Great time tonight. Thank you to our server Darlene for making our daughters 10^th Birthday dinner special. Once she found out it was our daughters birthday she made her feel special. From taking the Birthday girls drink order first, then her food and then brought out an awesome birthday dessert with a candle, The restaurant was busy but we felt likle we were her only table. We will definately be back because not only was the service great but the food was delicious.

Come here every month or so with the family. Have never had any issues, always good service and food. The fact they have good beer on tap keeps me coming back. They usually have a couple IPAs on tap.

I come here occasionally with my friend since it’s one of her favorite restaurants. The last time we hung out I let her choose where we ate dinner since I chose last time. We were seated immediately. Our waiter came very quickly as well. We ordered drinks first and once we got those we were ready to order. We got cheddar fries to start, with all the toppings of course. I got the Longboarder burger, lettuce wrapped and added Island Reds, which are onion strings.
I had been craving fries all day, needed those carbs, so I was super excited for our cheddar fries. They came out a few minutes after we ordered. They were topped with cheese and bacon and served with ranch dressing. The ranch dressing made those cheddar fries. I like that ranch is a little more on the thin side. The cheese was melted and stringy, went perfect with those crispy fries. The fries were kind of greasy though.
Before we could finish the platter of cheese fries our entrees came out. My burger was slightly overcooked, but I didn’t mind because it tasted fine. I ate my burger with a fork and knife since it was lettuce wrapped and a bit messy. The thousand island dressing brought everything together.
Service here was fast and the food was very satisfying. Another good meal at Islands.

My service was awesome and the food was amazing but I wanted to draw attention to the managers that I think it’s bullshit that when I was asked for a side of sour cream I was charged for it…
I work in a restaurant so I understand these things but I don’t see why my friend could get ranch for free but when I wanted sour cream for my food I had to pay for it. It’s just a little ridiculous.
So to other customers: ASK if you’re going to be charged before you ask for extra anything because most likely you will be.

So, I come to this islands fairly often. Over the weekend, sometimes lunch at the office, and have been coming for a long time. A couple weeks ago my boyfriend and I and a friend came here for lunch on a Sunday. I ordered my usual CA flyer with no cheese and no mayo. I order this exact thing every single time. I get my sandwich and notice it’s covered in mayo. 5 minutes or so go by and our server comes and asks how everything is. I tell her there’s mayo on my sandwich and she walks away and says oh no. 30 seconds later she comes back with my sandwich in hand and says «there’s no mayo on this sandwich.» I open the bun and say then what’s all of this — she replies «OH! That’s spicy mayo!» I’m literally baffled because she just told me there was no mayo on my sandwich and I asked for no mayo but in her world mayo and spicy mayo must not mean the same thing. She tells me she Can swap the bun out really fast it will only take a few seconds and I said forget it and didn’t even bother with the sandwich. Farewell islands! Never again!

The quality of food has considerably gone down since a few years ago I guess… I wouldn’t spend my money here.
Came here with the family, we all got burgers and when the food came out with the side of fries, they all seemed few days old and that they were just re-​fried. I asked our waiter to put a fresh batch for all of us and when the fries came out they looked better but you could still tell they weren’t fresh!
The burgers were just ok, I’d rather eat an in-​n-​out burger or just cook one myself to be honest. Our waiter was friendly and attentive and that’s the only reason this place gets the 2 stars.

This THE place for Sunday football!!! Darlene pours a wicked beverage and all the servers are into the games, cheering for teams, discussing stats, play calling– it’s like watching the game at Cheers– everyone knows your name!!! And the food– best burgers anywhere!!!

5 stars for the food and 10 stars for Courtney!
Stopped in for a couple of burgers and my husband wanted to sit in the bar to watch the football games. I usually don’t like to sit in the bar because the service usually isn’t the best. BUT, we had Courtney for our server and that girl is on top of it.
I was ordering a turkey burger and wasn’t sure how to order it and Courtney suggested the thousand island dressing one. It was delish. Loved it.
Also she made sure our drinks were always full. And watching her work she had at least 5 or 6 tables in the bar and she just took care of everyone and was very efficient. I would of given her 10 stars if they would of let me. Great service.

Took an hour to get a burger and nachos on a Tuesday night. The manager brought the food out and compensated the entire meal. Then the burger was wrong and the bun was and old stale bun that was hard as a rock. The manager forgot part of our meal and said she would go get it then never came back. I eventually asked the server for it and he finally brought it. The server did a really good job and I left him a tip, but the kitchen was slow as molasses. I finally got my burger about 10 minutes later.

Not so great lately the last few times the service has been friendly, but super slow. They seem to have something going lately. My wife had the wiki wiki salad and said it was great. On the other hand my burger was seriously under cooked — I think I heard it moo when I bit in to it. Sent it back then settled in for a long long nap while waited for the rerun of another under cooked burger. I gave up. Manager was kind enough to stop by but he seemed to be more interested in cracking jokes than fixing the problem

Came with the family for our grandson 7^th b-​day in this location since it’s closed by & our grandson pick it up to go for his b-​day!
Everything came out good, Justin was our waiter and he did a good job, I ordered the Mahi Mahi sandwich with French fries and it was good.
The restaurant is located in Walmart shopping center with lots of parking lots.

I had my best dining experience at this place. It was great. Our waitress Anastasia did an amazing job really great job serving us and was very friendly. The food was also very good and tasty.

I love islands. The décor is starting to get outdated, but it’s still really fun. The food is good for the most part. Nothing to rant and rave about, but it’s definitely comfort food.
Northshore tacos or Yaki tacos. Enjoy yourself.

I’m not a fan of burgers, but always get one here. They do a good job on a variety of «$ 10+ burgers». They all come with fries, so don’t order fries/​onion rings as an appetizer unless you’re a grease pitt!
Good, fast service when busy.

The food is ok; it wasn’t hot when it was brought out today, it took a while.
But the reason for the low review is their bathrooms-​deplorable. Out of toilet paper, stink like rotten who knows what, and they probably hadn’t been cleaned or checked. When I let the hostess know the bathrooms needed cleaning she said «I know.» Sigh… I’d be embarrassed to have customers walk in a restroom this dirty.

I love this place. It is a chain and I don’t normally give chains high ratings… Because really how impressive can you be?
The staff here is amazing not only do they help each other out so the guest didn’t need to keep asking for things, but the restaurant is immaculate. The lights are clean, ledges are clean and the use flashlights while sweeping under the tables to make sure they don’t miss anything. This is not only a reflection on the individuals, but also the management.

Awesome experience! Super nice staff, short wait time, and delicious food. I ordered The Maverick burger with veggie patty, and let me tell you it was delicious! Served with crispy red string onions, BBQ sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and cheese, this giant burger is absolutely mouthwatering. Their french fries nice and crispy, not greasy at all. I’ve been to Islands a few times before and their food is always superb, and this time was no exception. I can’t wait to go back and try some of their other burger options!

Islands is always great and it has such a fun environment. My absolute favorite item there, is the Tortilla Soup. It is the best Tortilla Soup I have ever had. I highly recommend it. The Sweet Potato Fries are also amazing. You will love them!
There is a great happy hour in the bar with lower priced appetizers. It is totally worth it if you go at the correct times. This Islands has great service and they are very friendly. They also have a section on their menu showing some healthier options.

Yummy, yummy, yummy!!! We came on a Thursday during Happy Hour. The friendly staff gave us suggestions… And when you’re starving it’s so hard to pick…
The burgers are missive and you get bottomless fries. I’ll be back for the Buffalo Wings. The cocktails were delicious!!!
We highly recommend this place and we will be back.

Normally, I love Islands. I used to go to Islands every week when I was in college for some happy hour/​a great burger. It was routine for one of my friends and I to just chill at the bar, get some drinks, catch up on life.
But this islands… this is the worst islands I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to at least ten different locations.
Everything was closed in the area when we went — I think it was Easter… so we opted for Islands. We went to get take out and the restaurant was pretty dead, so we expected to be home pretty fast (we live pretty close by). We only ordered two items — island fish & the turkey burger. So me and my sister sat at the bar and waited for our food, normally whenever I’ve done this, the islands would offer me a glass of water or some fries (since we did get bottomless fries with our order) but this one did not. That’s not a big problem and I won’t knock them on that.
A elderly couple sat next to us at the bar while we waiting about ten minutes later. About thirty minutes later, they had already received their food and was eating. Me and my sister were still waiting… we were there before them and usually take-​out is faster… what gives? We inquired about our food and it took another twenty to get it.
We literally waited an entire hour for two orders — when we got home, our mom asked if we drove to the ocean and went fishing.
I still love Islands, but I’m never ever going to this one again.
