Round Table Pizza

First Round Table where I’ve had such excellent customer service from everyone! The pizza was fantastic. First time at this location but I will be back!

As far as Round Tables go, this one is consistently delicious and the customer service is quite good. Most of the negative reviews here are petty gripes.
I worked for the Round Table on Riley many years ago and can tell you, the high volume pizza business is incredibly challenging to be consistently good at. Even the best predictions on time can be difficult to fulfill when orders pour in fast and furious.
We frequent this Round Table for their Monday night special and even given how insanely busy it can get, our pizzas are consistently well made. I’ve ordered from a few other locations from here to the Bay Area that I can’t say the same thing about at all.

My online order for PICK-​UP was not ready on time and when I asked if they would offer a discount they said no. I consider that bad customer service and am so annoyed to be waiting for my order that I already should have been able to pick up.

Usually good, but I only eat King Arthur’s Supreme original crust. Not very objective.

Round table pizza is always good. First time at this location, I usually go to the one off Riley. We ordered to go and the other location is ok with giving 2 containers for the salad bar (since you can have seconds or thirds when you’re there anyway). This one was a no go. Different management/​different rules I guess

All you can eat pizza and salad. Thats all there is to it. Seating is available most of the time and there’a even a small area for children to color and play games. They have the claw machine to try to win stuffed animals as well. They have cold beer on tap. Their tv usually in on ESPN so im guessing you could catch a game on.

I went to Round Table pizza in Folsom for a Mon Night Game Night with one of my Meetup Groups yesterday.
Good: The pizza, especially Maui Zaui, was delicious.
Con: It took them about 3 frickin hours to make the frickin pizza. Folks who ordered to go got their pizza before our group.
Next time, I’ll eat somewhere else before attending game night at this Round Table Location.
If you want to go to a round table location, go to the one off Landess in San Jose, especially on Tues night because they have all you can eat pizza buffet and they actually take requests.

As I sit here still waiting for my pizza, I have to ask how does it take an hour and a half with me still pizza less? Get it together… I only ordered on large Maui zoui

They always deliver within an hour and it’s always warm from the oven! The delivery drivers are always nice and friendly. The always give us the 15% off that they have in there Unilocal add!

The price I don’t think its worth it. Paid almost $ 40 for a medium pepperoni and medium Hawaiian… They weren’t even very big mediums… Absolutely ridiculous. However they get 3 stars because some of their specialty pizzas are pretty awesome. I would just never get one unless it was some one else willing to pay that much for it.

After I posted my last review, I was contacted by the ownership. I was assured that my concerns about being given another patron’s ‘unpicked up’ pizza were not true. I’m still not convinced but there is no way of knowing for sure. We emailed back and forth and my questions were answered and opinions heard.
My son’s baseball team had a meeting in one of their private rooms so this was a perfect opportunity to try them again. I wound up ordering our pizzas «to go» after the meeting. The pizzas were ready on time. The employees were friendly (as usual).
I ordered the exact same pizzas as last time. The All Meat Marvel on pan crust was better this time. The crust seemed to be cooked a bit longer and was not «doughy»!like last time. The King Arthur’s on regular crust was much better. The crust was crisp and not tough (like last time). Overall, my family was much more pleased with the pizzas.
We still agree that the Riley location seems better (even though the two locations have the same owners). If I had to rate the pizza on it’s own, I would be between a 3 and a 4 star rating. The friendly staff, clean dining area and ownership that cares about the patrons pushes it to a 4 rating (in my opinion).
I’ll chalk up my previous opinion as an anomaly.

Two pizzas and an hour later, delivered hot and fresh. Delivery guy even called to let us know he was on his way and to ensure us the pizzas were not sitting around. Girl on phone was patient with taking my order. Friendly place. Will order from here again.

One of the better round tables they have great customer service. The pizza is usually done when they tell u if not you don’t have to wait to long for it

We came from the bay area and Round Table was sort of our «go to» pizza place. The competitors in the area were Mountain Mike’s, Pizza Guys, Pizza Hut and Domino’s. The pickins as they say, were kinda slim. When we moved out to Folsom we found Chicago Fire, and that changed our perception on pizza. While the Round Table pizza itself is ok overall, it was a bit greasy and heavy, and slightly overcooked on the bottom. Even in the east bay Round Table was always hit or miss. Rare was the occasion we were blown away. For the same price I could head just a few minutes away and get Chicago Fire, which is my plan for future pizza cravings.

Picked up some takeout pizza last night. Got the Garlic Chicken Gourmet and Garlic Parm Twists. Pizza was delish. Twists were even better. Customer service was delightful. Pizza was ready when promised which surprised me for a Saturday night.
Pizza is pricey. ALWAYS go with a coupon. If you don’t have one handy from the mail, search on the Web for Valpak coupons. They always have great coupons and you can just show them from your smart phone.

To be fair: my review is based on the buffet. Not the ordered pizza/​sides.
The pizza was slow to come out, and didn’t have a lot of options. The pizza wasn’t bad, but not great either. But I get it. Buffet.
The salad bar was mainly iceberg. Blech. (It’s sad when I can say Chuck E. Cheese’s has a better salad bar). The bread twists were dry and didn’t taste very good. (Both the garlic and cinnamon.)
I do have to say that it’s a great family night atmosphere. Board games, lots of kids socializing with each other, TVs with the NBA Finals, friendly staff, etc. That was the only plus.

Roundtable is cheap but good pizza Who cares if there is wall paper or paint on the walls It’s all about the food

Half off Mondays and Family Tuesdays are two great things about this place. The staff here is awesome especially Molly she is always cheerful and greets me by name when I come in. I guess I may go here a little to much when the girl at the counter knows your full name lol

I was looking for a good salad/​pizza buffet for lunch. Like most cheapskates, I want to keep my lunch bill under 10 bucks. Sometimes these buffets are a total bummer. Like they put out one cheese pizza and wait till the last slice to cook another one. And many times the salad is nasty, wilted and rusted.
Round Table generally fit the bill. The buffet plus drink kept to my under $ 10 big spender budget. The pizzas were well stocked and the quality was ok. The lettuce was almost frozen, floating in cold water, but was tolerable. All the salad fixins were good, fresh and plentiful.
Overall it could be a little better, but it could be a lot worse.

Came here to pick up a pizza for my dad & had to wait 10 extra mins for the pizza but the cashier was very friendly and offered us drinks while we wait. I like this service :)
Tried this pizza once I got home and it was really good! It was a chicken pizza-​not sure the exact name. The only reason I dont give it 5 stars is because of the pricing its pretty expensive compared to all its competitors. Overall Id say that I was happy with this Round Table tonight.
