Worst flamebroiler around. I ordered angus beef veggie and the bowl I got was half full… Wtf you can only imagine what serving size you would get if you got the mini bowl. Meat was tasteless and dry. Not going to be come here again. Was of $ 10… Go somewhere else to eat!!!

Just left after ordering two combo bowls with extra meat and extra onions in the drive thru. It was fifteen minutes prior to close and I should have known better. Waited about fifteen minutes. I’m sure it was the owner helping me in the window, and confirming I wanted both sauces. The other young adult hands me my food in one bag and a smaller, feather light bag. I asked the young guy if he gave me sauce and he said it was in the other bag. Of course, I’m guessing I must be stupid and it’s there, magically hidden. So I go home, and of course it wasn’t there. Is it worth complaining about? I don’t know. I never complain and I never call and talk to anyone. Maybe that’s why I end up getting mediocre service. I’m not going back to this place though. Good luck to the rest of you.

Horrible chicken! Purchased two chicken bowls HALF the chicken I had to throw away. I would not feed this to my dog. I took a picture of all the chicken that we had to throw away.

I’ve been coming to this place for about 3 years now. This place is always empty, floors dirty, and the food never tastes fresh. Just when I think«maybe the last times were just a fluke so I’ll try it again» I keep getting terrible service. This last time I went there, the lids for the drinks didn’t fit properly like someone ordered the wrong size or something.

Good food for a good price. And great value and the employee told me where the air conditioning was center nice touch. That should make double star post

Healthy and Yummy! I love how you can substitute white meat vs dark and you can add more steamed vegetables instead of rice. Its a quick and easy option for people on the go that don’t want to sacrifice they’re diets.

The ongoing saga between flame broiler vs waba grill continues here are my comparisons between them Flame broiler Grills their chicken and beef in a flat grill setting a la Wendy’s or McDonald’s. Brown rice is a free option here green onions are put on the food for you Has this xtra hot green sauce that along with the magic sauce and hot red sauce makes it a good combination Cleaner, quieter and have a television to watch at Less expensive than Waba Waba grill Grills their chicken and beef in a charbroiled setting a la Carl’s jr and Burger King. Brown rice is extra Green onions are self served can put as many as you want Only one type of hot sauce and magic sauce. Noiser, messier and no television My opinion more flavorful than flame broiler but More expensive. Conclusion Both locations are good but cannot compare to the ultimate teriyaki bowl place located in Long Beach called Golden teriyaki bowl #6. That place is the best teriyaki bowl I have ever tasted and the Unilocal reviews speak for themselves. I drive over an hour just to eat there or when I go to a LA Galaxy game That’s nearby. Yet if I’m in a budget I go to flame broiler, if I want more flavor I go to Waba.

It was edible, I guess. I got the chicken bowl. The chicken pieces were small and dry, didn’t taste fresh. The was ok, again, didn’t seem fresh. It was very warm inside the restaurant and the owner or manager was eating an apple behind the counter. I’ll stick with Waba Grill.

Went there yesterday for lunch and everything was as expected. Service was fine food was good. «Asian women», as per Luis C. offered me hot sauce without asking for it. Luis, maybe she read your Unilocal! For a $ 6.50 lunch combo that will fill you up, this is a go to spot…

Always I’m the one convincing my wife to eat here but after this trip here, she will be the one begging me to come here. I got the works plate. My beef was very try. Taste like beef jerky :( Also the guy at the window appeared to be also painting the walls inside. Not sure if he should be touching the food I’m eating as well. Just an observation though…

I work near by, and I was excited when I heard a flame broilers was opening up … The first few times it was ok. My orders were correct and food tasted good. Recently my orders are not made correctly nor do they taste the freshest. The first couple of times that my order was wrong I just dealt with it and ate it.. But when it became consistent. I called and spoke to the manager and told her my order being wrong had become a constant problem. She asked me to go back and they could make me a new one, however the food would need to be «untouched» I explained I was at work n I went during lunch. She asked if I could go after work. So wtf am I supposed to eat. She said for the troubles she could give me an extra stamp on my card … Lol !!! Never again !! Happy they opened a waba grill right next to my place of employment :) tastes better and way better service

Been here many times and it’s had always been a pleasant experience until my last two visits. Food is still great imo, but the service is getting bad. Both last times I’ve been helped by an Asian women(sorry for term used) and each time she has been rude. I asked her for extra hot sauce the first time and she gave me an attitude and told to ask for it before I got my god next time. Today she gets mad because I asked her to stamp my card after I got my food, she tells me next time don’t forget to give it to her when I pay. Like wtf! Bring back that Mexican drive thru attendant that was there before!

Second time that I come and the chicken tastes old, it’s clear the owners don’t pay much attention to the quality of their food.

Waba vs. Flame Broiler: Teriyaki Beef Bowl Battle Pt. 2 Now to the other side of the battle! The similarities between the two are striking. Their menus are nearly identical. The prices though are slightly different. Brace yourselves, peeps, the beef bowl here is a whopping 4 cents cheaper! While we’re on prices, I got me a beef bowl and a regular drink for almost $ 8 while at Waba’s it’s nearly $ 10. Wait! Before you start singing Kumbaya, let me splain! Here there’s no $ 1.50 avocado option sadly. I’d gladly pay extra for it, avocado makes everything better! The beef bowl itself wasn’t bad. You can’t screw up beef and rice, right? Add some«magic» and hot sauce and it does the job well for $ 5.95. I do wish though they had green onions out for me to get because they don’t put enough, or maybe I’m just addicted to green onions. Verdict: you can’t go wrong with either place but if I had to choose a winner, it’d be Waba because I preferred the beef more there and they had more meat and topping options. Like I said, both are good eats and make my tummy smile, the choice is yours. Happy eating!

Craving a chicken bowl for dinner and ended up at the World Famous Flame Broiler, everybody knows about these delicious bowls of sweet goodness right? That sauce is so unique, nobody else can get that same taste. Service was top notch, I’ll be back again and again.
