getting up. Like, I did not want to leave. She knows what she’s DOING. The results are stunning and you’ll wait to go back again and again.
Best of all, her prices are REASONABLE and won’t break your bank. You’ll feel gorgie and ready for everything in this life.

I was always skeptical of lash extensions, so when I decided to do them here I thought it would be just a one time thing. NOPE, I fell in love with how they look and feel! I have been getting them done with Tessa for 5 months now and love it. Tessa is extremely professional and is so gentle with her application. If you have never tried lash extensions I highly recommend trying it out here. You will wake up with beautiful lashes every morning and don’t have to goop on any mascara. It’s a game changer ladies.

She is a miracle worker. So pleasant and professional. She is no half stepper and completely made me feel comfortable. Sold.

Just left Lux Lashes and had such an amazing eyelash experience with Tessa. Great location, super cool energy and well educated lashologist. Tessa explains the process and makes sure she is giving you what you want in terms of look, length, style etc.

I never ever write Unilocal reviews, but let me tell you! When I got my lashes done, I thought they were gonna fall out quick, but they lasted over a month. Gently wash around your eyes if you want to keep them the longest. They looked amazing! I literally will take a trip from LA from Sacramento. That’s how much I loved them. When they fall out your lashes will look how they normally do. It just feels naked without them cause the extensions are full and beautiful, I can’t wait to get mine done again! They’re the best thing to have when you don’t feel like doing your makeup! The lashes make such a difference! In a good way! I highly suggest anyone to get them done! You’ll loveeeee them so much!!! :)

I’m not the type of gal who typically puts too much into her appearance. I get semi-​annual haircuts and my idea of getting my nails done is when I take out my nail clippers. That said, after getting my lashes done by Tessa for my month long backpacking trip — I can officially say that I am obsessed.
Tessa has a real knack for getting to know you as a customer and giving you just the right amount of lash.
Tessa has done my lashes twice now. The first time she did them was for a 4 and a half week backpacking trip through Europe. After sleeping on trains for 14 hours and living out of my backpack in hostels, having the lashes were a godsend. They looked great and gave me just the right amount of polish and confidence while still looking natural. Also, they stayed on the ENTIRE 4 and a half weeks!
The second time Tessa did my lashes was just before my friend’s bachelorette party in Las Vegas. This time, we went a little thicker to fit the venue.
Both times my lashes looked fantastic, natural, and stayed in forever.
I would also be remiss if I didn’t mention that Tessa also has a wonderful bedside manner. Having your eyes taped up while having foreign objects glued to your lashes isn’t the most comfortable experience, but Tessa has such a soothing and entertaining demeanor that you almost forget about it (almost!).
Tessa does a great job and I would definately recommend her to anyone!
