I only come here for the lunch special. Three rolls for $ 11.95 is a pretty good deal. Food is good however the service is really slow. Every time I’ve been here, the wait for the food ends up taking a long time to come. Seems like they could use a few more chefs.

Not the best sushi but the 11.95 three roll take out deal beats the hell out of grocery store sushi and it was ready on time. The sushi was not bad but it was also not amazing. Overall this is a great little joint to grab some take out for that finals week grind or if you roll your car.

Excellent food and knowledgeable staff! The food is always great! Other sushi resturaunts have some food that doesn’t taste fresh! Suh is always great!

Update to my previous disappointment: last night was redemption! I rarely, if ever, blow $ 37 on dinner for just myself, but I went all out to see if things were different this time. Clean? check! Attentive? check!(Heidi is a gem of a waitress) Baby Lobster roll? Everything I wanted it to be and more! Batman roll? a freaking visual feast, almost scary looking but made my taste buds dance! Mr. Suh, thank you for encouraging me to give you’all another try. I’m glad I did.

Food is good, but service is totally bad. We wait for 50 minutes for sushi, the question is there just have a little bit other customers here. And the waitress doesn’t even come one time to pick any trash. By the way, sushi is good.

Wow I guess the last time we went it was a fluke… We just went here again and it was the absolute worst sushi we have everrrrrr had! The fish tasted metallic, as well as the tempura vegetables for some reason. Our waitress was extremely inattentive, we had to wait 15 mins for miso soup when people who came in after us already had theirs, even though only 4 tables in the whole restaurant had people. We ordered the 2 roll lunch combo and also got the jalapeño bomb for the lunch price special. The jalapeño appetizer was weird, as the tuna was mixed with the cream cheese, and when it gets fried, essentially becomes canned tuna. Gross. It should have been prepared raw and put on top, or something like that to retain the integrity of the fish. They served us a wrong roll, getting 50% of the order wrong. They tried telling us that when you tempura batter and fry sweet potato it turns a milky white color. It is offensive to try to tell that to someone who regularly eats the dish, and cooks with sweet potatoes. After we told the waitress what was wrong and sent the food back, they only took the sushi part of the lunch special off the bill, and we ended up spending $ 27.07 for some sake, a fat tire pint, cold miso soup that was 15 mins late, and essentially jalapeño poppers with canned tuna inside. The fish was visibly brown from oxidation, and 20 minutes after I ate 1 piece of sushi, all I could taste was a metallic salmon taste in my mouth, after drinking the rest of our alcoholic beverages, ANDWEDIDN’T ORDERANYSALMON. The quality and freshness of the ingredients are garbage here, as well as the quality of customer service. The only reason this place is in business is because it is on almost on campus, and college kids have lots of their parents money to waste. If you are a sushi connoisseur, avoid this place like the plague. Hell, if you have a pulse and do not want to catch a fish-related disease, avoid this place. I wish there was a 0 star rating, especially after giving this place 3 attempts, which we normally do not do, especially for a sushi place ~1500 miles away from any salt water.

Friendly service, sub par food and owner first honor their own coupons. Plenty of other sushi places to choose from. Jaws is amazing.

My boyfriend and I ordered takeout from Suh Sushi last night because I wanted ramen and he wanted sushi. Called Suh Sushi to place the order– ramen, 2 sushi rolls, an order of gyoza, a miso soup, and 2 Ramune drinks. I was told the total and that the food would be ready in 30 minutes. So, 25 minutes later I hop into the car and make my way to Suh Sushi. When I walk in, I was looked at oddly by a server/bus boy(I have no clue what he was, the restaurant’s organizational structure was pretty confusing to me) and did not receive a «Hello» or «I’ll be with you in just a few minutes» until I finally made a gesture to him that I obviously either wanted to pick something up or be seated at a table. I told him my name(this was roughly 35 minutes after I placed the order) and he said my order wouldn’t be ready for another 10 minutes or so. Okay, cool, I realized I have to go to the gas station to grab something(located diagonally across the street)… I told him I would be back in a minute then. I overhear him saying to the guys on the sushi line, «nevermind, no rush on Jess…» Whatever I was hoping the food would be ready when I was back. And there I am, back in Suh Sushi 10 minutes later… I speak to another employee and ask him when my food’s going to be ready. He says«oh probably just another 5 minutes or so.» Cue 10 more minutes. FINALLY the food is ready(1 hour after I ordered; 30 minutes of me waiting around). Half of the stuff is cold. I pay the full price($ 50 for everything I ordered. even left a tip for the one nice employee who actually was interested in helping a customer) and head home, a bit frustrated but happy to have food in hand. I get back and realize. They forgot the miso soup! So, after waiting around for 30 extra minutes and dealing with a horrible and unfriendly employee, I paid for an item and it wasn’t even in the bag. I usually fully check everything I order to-go, but I just wanted to eat! In terms of the food, it was OK but severely overpriced for quality. My boyfriend ordered the unagi bomb which was nearly $ 15– at other sushi places, this would either be a.) bigger or b.) cheaper. The gyoza was alright, but small and expensive, yet again. Couldn’t tell you about their miso since they forgot ours. The ramen was decent, but the broth lacked a distinct flavor and depth. My salmon roll was nothing special. I would not have minded waiting an hour if I was told it would take that long from the start on the phone. I could have spent more of my Sunday at home, rather than waiting in a parking lot. I ended up calling them to mention the situation and got a nice apology from the manager, so 2 stars for a nice manager and decent ramen. In all honestly, this place is way too expensive for the quality of food provided. The service is just bad and management maybe needs to reconsider the organizational structure of the inner workings of this restaurant– it seemed like a mess, takeout is unorganized, and some of the employees were simply not friendly and cold.

We made our only visit here when the university was out for the summer. Service was OK, sushi was unremarkable, but I got fairly sick an hour after dinner.

Bulgogi sushi was solid, but the veggie was a little to crisp, carrots weren’t thin enough. It was average sushi but at expensive price. Worth it if you really want sushi but want to check out other sushi places in Fort Collins.

I’m not a sushi snob. Never met a piece I didn’t love. So Suh Sushi is near my home and at the intersection of two bike trails. I’m in. The staff? Great! The food? I ordered two rolls. No left overs:)

Visiting Fort Collins and this was my second attempt to get decent sushi. Happily, Suh Sushi obliged with good sushi at a reasonable price! I walked in and placed a to go order. The server was super sweet and helpful. She let me know they have a 3 rolls for $ 10.95 special. Awesome! I ended up getting spicy tuna roll, eel & cucumber roll, and shrimp tempura roll(all w/soy wrappers) along with seaweed salad. All of the food was good! Not the best sushi I’ve ever had, but definitely great for the price! I was so much happier than my last sushi experience here(see my review of Nimo’s Sushi)! Happy, Happy!

We finally gave this place a try. Unexpectedly good food. We had a couple of rolls. The dragon roll and spicy salmon roll. Additional orders included two kamas; one yellow tail and the other salmon. Pretty darn delicious! The staff and servers are what made the experience awesome. So friendly and informative, it was great. Cost-wise, not extremely economical considering its location being near to the University, however not outrageous either. Apparently there is a lunch special where you can get three or four rolls for $ 12. That sounds like a great deal! Will definitely return again for the servers and the food!

I used to work as a server at Suh many years ago! So coming back in was quite a nice surprise, all the tables inside have been upgraded including the bathroom. It looked more like a sushi restaurant than from before. They also have a little host area with a larger wait staff and sushi chefs. My favorite thing about this restaurant is their lunch/to-go menu. Usually when I am in town, my fiancée will call ahead and put in our order of their any 3 rolls special for $ 10.95. Their sushi isn’t the best in town but for the value, it is worth it(especially for college students). With two of us, we usually order 2 sets of the any 3 rolls and it definitely satisfies our appetites. Once we put our order in, it is ready within 10 – 15 minutes.

Good lunch specials, except they don’t let you carry-out certain combos. However, they give you complimentary miso soup if you dine in. Sashimi is ok, and service is quick and friendly.

My very pregnant wife had a craving for tempura so we decided to give this place a try. We walked in and were seated right away, right across from the server station. There were only 4 or so other tables and I counted 3 servers, and a manager. We were never brought drinks, never acknowledged by a server, and the manager looked at us several times and didn’t send anyone over in our 25 minute wait. I took the menus back up while my wife made her way back to the car. The manager asked why I was being the menus back so I explained that we had been waiting for over 25 min and hadn’t even been brought water or had our drink order taken so we were going to leave. He said«oh» and then yelled«have a nice day» as we left. Over all, things looked clean and everyone was polite but the service was the worst I’ve ever experienced. I might be willing to try them again but with Jaws right down the street I doubt it

This is currently my favorite sushi spot in Fort Collins. As is the case for most sushi places, the prices are much more reasonable at lunch. Suh has a great lunch special in which you can get 3 rolls for $ 10.95. Their pumpkin tempura roll is fantastic, as is anything with the word«baked» in it. Come for lunch, have a drink or an appetizer with your rolls, and enjoy the laid back atmosphere of this fine little sushi place. Don’t let its location near the train tracks fool you — inside it is quite pleasant.

I was dog-sitting for my mom and just wanted some sushi without having to battle crowds or for parking. So, I called in an order here. Sashimi was terrible(see my picture). Rolls were mediocre. Service was great. Price was right. Service: Would be 5 stars if this all I was rating on. Everyone was really friendly. My order was ready soon after I got there. No complaints. And I really appreciate not having to do a scavenger hunt to get a parking spot. Price: I got a sashimi appetizer(no longer on the menu) and their 3 roll combo. It was just over $ 20 — ~$ 10 for the sashimi and ~$ 10 for their 3-roll combo. The 3-roll combo is available during lunch(dine-in and take-out) and dinner(take-out only). Normally, ~$ 10 for a 6-piece of sashimi would be a great deal, but the size, cut and quality made me wish I just hadn’t ordered it. Food: Again — the sashimi app was horrifically executed. I felt bad for the poor fish. It’s not on the menu anymore though, so maybe there’s a reason for that. I would be skeptical of any of their sashimi after that experience though. The rolls were nothing to write home about. I got the Philly roll(added avo and masago), spicy tuna toll, and shrimp tempura(w/avocado). It was the first time I had a Philly roll with crab in it, but to each their own. I didn’t finish any of the rolls. I might give it another go if I’m in a similar position — not wanting to battle downtown parking and looking to keep it cheap. But probably not going to be a regular here anytime soon.

This place has a nice atmosphere and easy parking. However, I was not impressed with anything else in this place. Everything took a long time to be brought to the table… even the soup which I am sure is already made, the server just had to ladle it. Further, the eel on the dragon roll tasted like it had been previously frozen, the cucumber on the naturo roll looked like the sushi chef was hired last week and is still in training. Finally, all the rolls were expensive. Granted, my friend and I like to get exotic rolls but even those run no more than $ 11-$ 12 a roll in other places in Fort Collins but here…$ 13-$ 14 a roll. I’ll skip this place and stick with Jaws or Suehiro(The Old Town location).
