After my wife’s car needed some tlc from an auto body shop after a person hit her in a parking lot, we were turned towards Platinum in Forney as it was both convenient and local, plus they had on site car rental through Enterprise. When I took possession of the car, 2015 model Toyota, it had a rank smell, stains all over seats in front and back… it just gave you an overall«nasty» feeling. I called and logged my concerns but was told they had no more vehicles and they might could help me tomorrow. We never went back in as I never got off work in time to go swap it out, I just took one for the team and endured the smell and all of its associated issues. My advice… never accept a car that doesn’t meet your needs… always inspect what you expect, and never settle for any reason. It was a long week, but finally we got our car back and was able to turn in the Toyota. My fault for initially accepting the vehicle, but having a car like that in their fleet and representing their brand is not good at any level. Disappointed in my hometown rental option. I’ll go elsewhere and out of town in the future.
