Unfortunately, I have not and will not have the experience of checking this place out. I actually feel quite fortunate about it. I purchased a living social deal for a pedicure and when I went to schedule an appointment, they told me that the best I could do was put my name on a waiting list. Apparently, they sold more coupons than they had appointments for. When I asked if the coupon expiration date would be extended, she said no. When I asked about a refund, she told me that I had to contact living social for that. That may very well be the policy of living social and their coupons, but I was less than impressed with her customer service and her attitude when explaining this to me was rude and impatient. I’m unsure of how they thought they’d get away with selling more coupons than they had time for… They should have put a cap on the number sold if that’s possible. The whole thing just seems shady.

I can’t speak for the spa side of this place, but the girls and the owner that run the front of the tanning salon have no manners whatsoever. Countless times I have waited and waited to be greeted when I walked in the door, while they are finishing up their calls on their cell phones(yes, cell phones… social, not business), or finishing a text message. Even then, I’m lucky to get more than a stare as they wait for me to tell them my last name. I’ve even been there as the owner has foils in her hair and a shirt that displays her unappealing midriff.(A woman in her 40s should face the facts and stop pretending.) Besides the poor customer service, I tanned here years ago before my wedding. Even going every day for 2 – 3 weeks barely gave me the color that all other salons had given me in the past. But because I had bought a package and the location was convenient to my office, I finished it out. I definitely don’t recommend anybody waste their time in this tanning salon that this«spa» holds. The service is nonexistent, and you might as well go somewhere else that will actually give you a tan.

Overall a really great place. Small, cozy and accommodating, they were able to fit me in the same day I called for a massage, haircut and eyebrow wax. All the services were fantastic and the prices are almost shamefully low. It certainly has a different feel from an «upscale» salon, I think it’s more comfortable. I would call it a working woman’s salon: excellent service and very affordable.

I have to disagree with the first reviewer… I have never found the environment to be distracting. The staff are all very friendly, and you can’t beat the prices. I got a facial there that was wonderful, I get my eyebrows waxed there for literally 1⁄3 the price that most other places want to charge(with no difference as far as I can tell in quality of work), and the massages are fantastic. In this economy, someone like me(a full-time working student) can’t afford to drop $ 70 before tip on a massage. As someone who has to do lots of lifting and awkward transfers at my job, the 1 hour massage for $ 35 has been an absolute life saver. It also allows me to tip my therapist to the extent that I want to be able to. The place is always clean. It’s always fun. There’s coffee and tea available, and best of all, there’s no attitude. I’ve been to pricey«spa» places, and the staff were all so very used to catering to Daddy’s Little Credit Card… I could see right through it. Here, they actually care about whether or not you’re happy, and take very good care of you. I frequent this place, and I plan to return soon!

You get what you pay for. Very inexpensive but lacked the luxury, serenity and relaxing environment that you expect from a day spa. The massage room has an exit door that backs up to the Kmart parking lot. I could hear the trucks unloading, backing etc during the massage. The machine that does the spray tan is VERY loud. You can hear it during the massage and while in the facial room. The facial room is directly next to the spray tan. It scared the heck out of me when it went off! Additionally, while getting a massage or facial you can also hear the hip hop music and gossip coming from other parts of the building. It is hard to relax when someone is chatting about their cheating boyfriend or how much they hate their sister-in-law. On the positive side, the women that did my facial was great. It was very inexpensive and it left my face feeling great… if there wasn’t so much commotion I would have given this place a better rating.
