Came for breakfast and had a lovely raspberry financier. It was delicious — incredibly fresh and moist and bursting with berry goodness. I also loved the Bindle coffee and the way it was served. Service is also terrific. Great new addition to the Fort Collins bakery scene!

I first came to know Lovif from their booth at the downtown farmers’ market last summer. While I went to the market every week to pick up my weekly farm share, it was the anticipation of a sweet indulgence that got me there early every week(lest Lovif should sell out before I got there). The macarons, particularly the matcha-white chocolate and Earl Gray tea flavors, were a favorite of mine. I really missed seeing them this summer while they were focused upon opening their shop. I visited after noticing a few Unilocal reviews. The pastries and macarons are just as delicious as I remembered, but I am afraid that the days of the weekly Lovif indulgence are over for me. I am happy that they have been successful enough to open a brick and mortar shop, but the additional overhead does mean that price points are higher. Coupled with an out-of-the-way(for me) location, and I just don’t see myself coming here often. I still think that the flavors and quality of Lovif’s baked goods are unparalleled, but they will have to be indulgences for special occasions now.

Through friends, I got to know the amazing dessert chef, Tammy, who made my wedding cake last year. I only told her my budget and the basic idea, then she came up with amazing final product!!! WELOVEDIT!!! She is super talented, easy going, super easy to work with, full of knowledge, professional… and of course, the cake was super tasty, too!!! We impressed our guests with the uniqueness of cake. Because of her, our wedding was completed. Thank you, Tammy. Thank you, Lovif.

Stopped in from our bike-ride, mainly to see what they were offering as I’m always interested in a great bakery. It was too early for me to try the Cherry Bomb(I think that’s what it was called)… it was a pyramid-shaped chocolate confection with multiple delicious-sounding layers beneath the chocolate/almond coating. I’ll come back another time & hope it’s in the case! My husband ordered a slice(very generous sized) of potato focaccia. Mmmmmm… The name reminded me a one of the most wonderful things I ate years ago in Italy. A PESTO-potato focaccia. The Lovif version was colorful and flavorful. Reasonbly priced at $ 6. My husband kindly shared a few bites. If this had added pesto, too, I probably would’ve been in heaven!(Can you tell I LOVELOVELOVE pesto!!!) ;-) I will certainly come back to try some of their sweets. Staff all lovely & helpful!
