Pricey, cold food, impatient customers, wet dirty dishes, and silverware, and only gives workers who need A JOB only 2 – 3 hours at one day a week it wasnt worth my gas or my time and most of the staff either vanished to play on their phones, or goof off. Poorly run management and runny or no ice cream. I worked only there a short time and still didnt make enough money to make ends meet I wasnt trained well and when I asked questions I was either ignored or the staff walked away. I can see why this place has lost business been there for 21 years and buffets are passé NOW!!! Take your money and buy food at the grocery store I would

I was a little wary of the place after reading previous reviews. I’m glad I was able to write my own review.
It’s a buffet, people. If you expected white glove, 5 star service and gourmet cuisine; you shouldn’t have gone to a buffet.
I went on a Wednesday night at about 6:30 with a group of over 20 people. The food was (buffet) delicious and (buffet) hot, and the dishes/​cutlery were (buffet) clean. All the employees I encountered were clean and courteous. The baked chicken was indeed over-​salted, and two of the three soda machines were out of order.
But it’s a BUFFET. I’m not a big buffet patron. I typically avoid them because they are buffets. This one was quite good compared to some frightening examples I’ve visited.

My daughter said the food was decent, I agree. Nothing special the best thing about it is the price and variety some of the food was very fresh but a lot of the fried foods had been sitting way to long!

The place is nasty. The plates and silverware had food and film on them. The lady at the front desk was completely rude and mouthed off a couple of times. Our waiter was sitting at a table by himself eating and when he talked to us, he still had a mouthful of food. We got our money back and left immediately. I would not recommend anyone ever eating there. I would rather starve then eat there.

Our family held our Thanksgiving meal at this restaurant on Saturday, 11−29−14. We were all extremely satisfied. The food was exceptional, with plenty of variety. The facility was clean, and staff very friendly and helpful! We are happy that we chose this place!

I am writing this review on behalf of my Grandfather who enjoys Hometown Buffets but has to admit that this location is no longer worth going to. Until my Grandmother’s greivenses are addressed by a change in management and overall product, my Grandfather will no longer be able to enjoy the normally good food.
Although the service has been gradually depreciating over time, their trip to the buffet on 1 June was the trademark of failed management. My Grandmother was first upset that Unilocal forced her to give this location a star. Management at this location was irresponsible at best. When they first arrived staff was smoking just outside the front door and did not wash their hands upon returning to work #health department. She had difficulty finding a clean table and the floor was littered with napkins/​food. In the food area there were used trays and plates, which had remnants of partially eaten food. The ice cream machines were the worst. When she requested from staff that the dessert area was cleaned she was met with nothing but excuses. There was no manager to be found. Without a change in management my Grandfather will suffer from Hometown Buffet withdrawals because my Grandmother will simply not patron this buffet any longer.
