Had delivery from this place just now and wow! The pizza was great and the wings. And it came very quickly which is a plus. Had a Caesar salad also and the salad was nicely chopped. Nice little surprise. Thank you

Best NY style pizza place in the neighborhood. I have tried their other offerings, nothing stands out but their pies are good. I often order takeout from this spot when I feel the pizza urge. Place is always clean and organized.

Rude rude rude. employees are nasty and when I asked to speak to manager HAHA Manager was worse how can a business that depends on the public to keep them in business speak in such a manner? Never going there again there are plenty of pizza places close by that will appreciate your business

Empire Pizza goes above and beyond to satisfy their customers. I have many, many special requests as the PTA President of a nearby elementary school and they never say«No». Not only that, the food is awesome! The homemade deserts are ridiculously amazing! It is always such a comfort to know the order will always be there and be right!

I’m from New York and was hoping I could find a place with NY style pizza. This place isn’t even close. The sauce was kind of sweet tasting and the crust was really chewy.

Unfortunately the quality has decreased in the past couple months. We still go there, but not with the frequency that we had been. It’s seems to have gone from«excellent/outstanding» to «inconsistent, not bad» and«occasionally disappointing.»

Wow! What a delicious pizzeria in downtown Fort Lauderdale. It’s my second time here and the pizza did not disappoint. Their lunch special is: buy any two slices and you get a fountain drink for $ 1. That’s a savings of $ 1 and change. They always have a great variety of toppings, with delicious ready-made pizzas too. Today, I opted for a slice of sausage & pepperoni and a slice of their ready-made chicken parmigiana. Both were hot and fresh out of the oven and so delicious. The sausage & pepperoni slice was very flavorful and reminiscent of a New York slice. The chicken parmigiana was my favorite. They took breaded chicken, marinara sauce and fresh cheese(ricotta, I think) as pizza toppings. What a GREAT idea. The sweetness of the marinara sauce played well with the savory chicken. I’d eat an entire chicken parmigiana pizza! Plus, their desserts are homemade in house. My brownie was decadent! Also, Chef Vito, Robin the cashier and the waiter were all quite pleasant and helpful.

Horrible! Had the spaghetti & meatball. The pasta was way undercooked, the 1 giant meatball had no flavor and the sauce seemed it was from a can. Took 3 bites and could not eat the rest, it was that bad!

I had a get together for my son’s 21st bday and decided not to cook … Best decision I ever made! I ended up ordering from Empire Pizza Café’s catering menu. The staff went over and beyond and were extremely patient and helpful! Most importantly the food was sinfully delicious! We had Penne Alla Vodka that was to die for, Eggplant Rollatini was spectacular, Penne, Broccoli & Chicken was superb, Chicken Francais was tender and tasty… and Chicken Parmagiana was delightful! We just moved to the east side of town. so rest assured this will be our new hangout!

They’re fast, reliable and consistent with their food. Really appreciate how spot they are every time. I always order their cheese pizza and have never had a problem. Yes there’s better pizza in FT Lauderdale but Empire is good.

Empire is hands down the best pizza in FtL. It’s NY/NJ style, so reminds me of my home town. Service is friendly and attentive and the baked to order pies truly cannot be beat. Bravo.

After working on several arduous projects at my new job with a fellow devoted co-worker our boss decided to reward us with a free lunch — wow that was a twist to how I’ve been treated in other offices; actually recognized and rewarded for going above and beyond normal duties… I personally strive, guess it’s that anal-retentive Virgo streak, to always do extra because my work is my product and I want it to be 100% good — but I’m not gonna say no to the rare free lunch, let alone yummy pizza! I had never had Empire’s pizza before but I know New York style enough to know that this is its close kissing cousin — huge slabs of pie that you have to fold in two lengthwise and quickly gobble the triangular point while searing hot cheese and volcanic tomato sauce burn your throat and anywhere else they land — yeah — damn good pizza! Crust is not too thick but not cracker thin either, however it did get that perfect sear across the bottom so that it had the thinnest veneer of charcoal/carbon that adds an even better crisp crunch with each bite, which then is taken over by that aforementioned burning hot melted mélange of cheese(s) that taste ever so fresh and yummy. The sauce was also a perfect velvety texture of tomatoes but not too sweet and certainly not bland, undercurrents of basil and black pepper were well noted. Boss lady ordered a sausage and a plain cheese — golly each was so darn good. It’s pretty close to my office, just a 5 minute walk but I hope their delivery expands to my neighborhood because I want another slice… and then another… all my own!

About half a mile away from KCW, the County Courthouse and the Main Jail is the Empire Café, named for its connection to the Empire State and the famous pizza that comes from New York. Because of the bike rental station across the street from the School Board offices and the courthouse, you can make it there and back on a 30 minute lunch break. It’s worth the trip. The crust is what makes a NY pizza, and they are spot on. Even a heavily loaded chicken parm slice couldn’t soak through a crisp but not tough crust. The chicken was a little dry, but the sauce was flavorful, and who doesn’t love creamy dollops of melted ricotta? I picked up a square(scicilian slice for all you non-New Yorkers) just for old-time’s-sake and wasn’t disappointed. The crust was crisp on the outside, chewy on the inside and cheesy on the top. Perfect. All-in-all, definitely worth the trip!

Empire Pizza is a great place for a quick and filling lunch in Downtown Ft. Lauderdale. They have a couple great lunch specials that go very easy on the wallet — order 2 slices get a soda for $ 1, add fries to any sub(hot or cold) for $ 1, etc. Located in the shopping plaza with CVS and Salsa Fiesta at the northwest corner of Broward and Federal, Empire Pizza is just a short walk away from Las Olas, but offers a huge parking lot if you’re driving over. Their pizza slices are large — order 2 and don’t be surprised if you can’t finish them both. Their subs are the same — even the smaller size is incredibly filling. Service is friendly and speedy, and the prices can’t be beat. Empire Pizza is worth a visit!

Stay away. NY style? Where in NY. I ordered chicken parmesan sandwich. This is the first time i got this type of sandwich when the cutlet was cut into strips, which leads me to believe that either they use the cutlet for other things which means that its not fresh. Also the sausage and peppers, where in NY do the slice the sausage into discs, not even the length wise which i could understand. They offer two kinds of sausage sandwiches one parmesan(sauce and cheese) and the other sausage with onions and peppers. I ordered the chicken cutlet parmesan with light sauce and cheese, I ordered the sausage and peppers because there was no sauce and cheese on it or at least the menu did not indicate other wise NEVERAGAIN, SAVEYOURMONEY !!!
