Ordered the food pulled up they swiped my card. Told me to go Park my car at the other window… Drove up another employee told me to go back to the other window to get my food went back to the other window… Was told to park my car… Walked up to the place which was supposed to be a quick drive thru… Was finally given my food… Hotdog tasted like shit… Chicken was plastic… And I was held up my a group of COCKROACHES OUTSIDE the store… I gave them the rest of my food and ran like hell… Won’t be back since place is run by special people and COCKROACHES that will hold you up for food they are like 2 – 3 inches long.

Normally, I am not a fan of checkers, but when hunger rears its ugly head we sometimes must heed the call… No matter the consequences.
This Checkers location was not terrible. The service was quick, the food was hot and the taste was… it had taste!
Listen, checkers isn’t gourmet dining, nor does it pretend to be. However, Checkers is, and excels at being a fast food joint that whips up delicious chicken tenders and yummy cheese sticks.
Would I go to checkers again? Yes!
Would I immediately regret my decision? Yes!

Basically everything we ordered off the menu they didn’t have. We wanted a spicy chicken sandwich and they said they were out, then we ordered chicken tenders and they said it would take 5 minutes cause they had to clean the grease, so we said whatever, no too bad… But! We had to wait over 15 minutes for some chicken tenders!!! Terrible. When we got to the window to pay it was like they never even took our order because they didn’t know what drinks we had ordered and they were confused about our food. The people were nice, but what the heck? I gave it 2 stars cause the food does taste good, lol.

This was the single worst fast food (I know, its fast food… It’s gonna be bad) but this was far past bad.
Burned chicken strips for my daughter, with no sauce. Fries that were soooo greasy we could have lubed a Cadillac.

Best fries ever. Quick and cheap, especially after you been out partying or drinking. Love the 2 for $ 3 and the 2 for $ 5 specials. Not the most friendly people working but never had anyone just be rude.

The only reason I’m writing a review is, at this particular location they make you pay, then you must pull up then reverse back to the window to get your food. I don’t know the exact reasoning behind this, but it’s beyond weird! Also, they charge you $ 0.25 for bleu cheese.

Had a good experience here and just wanted to Unilocal it :)
They were accomodating, and not rude. One time I was in a hurry for the bus, and a woman (whom I believe is the manager) completely took that into consideration and made mine herself, right away. I love being listened to as a customer. Thank you Checkers :)

There hasn’t been a Checkers in the Chicagoland area for sometime. Sooooo. After leaving a bar, we had to go get something to eat. It was either McDonald’s or Checkers. We opted for something kind of new.
The cheese burgers were ok. Not like Wendy’s but decent. Didn’t like the cajun fries that much. But in a pinch, this place works.
I can see why there didn’t thrive in Chicago. It is very had to compete with White Castle. LOL!
