We always get great food from Maggies, Cinnamon rolls are GREAT! Home cooking with a great selection of items daily. Don’t forget to grab a loaf of bread to take home too. Love Maggie’s!

I was looking for a place to hang out in the morning while waiting for my son to tour Pacific University. Great cinnamon rolls and I love that they access to wifi. Simply stated, I’d like to find myself facedown in Maggie’s Buns any morning of the week.

My kind of place… very colorful and unusual hand painted furnishings. Simple but unique menu. Very inexpensive. Everything is homemade and delicious. Fun and friendly atmosphere. Went here for a late breakfast. I had the scrambled eggs with cream cheese and dill with fresh baked homemade bread. Great location in old downtown Forest Grove.

Disgustingly sweet cinnamon bun. The buns are stale, as is the coffee. The bun was sickeningly sweet: enough that the Nantucket apple juice(basically apple cider) I got tasted like lemon juice. The portions are huge, but what’s the point if it’s inedible? I won’t be coming here again, at least not for anything sweet.

It was okay, sandwiches were decent. soup was nasty. everything else in the case did not look very fresh. It basically looks like yesterday’s food being reheated. I wouldn’t go back. Very little seating. Super cramped. Couldn’t enjoy my food because there was a line it was loud and I literally had people’s butts behind my back while eating. not my kind of place.

I stopped in here for breakfast after reading all the reviews. It is a very small place, yet you can eat inside if you can find a table. I really enjoyed the décor, and the omelette, and cinnamon bun. I would try to go there when they aren’t so busy, but to be honest, I am not sure when that is.

I was in Forest Grove over the week end for a basketball tournament and thought I would finally try Maggie’s Buns, and I am glad I did! I had the best turkey roll up I have ever had, so full of flavor with chunks of real turkey and real bacon, OMG it was yummy! Plus a chocolate, butterscotch marshmallow cream desert called Mase, rich and out of this world decadent! The tall young guy who waited on me was so nice and helpful!!! I WILLBEBACK!

I LOVEMAGGIE’s BUNS! This is truly a hidden gem in Forest Grove! Everything is homemade and everything I’ve had so far here is delicious! I usually come here for lunch and since their menu changes everyday depending on what Maggie wants to make, it’s always a surprise what’s going to be on the menu for lunch! Some favorites of mine are the stuffed meatloaf, their wraps, their quiches, and the chicken dishes(example: mango chicken). I always get a side of their house salad which is ALWAYSAMAZING! I really like the house salad here! Everything always comes with a side of bread that is homemade(I’m pretty sure)! Not only is everything amazingly delicious, there’s a 10% discount for anyone that shows their Pacific ID! YAY! So lunch is always around $ 7 and portions are BIG so you totally get your money’s worth! After 2:30pm, there’s happy hour on their baked goods! All the day old baked goods are ½ off! I’d recommend the cinnamon rolls! SOBIG and SOYUMMY!

Maggie’s Buns has a fair selection of baked goods and brunch items. They also have catering services which serves lunch and dinner foods as well. Service at their restaurant is slow but they do take the time to talk and get to know you while you’re waiting in line. There isn’t a lot of seating here on the weekends, but most of the other times, their patrons are students that grab and go. I’m a big fan of her cinnamon rolls but I only get them on Saturdays when they make them with walnuts. The buns themselves are huge and about the size of one ass cheek, which they’re probably named after cause carbs… all the carbs… For those of you on a diet they do have the option of getting the cream sauce on the side which I really appreciate so I can control the sweetness of the bun, which can be overwhelming.

Since my original review was deleted, I’ll make this one short and sweet… «Bun» is really very, very good, but the events I witnessed from the owner and her husband make it had a horrible«after taste». Not going to say anymore.

Maggie catered my sisters surprise birthday party at Bella Via on 11 – 21. She was always available to chat and help with questions and suggestions. And the food was wonderful! We got many compliments from party goers on the food. The staff was friendly and professional all at the same time. If you want to hire someone for catering, Maggies Buns is your place. Perfect.

Food is always excellent. Five stars if seating was increased. Restaurant has less than 10 tables inside and outside. If Maggie could expand to next door she could easily triple her profit. Room is really the only negative. Rolls are fresh and delicious. Eggs Benedict are done perfect.

My wife and I were headed to the coast from Portland and the place we had originally gone to was closed so we found Maggie’s on Unilocal and we are sure glad that we did. The burrito was huge and one of the best breakfast burritos I have ever had. My wife had the veggie scramble and it was so fresh! We had to get one of the huge buns to go! It is a great little find in Forest Grove!

An amazing spot for breakfast pastries and homecooked delights. Great coffee, atmosphere, and Maggie is so delightful. The cinnamon rolls are a staple but for a hearty appetite go for one of the omelets or breakfast burritos.

You don’t need to worry about the prices. They’re great. You don’t need to worry about the quality. The food is amazing. If you can stand the pound you’ll gain from two meals from here, you should be here. Also leave a lazy afternoon open from the ensuing food coma. This place is wonderful.

I have given this place multiple opportunities over the past year and have never had a good experience here. The people that work there are unlike any other people I’ve met. The wait for drinks is consistently 10 or more minutes and on multiple occasions my order has been completely forgotten! Literally ever time I’ve been here at least one negative thing has happened. Most recently I walked in to a nearly empty restaurant. A girl was helping customers, and told us it would be just a moment so we sat at the table less than a foot away from the cash register. We waited. And waited. No one asked if we needed help and she never came back. Then she helped another customer so I walked over to her and said«since you have apparently forgotten we exist, we will just go somewhere else». The girl had the guts to turn it around on us and said«I didn’t realize you were waiting, we normally have people stand by the cash register» as if she had no idea she even spoke to us. Even more ironically, the other customer she had helped instead was over by the front door. I work in town and every time a customer asks for recommendations I make sure to tell them not to go to Maggie’s Buns and I’m happy to provide them with a laundry list of reasons not to. I really hate this place and have no idea how they haven’t gone out of business yet, but I wouldn’t mind assisting in the process.

I was having a kind of bad day and they were awesome. 5 stars for being awesome. Unilocal says I need to make this longer for it to be a real review. I like the clouds painting on the ceiling. And the tables. The atmosphere is great.

I want to like this place, I really do, but it’s a bit rough around the edges… I’ll start with the compliments first: They make really yummy breads. They offer a nice selection of fares in their deli case. The Décor is fun and eclectic and makes me smile. But, The place hedges on dirty, and there always seems to be a disconnect between the staff and kitchen; I’ve yet to get exactly what I’ve ordered, or have them not be out of something. It’s all just a bit too«casual» for me. With a bit of polishing I think this place could shine…
