Just called to place a order for delivery at 7:30 pm. and they said they’re not delivering because the driver is taking the car to school … What kinda shit is that? And also you’re closing early? Lol. Must have got the lazy ass employees or something. Was looking forward to it. Not anymore.

Sushi delivery in Fontana?! Yes! The sushi itself was so-​so, but I was kind of already expecting that. It wasn’t bad though. Delivery was fast and friendly; my food arrived within the time frame that was promised. I was happy to be able to get my sushi fix without having to leave the house.

The food is great here i just hate finding flies in my to go orders. The first time should have been good enough NOT to get food here anymore even after i recommended they keep a mesh door thru their back kitchen door but the second time i found a fly was truly a sign not to come back anymore. :(i miss you Charlys.

Love that they have a variety of foods and it’s all affordable. Sunday’s are the best because they have buy one get one half off on sushi!

CHEAT MEAL YASSSSS
This review is only for the food and delivery. I’ve never actually sat in their tiny take-​out/​delivery joint to enjoy my food because I have things to do.
Just kidding!
Like a good American, I place a to go order, or request a delivery and do some «Netflix and chill”-ing at home or a friends house. This place has no ambiance and I’m aware of that.
Anywho, onto the food!
This place is a haven for junk food cravings but don’t eat here all the time because yikes, its a little fattening! The best items to my boyfriend and me (and we don’t always agree, since he likes spicy food and shitting like a god damn tornado) are the pastrami chili cheese fries and the California rolls. The pastrami chili cheese fries should not be eaten on a daily basis but my god, my good god, they are my cheat meal of choice. Juicy pastrami slices top some nicely seasoned french fries that are covered in their mildly spicy beef chili and CHEESE! I think its just regular or American cheese but so what. AMERICA.
The California rolls are not too mayonnaise-​y and not rolled with excessive amounts of rice. So they are great. But my favorite guilty pleasure is the popcorn shrimp. Oh my goodness, it is delicious and so cheap. For about $ 5 you get a large order of deep fried shrimp and that is a meal in itself. Sometimes we’ll get a California roll and an order of popcorn shrimp and combine them at home into a «HOMEMADE» CALIFORNIA POPCORN SHRIMP ROLL.
My boyfriend the diarrhea machine likes the Mexican Roll and the 911 roll which are incredibly spicy. I can only eat like 2 pieces from each roll. Everything is also reasonably priced and they recently added a delivery service which I tried a few weeks ago. Delivery times are usually quoted as 45 minutes to one hour which is fair considering they heat everything up or prepare your food when you order. Technically, you can eat here but this is comfort food and it’s really best enjoyed at home.

and **call** to confirm they received your order since this is still a newer service they offer (online ordering and delivery). I think they deliver in a 3 – 5 mile radius (call and ask, I can’t remember oop) but only after 7 PM. I guess you could call it a dinner delivery spot.

Just moved here in Fontana and I’ve been looking for a small fusion place like this. The place is clean, simple, and the food is pretty darn good. Prices are cheap. Will definitely come back here! Donut burger all day every day!

I had about 30 minutes to kill and I was in the area. I stopped in and ordered a BLT and a soft drink.
Both doors to the restaurant were propped open, I’m assuming because it was a hot day and they must not have A/​C. That was fine, it wasn’t too warm inside, but there were some flies inside which is a bother when you’re trying to eat.
My BLT came and it was very nicely wrapped in white paper and then cut in half. Nice touch to keep the sandwich together. The lettuce and tomato was fresh and good quality. It was served on toasted white bread with mayo. My complaint would be with the bacon. There was enough, which is usually my complaint. But this bacon was just very undercooked. It was chewy and I ended up having to pull much of it out and pull the fat off of it because it was so undercooked that it was hard to eat. I could have taken it back to the counter, but I had an appointment and couldn’t wait for a new sandwich to be prepared.
I would try again and next time order my bacon crisp. I was excited to see that they offer delivery service. It’s nice to have a delivery option that is not pizza! $ 15 minimum for delivery.

The food here is unique, especially there «Charley cheese burger» definitely a must try item on the menu! They have sushi, burgers and teriyaki. You’ve got variety to choose from! The employees are also very friendly!

Glad I did the sushi was good has the shrimp tempura roll & Pastrami sandwich. My girls had the chicken nuggets small which for kids was Alot but they finished it fast.
I’m going to be a regular here I want to try the donut burger looks great & from the other reviews looks like I will be trying it next.
Clean shop friendly staff amazing food what more can one ask for.
The reason I am leaving it 4 star was the sushi wasn’t as good as expected but the huge roll was enough to hit more of a 4.5 star review if I could.

I got a super crunch shrimp and baby lobster roll and they both looked and tasted the exact same Wich wasn’t even good to say the least .
And it look disgusting. Ontop of the nasty tasting food the stupid ass delivery dude forgets to give me my mango shake. I’m like wtf I called them to see if they can call him and send him back. they said he has to go back to the restaurant then come all the way back. And he never showed up!
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY !! Seriously I’m not one to post bad reviews but this place really sucks!!!

My family and I had lunch here for my son’s birthday. As first time diners, we immediately loved everything we saw. I’m talking about the menu and their prices are reasonable. The food taste very good. We’ll definitely come back here in the future to try out some sushi. I recommend this place for the whole family.

Needed to eat something before grocery shopping! The place is small and could have been a little bit cleaner. I likely went in after lunch time rush. Food was fresh and they give you lots of fries. Fries were a bit soggy and had no seasoning. I will give them another try. They have sushi too!

This place is awesome! The sushi in on point !! The guy who takes our order is an awesome friendly guy. totally recommended this place

Checked this plays out on a whim just to try it, i use to love this place years ago when it was a hole in the wall little shack.
Since it has been upgraded and it is presentable and clean but still has great food with great prices.
They deliver and have buy one get 1 ½ off weekends on sushi.

Always wanted to try this place and it was recommended by a friend. Today had the spider roll and club sandwich. The roll was warm and the wasabi was dry and the ginger no pop to it. The guy at the counter did not even offer chops sticks had to use a fork. The club sandwich was not bad. Will try it again for the pastrami but no warm sushi for this guy only warm sake.

I was actually Very disappointed.
I went around 11 am to try their food. I was very overwhelmed by their menu, and wanting to try a bunch of different things, before I gave up and decided to play it safe with the teriyaki beef bowl. My friend got the pastrami burger.
The teriyaki I ordered was pretty disgusting. The meat was mostly inedible and fatty. I had to spit out most of it.
My friend liked his pastrami burger but said his French fries were flavorless.
I wouldn’t eat here again. It’s hard to mess up teriyaki. And make me pay 9 $ for fat.

A small spot with a lot of variety. Ordered sushi, a roll, and a donut burger combo. Sat inside. More of a fast food feel. Employee was friendly. We finished almost everything. We plan on coming back to continue to explore the menu. Most likely will do take out seeing it is so close to home.
I very much enjoyed my donut burger. A bit sticky but so yummy. Will probably crave this now. The sushi and roll were good. Portions were nice too.

Honestly, one of the best things about dating a man from another city is having him bring you unexpected food from there. :P So, on this random day, he brings me a donut burger and possibly an «Alaska Roll?»
Ok, so the burger is weird it’s a given, a glazed donut with a patty, avocado, cheese, tomato, and a smidge of mayo. They grill the donut haha, grill a donut. sounds funny. But, that’s what they do and the patty was a bit dry, but not greasy and the avocado was fresh and bright green. Overall, it’s a novelty, and if I went there again, I’d get it again because it’s oddly satisfying for a novelty. (I’m not a huge fan of novelty, they tend to disappoint like no other.)
Anyway, then on to the Alaska Roll. Never, EVER ask a person who’s never had sushi, let alone heard of sushi, buy you sushi lol. It just doesn’t work out. The Alaska Roll was basically a CA roll with salmon sashimi on top, but it tasted and looked more like smoked salmon (thin and dark). The CA roll was good, just like most CA rolls, but the additional $ 4 for «salmon sashimi» on top wasn’t worth a penny.
Overall, just stick to the donut burger if you’re ever in the area. 4 stars for decently cheap prices and weird food for the belly! Absolutely beats getting a donut burger from Chicken Charlie’s at the L.A. County Fair for a gajillion buckaroonies! So, go get ‘em! Happy eatings! :D
