Have a great meal outside. Had to set a burger which was outstanding and huge. Two pieces of burger were equal to about four. It tasted delicious. It was definitely enough to share between two people. Great service. Very relaxing sitting outside.

Was searching for a good breakfast place in the area and found this one on Unilocal after doing some research. So glad we found it. I was visiting family and there was 7 of us including a 2 year old and 5 year old. We dropped by on a Saturday morning around 10:00. It was pretty busy so we put our names down and had to wait about a half hour. It’s a bit on the smaller side but we were able to sit in a large booth. The waitress was polite and patient, no complaints there. Really no complaints at all. I ordered the country scramble which had their homemade delicious biscuits with a sausage patty, scrambled eggs and topped with tons of gravy. Country potatoes on the side. It was an enormous serving. I was only able to eat about half. In fact all of our food came in huge servings. I don’t think any of us was able to completely finish was we ordered. But we definitely wanted to because everything was epically delicious. This place will probably be our family go-to now, thanks to the amazing food and good service.

I can go into the list of what went wrong but the bottom line is you don’t kick anyone out of their table!!! and do not brings your kids. They will get trampled by the large party that they allow take over your table. The lady who closed us out was nice enough to remove the coffee charge & take an additional $ 10 off. However I will never support a business that treats people this way. And neither should you.

We’ve always wanted to try this place but never did because it was always busy. Well, today we saw why it’s always busy! Fantastic customer service, cute diner atmosphere, and the food was incredible! Even though they were packed, the food came out in about 10 minutes! The staff was jumping to keep up and did a great job at it. Friendly too! They kept stopping by to make sure everything was good, empty plates were bussed, and drinks were refilled. The food was so good that I cleaned my plate, even though I was full about halfway through. I got the Belgian waffle combo; the waffle was so tasty & that had to be some of THEBEST bacon I’ve ever had! Definitely stop in if you’re in Old Folsom & don’t let them being busy stop you, because it doesn’t stop them.

This place exceeded my expectations! I’m on a Paleo kick and really wanted to have a cheat day and eat a burrito. I kinda told the lady that took our order and she figured out a way for me to stay on track! A bowl of chicken and carne asada with lettuce and pico de gallo and I had to add the guacamole ! The green sauce is pretty amazing!!! Very fresh and great service! If I ever come back to Folsom, I’m coming back here! Provecho!

We ate here on Friday morning 5÷20÷16 for breakfast while the Amgen Tour of California Time Trial was going on. Best meal of the week. We were travelling following the bike race and my wife and I enjoyed the breakfast and service here so much we came back for a second try on Saturday. Definitely a place I will visit again if I’m ever in the area! Was a very laid back breakfast café with very friendly people and they all smiled from the cooks, to the servers, to the guys wrapping the silverware. Made us feel comfortable.

We came here because we saw good reviews on Unilocal and love trying new restaurants, decided to try it out before catching a movie(hour and a half before the movie, we figured we had plenty of time). And we are never coming back here because we waited 30 min before the waitress took our order. We watched her take an order or someone else within 5 min of them arriving. We had to stop a busser and remind him that we still haven’t ordered, and when our waitress finally came, she was extremely rude and acted like we were a hassle. I’m sure the foods fine, I don’t know yet because we still haven’t gotten our food, but I’m never coming back here, the service is terrible. Update #1: we finally got our food, and the order is wrong. Unbelievable. Wish I give this zero stars. Update #2: we corrected the order and it came back wrong, again. More expensive than what we initially tried to order. We’d correct it but we’re hungry and don’t believe it’s worth it. Update #3: food was mediocre, the part that was correctly ordered. Not worth the money.

Went here for The first time on Father’s Day and have been back many times since then. Their breakfast is amazing! Especially the cinnamon roll! Staff is always very attentive and keeps the coffee full! I love that we are so close and get to enjoy it often! Even when they are busy, they get you coffee and will seat you quickly. Great atmosphere and location.

Definitely a ‘locals joint,’ where everyone knows your name. Quaint, kitchy location on historic Sutter Street in Folsom. Was hoping to be blown away. Maybe we didn’t ordered the right stuff. Had to flag down a waitress, and then ask for silverware. Kids pancakes weren’t anything special, even the kids didn’t finish it. Tasted some of the hubs pastrami sandwich. Good. Needed a bit more meat though. Tasty though. Just not feeling the food. Might have to try the country scramble next time. Loved the local feel and vibe. Maybe this is the type of place you go for the ambiance.

Delicious breakfast. Eggs Benedict was delicious spread over English muffins. The virgin Bloody Mary was quite tasty and Country potatoes were devine.

This is the place to be on a Sunday afternoon. The food was delicious and you can order breakfast or lunch. They seemed a little under staffed and stressed because the server kept yelling to her coworker and tables«I am stuck at the register» and it was uncomfortable because she was my server as well. Besides the service the food was amazing and very filling so come hungry!

WOW! I just loved this place. Nice little family run place that was clean, mom and pop, but still with its own little twist. I was promptly served my coffee for breakfast and that is always a good start, then they kept the cup full. I ordered an avocado, bacon, cream cheese, and bean sprout omelette. Very nicely prepared and delicious. Have several choices to go with the omelette, from breads, pancakes, cottage cheese, tomatoes, potatoes either diced or hash brown. I choose the cottage cheese and tomatoes. Service was great and it was obvious that they have several regulars as the staff was visiting and greeting by name. I will be back again tomorrow and again whenever I return to town.

I like the ambiance to this place it has a old school country diner feel to it. This place is usually packed inside but the wait is short. The food here is decent but the waiters and the other staff on hand walking around don’t really look like they want to be there. I was in the sweet and savory mood so i started my meal off with the humongous cinnamon roll they have. The taste of the cinnamon roll was good but you can tell they microwave it because it was warm in some spots and room temperature in other spots. As for my main meal I had the country scramble. I’m a sucker for biscuits and gravy so I had to order this dish. The gravy and biscuit itself was flavorful. With the addition of the hash browns, sausage and eggs it makes this dish extremely filling(which is a good thing).

Went back and tried the cinnamon roll french toast. Didn’t know until that day that something could be so sinful yet heaven sent. Amazing!!! –1 star because wait Staff needs serious organization.

If your in a hurry for breakfast during the weekend… This probably isn’t the place for you. But if you have some time & are looking for really great food & maybe some shopping afterwards, then you should check out Sutter St Grill! During weekends expect a wait! I don’t think it’s ever been more than 30 minutes & they even have coffee & sometimes a large cinnamon bun cut up outside while your waiting, but it’s usually quick & in my opinion, the food is worth the wait! I usually order the chili omelette(rich & meaty), but since I made chili for dinner the night before, I ordered the #19: avocado, mushroom, spinach & Swiss cheese omelette & a side of biscuits & gravy. The omelette was delicious… Fresh, light, cheesy & huge! The biscuits & gravy(DELICIOUS) were rich, creamy & again a huge portion! My sister & I split the omelette & biscuits & gravy or else there would have been way too much food for either of us to finish & I don’t like to reheat eggs. If you tell your waitress that your splitting the meal, they’ll split it for you and you’ll be served with two separate plates(a nice touch). Our breakfast cost a little over $ 20 dollars & even though there was a bit of a wait for a table, we were in & out of there within 30 minutes. The staff is extremely friendly and they make sure to check on you regularly! It’s a kick back restaurant that serves great food! If your ever in the Folsom area or checking out Sutter St around breakfast/lunch time make sure to check it out!!!

Mmmm! French toast, sausage pattie(huge!) and 2 eggs. Added the mixed berries. SUPER tasty… the bread was a not quite as moist as I would like it, but still really good. Giant coffee cup, fresh squeezed OJ and incredibly friendly service rounded out our breakfast experience. I saw lots of other things I would try on my next visit.

Decent breakfast spot in Folsom but some of you may be able to do better at home. Food: I had a mushroom and swiss cheese omelette, potatoes and a pancake. Good portions and overall tasty food. I was satisfied. My only complaints would be the experience trying to be seated(lack of clear directions — no one standing near the entrance), my eggs in my omelette had no salt or seasoning and the cheese was an insane amount(look at my picture — straight up ridiculous), I could feel my heart slowing down to pump all that cholesterol out of my body. And the potatoes needed salt but had really good seasoning. Good tasty, pancake! Prices are decent, not cheap. My food was about $ 9.25 plus the cost of coffee.

I’m actually really bummed that I’m writing a poor review about this place… My Husband brought me here a couple of years ago on a Sunday mid-morning. It was busy, but my Husband insisted it was worth the wait(He’s from the area, and I’m not.) Well, it absolutely was. The server was great, the food was terrific, and we were able to sit inside in the air conditioning– did I mention it was August? HOT. This past Monday my Husband and I decided to head back for another great experience. [Insert sad, pitifil«Awww…» here.] There were only about 4 tables to 2 waitresses. We decdied to sit outside on the porch. It took about 10 minutes before we were acknowledged, and the waitress who addressed us seemed rushed. We ordered water, juice and a coffee(that I never got…) After that, we ordered 2 Bloody Mary’s. She, very dryly, said«show me your ID’s and you can have whatever you want.» And when I say«dryly,» I mean that the statement had the potential to be funny… had she not radiated bitterness. I ordered an omelette, and my Husband ordered a waffle with bacon and eggs. The food was pretty good overall. The wheat toast in particular was delicious– oh, and the bacon, too! This is the hard part, but… the Bloody Mary’s were awful. Truly poor quality… Sorry guys… Maybe change up the mix? It tasted watery and sweet as apposed to savory and spicy. My Husband very politely flagged our waitress down to say, «I’m so sorry, but I don’t like this, and I would like to send it back.» I followed suit with a, «I’m so sorry too, but I don’t like mine either. Everything else is so very good though!» The waitress kind of sighed and said, «It’s fine. It’s fine.» I didn’t really start thinking about it until afterward, but… why the hell would it be okay to make your customers feel guilty for being polite? It wasn’t right. It put a damper on our breakfast. We ended up leaving a huge tip because my Husband felt so bad about not liking something… You know… we all have those really bad days, but if we can put on a happy face and remain professional and courteous, I feel like she should be able to as well.
