We were in Fort Collins overnight and had some time to get in a quick bike ride. The staff at Peloton was very helpful and provided us with a map and tips about where to ride. They also let us leave our car there, and use the fitting rooms to change in and out of kit for our ride. Separately, the store is well stocked with good stuff. If you’re into nice bikes, particularly high end mountain stuff there is a lot to see here. If you’re in, say hello to NIgel for us!

The best thing I can say about Peloton cycles is there’s another store on college that actually tries to help you without the condescending attitude. It seems that’s how it is when a bike store has two locations. One store generally out performs the other and both suffer sales because of the inconsistencies.

Just had the worst customer service experience I’ve had in Peloton store on Harmony Rd. Brought back tires that were recommended to me by a Peloton service person a few months ago because I’ve gotten 8 flats in two months(on both front and back tires). Over the two months since I bought them I brought tires back in to see why I kept getting flats. They would change the flats everytime and assure me it wouldn’t happen again. But continued to get flats. Finally went in today to ask for new tires. The lead tech(scars) refused even though they could see in their records how many times I’ve come back. Said its not their fault and literally pushed the bike back at me. All the lead service tech had to do to turn around a dissatisfied customer was replace the tires. It would’ve cost them $ 150 but instead they lost a customer who has now posted their dissatisfaction with Peloton to all their cyclist friends and coworkers(from a nearby real estate office) No wonder our company buys their employee bikes from Lee’s.

No customer service. We stopped by to look at a road bike for my wife and the staff would not even acknowledge us. We saw two gentleman helping a younger woman. Another two at the registers with no customers and a younger girl that was wearing a tiara. I would of expected a simple hello from someone or at least a we will be right with you but we received nothing. with all the bicycle shops in northern Colorado I am glad I do not have to do business with one that ignore their customers.

I went in here as they are the largest Specialized store in the area. Their website also indicated they had last years model of the bike I was looking at. I walked into the store, and not a single employee acknowledged my existence. I wandered until I found the bikes I was looking for, and still, no one came to help. There were less than 5 other customers in the building and at least 4 employees talking amongst themselves. After getting no help, I went up to someone and asked if I could take a bike down, and someone finally came to my aid. He immediately started to up-sell me and seemingly wanted me to take a bike home, that day. I persisted on trying to identify what I needed, but he seemed insistent on selling me a better version of the first bike I looked at. I then asked about last years model and he immediately told me that didn’t have those. I am disappointed because I did my research before going in, but the salesman only concern was sending me home with an upgraded model. Not sure he knew what I needed but he sure wanted a sale. I’ll be spending my $$$ elsewhere. I wanted a Specialized, but this isn’t the place to buy.

I finally bought a bike! Oh, I paid for it alright but they did give me 15% off my 5 highest priced extra items I bought. Unfortunately the bike wasn’t 15% off and now I’m in the hole. I experienced customer service from 3 separate individuals on my 3 different visits. They all get«A“s!!! A very knowledgeable staff.

I have purchased one road bike here in past, but has been 10 years. In today first time since. Very good selection of higher end bikes.

Specialized bikes are great bikes but the sales and service at this shop is lacking. Had a component fail in under 60 days on a high dollar($ 2700) bike and they held the bike over 3 weeks waiting on a warranty part. There are other better Specialized dealers within easy driving distance

It’s not what you would call a local bike shop. They have a limited quantity of brand specific bikes, apparel, and some accessories. But when it comes to doing you a favor in the name of neighborly help, no. They charge for everything they do, and are towards the high end of ‘competitive pricing’. I would equate them to a Home Depot versus local hardware store as far as customer service goes. If you want a new bike that’s dependable and don’t really care about the price, this is a great place. And the people are nice, just not the caliber of other Fort Collins bike shops.

This was one of the best experiences I’ve had at a bike shop. I called a day in advance, talked to Julie and told her what we were looking for. When we came the next day for a fit, our bikes were waiting for us on the trainer and already had some modifications(shorter stem, etc) based on what I told her on the phone. Over the next hour they dialed us in and sent us for a test ride. Julie and the staff were wonderful to work with. Such a great experience. Thanks, Peloton.

My husband and I went in looking for a new mountain bike. We had been looking around for about 15 minutes and found what we were looking for. There were no employees to be found — other than one or two at the counter helping check other customers out. There was another fellow and his son looking at some road bikes — an employee came from the back to ask if he needed any help. He didn’t. Then, the employee walked RIGHTPASTUS. Didn’t ask if we needed anything — though it was perfectly obvious that we did. I’m not sure what happened. Well, after being annoyed by that, I finally hunted down someone else and got some help. Though he was helpful — he was definitely a salesmen, and tried to upsell us on everything. We left and bought a bike elsewhere because the service was so horrendous. Certainly won’t be going there again or ever recommending them to anyone. Oh, and they have NORETURNPOLICY. I wouldn’t trust any place that can’t offer a return policy of ANY kind on their bicycles.

I’ve always had great service from Peloton. I was building up a new road bike and had to stop in for many small items. Things like getting a headset pressed or a little bolt. They never charged me a dime. Since then I’ve purchased three bike from them. A little good will goes a long way. One nice thing to note. They give free lifetime [minor] tuneups with a new bike.
