WaBa Grill

Love WaBa Grill but sometimes their chicken isn’t as good as other times, maybe it depends on their cooks? Hate the fact that they tell you their about to close and there is still enough time to eat there but i guess they just want to go home.

I’ve had it several times. Not bad. Not that fantastic, either. However, it was delicious and elible. That’s all that matters. Point of eating, is to not strave, right? Then, there you go. A good option, instead of running to Basket Robbins across from it. XD

A little on the unpleasant side. Prices seem much higher here than other locations. I got a half and half bowl with a side of extra meat. The extra meat was $ 4.75 and only had a choice of chicken or beef. Other locations are about $ 3.25 for extra meat and if you order the half and half they give you the half and half extra meat. Owner must do better to upkeep the place. Might not be his or her fault though. The shopping center itself looks old and run down.

Where is the owner! Place should be call The Crusty Grill??? Crusty tables, crusty mildew cleaning towels they clean tables with. Somebody complain to corporate office!!!

I sat and watched an employee take a wash cloth and clean about 9 tables with the SAME DIRTY cloth and two high chairs… not washing or rinsing it out once. She spread the same germs and dirt from one table to the next. Then, with her still bare hands, picked up the FIRTY door mat and placed it on the trash can. Then she took the already unsanitized cloth, still with her bare hands, took the trays she collected from the trash can and put them on top of the ice machine (I’m assuming to be wiped off later). To make matters worse, breath… she took the SAME ALREADY disgustingly filthy cloth and wiped down the front counter. I was mortified!!! Then she walked into the food area.
Is that what WabaGrill means by clean dining areas??? It’s bad enough when we don’t SEE what goes on but when I see something like that… NO THANK YOU!!!

Terribly slow, food tastes average just as any other. Waits always ridiculous and the staff is usually under trained.

This location is in need of rehab. Paint is worn on the trash can. Granite tabletops are crusty with hardened particles of food. Chair rail on the walls has worn out paint. Very unappealing and unclean we won’t be coming to this location again.

This place has the worst customer service ever. Every single time I have come here the service has gotten worse I’ve been coming here for 6 years and the service has gotten so bad I prefer to drive further up to the one in North fontana. The food quality has also gone down in this location.

Been here around 10 times since I work nearby. Very consistent, never had any complaints. 4 out of 5 stars only because the customer service could be better. A smile and friendly attitude goes a long way.

I work close by this restaurant. So, I like to call in my order because I only have a 30 minute lunch. The employees constantly keep the phone offline or off the hook so you can’t reach any employee to place an order. This is not the first time either. I even had an employee admit it as well. Tired of this waba grill.

I love me some Waba Grill, and I’ve been to 4 different ones. Tonight my 2 stars go for atmosphere. It is 8:30pm and my sister and I are enjoying our meal, albeit through the cacophony of country music in the main dining area and Spanish music from the kitchen, when one employee starts MOPPING WITH STRONG CLEANER. You guys close in 1 hour, you have plenty of time to mop. In case people aren’t aware, your olfactory senses impact taste. I was halfway through my meal and all I could taste was Pinesol. –_​– This woman even mopped directly behind my chair. Safe to say, I’m stick to North Fontana or Rialto for my Waba Grill.

Pretty good and healthy fast food. Had the beef with veggie bowl over rice. Good flavor. Veggies were a bit bland though. Decent place overall.

This place is amazing I’m always eating here because it’s healthy and the ppl here are very nice love there food it’s just that amazing

I came here today and found the food to be really good. I had an all chicken with avocado. I really enjoyed it. They have a section for you to add extra teriyaki sauce or onions which I did. The food was made fast even though they were busy. They did not get 5 stars because it was a bit dirty understandable for how busy they are. Would definitely recommend this place.

Customer service is HORRIBLE at this location! Food speaks for itself. If you can go to a different Waba grill, do it! I came during my lunch break. Staff appeared to be having a meeting and I was left standing at the register for 7 min before I leaned over the counter and asked for some assistance. Big mistake because the lady barely spoke any English and she seemed annoyed that I spoke up. When she handed my lunch, she slams it on the counter… Worst customer service ever! It was as if I walked into a taco place. Cook, mgmt, cashier all speaking Spanish.

This has to be the worst franchise store out of all the ones I have visited in the Inland empire, can’t really knock the food since its formulaic so its the same from store to store but the staff here is something else. They had one cashier on a Saturday in a busy busy shopping center that gets lots of foot traffic she may have had a nice smile but was she ever slow the other girls behind the counter seeing all this just went about their menial duties instead of opening a second register. I get a 30 minute lunch so why did it take about 30 minutes for them to put rice and chicken in a bowl? It was just me either everyone that was waiting ahead of me for their food look displeased and kept looking at their watches. I love these bowls and its a shame that the franchise hasn’t been around so long in so cal and its already having a lot of their stores go downhill in customer service.

The food here is better than the waba grill down by south ridge, but the service SUCKS. The girls at the front counter are rude, never have a smile on their face and act like they hate their job. They’re half paying attention, half mumbling. And don’t even say thank you at the end. But turn around to their coworkers and are all happy and laughing??? If your job is such a burden give it to somebody else. I prefer this waba grill over any other ones but that’s because of the COOKS, otherwise I’m tired of getting attitude every time I come here.

I have been here a lot of times. Food is delicious like always. Chicken stake plates are big.
Down side to this place is customer service. It is a joke. This Erika lady is very rude. I even happen to see how she mistreated a new girl. I once made a phone order and this lady was a straight b*** so I reported her to corporate and all they dis was say Oh we are sorry on your next order we will give you 10% off. Really? Not that I needed the discount but is this what they give to loyal customer?
Wait time is also a down side. I only come to this location every once in the blue. I rather go to the Rialto location they have a drive thru window have excellent customer service and give a complementary drink.

Definitely a healthier alternative to yoshinoya. I recommend getting a bowl instead of a plate. You get more food for your money. Can’t really go wrong with the half chicken half steak bowl with brown rice and green onions. Great post-​workout meal.

Overall like the place yet when pushed recently regarding the chicken salad
That was like a head of iceberg lettuce and a small portion of chicken, they challenged me over the phone stating it was fine. So if you want a chicken salad from there go to store buy a head of iceberg lettuce. Chop it in ¼ large pieces add One small tomato and 2 slices of cucumber and wala you have a waba chicken salad. Worst chicken salad in the universe
